The owner and reception guy. Needed a fan as perimenopausal. They had been badly let down by cleaners, and the bathroom was disgusting, but we got moved. The tv didn't work, but they resolved it.

The dirt was thick in the bathroom. I cleaned it myself. The tiles need doing, no extractor in bathroom. The windows were painted shut. I did offer to help train the new cleaners for free as I was a Covid19 cleaner. It was that bad. Took a video, but the owner didn't ask or apologise about it even though I spent time with the receptionist and gave him a fully blackened towel that I cleaned up with.

The size of the room. It was large . I had the look out onto the pool so quiet on a night. Toiletries in sachets provided and even plastic glasses in the bathroom. It seemed clean and airy, the window left open . Staff really pleasant on arrival. Responded quickly to my messages. Asked if I could pick key up early , as was meeting a friend and didn't know what time I would be back. Replied it would be ok to pick key up. I arrived before check in to collect key and was informed my room had already been cleaned . Bonus, got to drop off my bag. Water was quite sufficient from shower . Shower easy to use. Adequate towels and loo roll. Great location. I walked from the train station . A straight walk down to the beach area. About 10 - 15 minutes depending on speed. All downhill . Uphill coming back. Bus stop directly outside . Also a nice tube like chair to sit in , was very comfortable, and a high back chair . Use of the pool ,although I did not use it ,the area seemed nice and I did see a few people in there. I did not have a cat ,but noticed free parking for residents ,others I passed charged for parking.

Not enough tea/ coffee milk . Only small cups for drinks, would have preferred a mug. Floor did creak a bit when you walked over it. Cushions on bed very lumpy and not very firm pillows. Can imagine it being hot in the height of summer ,no air conditioning, but this is mentioned in the description. No hair dryer . But then I am not one to fuss with my hair. No black out curtains. The room did look like it had been updated slightly but still had large dark furniture.

My room : 4, small double bed, was cosy and comfortable., ground floor, clean and quiet at the back of the hotel. Window could be opened slightly for fresh air at night. The bath was lovely to relax in after a day out walking. Shower also powerful and lots of hot water. The bathroom heater was a welcome bonus. Staff were all friendly, cheerful and helpful. Loved the outdoor pool.

The carpet and paintwork were a little dated but fine for me for a short stay.

The staff were helpful, we were late to check in, but we were greeted with a smile. We booked last minute for a discounted rate and were really surprised with how lovely and newly decorated our room was. We will definitely be back if visiting Bournemouth again, this was a flying visit, literally as we were flying out of Bournemouth Airport the next morning...

We didn't stay long enough to appreciate the place... It was a pit stop before going to the airport.

Every day they checked the room for fresh towels and milk tea make the beds and if they see you ask if you are OK and the outdoor pool is a bonus .

The shower is a magic trick to get to work (frustrating) the cold water tape was very weak reported the shower but didn't get fixed. The main road close by could get a bit noisy but the hotel can't help that.

Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble for them. Room change due to plumbing in toilet Water scalding hot at all times. Breakfast cooked fresh every morning disappointed no fruit but no major problem. Swimming pool may have been nice had the weather been nicer, not the hotels fault.

Toilet problems in second room but no fault of the hotel, seems to be a water pressure problem

Price was hyped up because of Pride, but Booking.com rates made it less than other comparable hotels; so, for price, Met my expectations..... .... but was pleasantly surprised, my actual stay experience exceeded expectations. Basic room and board, but bed firm, nice and comfortable for me (i have a bad back). Room clean, meeting expectation; but booking in, Go out and returning for the evening, all made very easy by Entry Code supplied to gain access at night time. Impressed with my stay and will be recommending this hotel; and would use it again should the occasion so arise.

Nothing to add here. N/A

Ideal location for a short walk (10 minutes) to the shops, restaurants, and beach. Perfectly located for us to visit our son. Rooms were dated with some minor maintenance due to age but, extremely clean and the staff were polite and professional. The variety of restaurants within easy walking distance was amazing.

The gentleman at reception was very helpful, booking an early morning taxi (4.30) for me to get to the airport on time. Plenty of tea and coffee and towels in the bathroom.

The quilt was too heavy! Maybe reduce the tog for the summer months! Some type of breakfast would have been nice, even just cold and toast etc ( I knew when I booked this was not offered) but as they had a room that could have been used it would have been good.

We stayed here during 2 sunny and hot days so we were glad we had access to the swimming pool. The location of the hotel is great, near the town centre and not far from the beach. We left the car in their parking and basically did everything by foot. The staff was kind enough to let us use their parking a few hours before our check-in. We also liked the size of the room and we had a nice view to the swimming pool.

There was no hairdryer in the room when we needed to use it, but probably our fault because we didn't check before hand. Also, not too much of a bother but the floor in the room and the door in the toilet were quite noisy.
