The hotel itself a beautiful building and the main dining rooms are really lovely, even has a library. The room was small, bit comfortable for one night, bed on the firm side. Nice deep bath tub if you would like a soak. Located right across the road from the walkway down to the beach and the pier about 15-20 mins walk to pier, you might even see the local goats on the way. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Recommended a lovely cafe for lunch called Norwegian Wood, well worth a visit with lots of Beatles memorabilia. Parking on site at the hotel. Whilst we did not have breakfast it looked really good.

Was a little further from town (walking distance) than I anticipated just over 1 mile. You can however to go one of the other hotels within short walking distance for dinner.

The hotel was a great location 20 minute walk from the city center. Great view from the room over looking the sea. Very bright colourful decorations in the hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpfull

The outside area doesn't look anything like this.I also got an email after booking to say the bar and restaurant are closed. Parking charges apply and ordinarily parking is £8-10. We didnt end up paying for parking though. The room was really warm. We were on the second floor and the heat hit you as you went up the stairs. We realised that the towel heater in our bathroom was on and there didnt seem to be anyway to turn it off or turn it down. Luckily the windows open so we just slept with the window wide open

The location was incredible, right next to the beach with a pathway down to sand and beautiful hotel

The room was incredible, however could maybe do with a small makeover, just maybe a lick of paint and new carpet as it looked worn quite a lot. But none the less amazing room for the price still and would definitely come back

The lovely manager was very helpful and looking after us! Its a great location and even it looks a bit rusted from outside, its really beautifully refurbished inside, also clean and comfortable.

Even the ceiling is very high, which is lovely, we still could hear fighting couple above us.

The hotel room was lovely and clean. The double bed was huge and so comfortable, slept really well. We stayed for 4 nights and it was cleaned every day. We paid extra for breakfast which was great! Location was good, close to the beach and about a 10 minute walk to the prom. The staff were so friendly and attentive. I stayed here with my 7 year old granddaughter. We visit Bournemouth every year and have stayed in many of the hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family holiday.

Receptionist was very welcoming and informed us of local events- especially the Xmas Market in town. The room was great with a sea view. The breakfast continental style seemed plentiful. The waiter very friendly and quick to top up juice jars when they were running low.

The window glass in our room had partially blown so not a clear view and the top window would not close properly like it had come away on the right side preventing it from sealing. We popped down to the bar for a drink, barman was sat at a table but adventurely asked if we were after a drink - claimed he was sat with a friend no real issue with that. The service however was just painfully slow, 3 more people arrived and he was slow to serve them also - only 5 of us in total so dread to think what it would be like with my guests. Also only card payment taken which is frustrating. Returning to room after breakfast to find the key card no longer working 😞

The room was updated and modern. It was comfortable and clean. I was able to walk from the train and walk in to town.

The outside and the common spaces were a bit shabby. The restaurant and garden space was closed. To get to the beach, it was a bit far to the nearest stairs. When I asked to leave my bag after check out, it was placed in a room that other guests had easy access to so that didn’t feel super safe. For the price, I expect a bit more.

We loved our room big spacious TV and fridge (room 18). We think must of had an upgrade is was lovely, we did book a sea view. It had a four poster and 3 windows overlooking the sea was gorgeous. We will definitely want that room again. We liked walking to Boscombe pier in the evening. The decor of the rest of the hotel is very pretty they are not afraid of colour. Took lots of pics.

As a few have said it could do with a bit of paint and attention here and there and the carpets need attention as they are wrinkled someone could trip. But most of the sea front hotels are the same, last year we stayed at the East Cliff. Can't comment on food as we didn't eat here.

We had a good sea view thru our windows, nice to wake up with the breeze and view of the sea. The staffs are friendly and approachable. The place is exceptionally clean. Breakfast buffet is fantastic and we enjoyed it so much! Food at their restaurant bar has limited option but food being serve taste so good! Overall, I can recommend this place.

There is no step free access, hard if you have buggy, on wheelchair or mobility scooters. I just wish they have small fridge in the room, my son is on special liquid milk that needs to be kept on the fridge. Luckily, we brought small coleman with us and the receptionist was very helpful and agreed to freeze our ice packs, but before we had thought about it we have to spend money for ice cubes 4 x pack!

We had a sea view room on the 1st floor which gave us a beautiful view. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Communication before we arrived was amazing, helpful and really accomidating. The decor of the hotel and room is very nice. Room size was great. Spacious with nice high ceilings.

Nothing that would prevent me returning but a couple of things to concider. Carpet and bathroom lino could do with being renewed. Parking could be free or per stay rather than per day. Blackout blinds would be useful to block out the outside lights
