Breakfast was delicious - a good choice of cereals and cooked breakfast items - they cater for allergies too. The host was lovely, she carried my friend's suitcase to our room downstairs. Great value for money Our double room was on the lower ground floor. It was a good size, modern and clean. The shared spaces are a little dated, but clean.

Our shower was temperamental and either super hot, or cold, although we made the best of the cold water and cooled off after a hot day outside (22°c)! Not so nice in the morning though. Our radiator wouldn't turn off, so we had to sleep with the windows open- which meant we could hear every noise outside.

The lady that greeted us was absolutely lovely, she was a fantastic host, and generally lovely to be around! The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the BIC, which made getting there and back after a concert incredibly easy. It was warm, the room was pretty basic but the beds were extremely comfortable. Tea and coffee station was perfect, and there was even a small fridge in the room, which was a lovely surprise! Breakfast was fabulous, all cooked fresh to order. Plenty of food, plenty of tea and coffee, and offered more toast!

There were parts of the hotel that weren't necessarily clean. Our shower cubicle had hairs on the bottom when we arrived. But nothing a quick rinse out didn't fix. There were some quite strange stains on the side next to the sink, and on the toilet lid itself. But had quite obviously been there for some time. At breakfast, the tables and chairs were covered in toast crumbs, and other various food crumbs (I assume) so had to wipe the chairs off before we sat down. And the same with the table we were sat at. The lids of the small milk jugs were also starting to rust on the inside, so had to be careful not to get any rust in our morning brew! Nothing too serious, just things we noticed during our stay.

Amazing breakfast with a great choice. The room was as expected for the price we paid. The location was very good, a short walk into Bournemouth, all downhill. The bus stop was about 100 yds from the hotel. As an older person with health issues the bus came in handy getting back up the hill from Bournemouth. A few places to eat near the hotel in the evening, we had a couple of meals in the Italian, not cheap, but what it is these days. I would stay at this hotel again if I was in that area. A very pleasant lady running the hotel who couldn't do enough for you.

Nothing could be better for the price we paid, and the service.

We were looked after exceptionally well by the lady owner. She couldn't do enough to help accommodate us. Without asking, she changed our room to a ground floor family room as she could see I was struggling with walking due to having a bad hip. The cooked breakfast were very good, the children's breakfast were free, which were a cooked breakfast then they had pancakes too. There was lots of choice on the menu which was great for 3 autistic children that struggle with food choices. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the hotel, just to note it is on a hill from the beach to the hotel so be prepared if you struggle with walking 😉 We were also aloud to keep our car parked at the hotel after we had checked out so we could still spend the day exploring Bournemouth. We will definitely return to this hotel 😊

Tina was very accommodating to my requirements which was for me to bring my pedal cycle into the room. She even knew it was a titanium bike and understood why it had to be indoors and never locked outside..

Wasn’t much I didn’t like. I thought everything about it was charming. If I had to get into detail, then maybe the noise created by the next room by the hot water running disturbed my sleep a bit, not a lot though. The breakfast was good but let down by the sausage which could have been better quality.

This was our first time in Bournemouth. We went over a bank holiday weekend with our almost 3 year-old. The staff was kind and very helpful, the room was very clean, the breakfast was nice, the guests were respectful of one another and were mindful of noise when coming and going.

This is a lovely old building so the floorboards were a bit creaky when the upstairs guests were walking around in their room, but this was quite a minor inconvenience.

Everything was great. The location was very close to the bus station, but at the same time very peaceful and quiet. In addition, a good bed contributed to great sleep as well. I was also very grateful to the staff for preparing me a super early breakfast, much earlier than what was the normal breakfast starting time.

It takes a really, really long time to get warm water running from the pipes, so please be really patient, the warm water will eventually come for you!

I loved everything about this hotel. To begin with, Tina, the receptionist was amazing! A wonderful person. She catered to our needs to perfection. Always asking if we were ok, if we needed anything else. She even cared to buy my husband a different milk as the one that he can drink was not available at the property. Very friendly and showed genuine care for our well being as customers. Next, the room, was a good sized room and very clean. Everything was spotless clean. The breakfast was delicious and we had a good variety of things to choose from. Overall, our stay was 10/10. We will definitely be back here whenever we visit Bournemouth again.

The location is perfect with just a short walk to the beach and shopping centres. The room was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. Even went to extra lengths to help with a surprise. The breakfast was well cooked with excellent customer service, even catering with a gluten free option.

The only comment would be that the hot water took quite a while to come through.
