Leonardo Hotel Bradford - formerly Jurys Inn

Good central location a few paces from Centenary Square , albeit major roadworks seemingly taking place . Comfortable and good-sized room as expected from the Leonardo Chain. Breakfast was good and ample and the staff all very polite and helpful .

Not so much the property itself but it seems they regularly have Coach Parties staying there , which is of course absolutely fine , except that both Restaurant and Bar can get very busy as they have ‘set’ meal times both at breakfast and dinner . Seemingly this continues until around October , so if you are looking for an ‘un-busy’ stay then bear this in mind even during Mon-Fri. To compound the problem they were very very short-staffed in both restaurant and bar .

Breakfast bit disappointing - didn’t have all on the menu eg no granola either day, ran out of fresh fruit salad and yoghurt before breakfast time had ended. No tables at all set when we went down for breakfast a bit late 2nd morning but still within scheduled time. Bakery goods limited to brown/white sliced bread, bread muffins were not fresh 2nd day and pastries extended to mini croissants and mini pain au chocolate.

Breakfast not great. Couldn’t turn the Air conditioning in the room down below 17 degrees. Shower handle fell off! Very strange couldn’t pay for anything in cash only card.

Comfy bed, large room good noise insulation we didn't hear the traffic and we were on a main road, the breakfast plenty of choice excellent for the money paid , the friendly staff and the position of the hotel.

Not enough plugs in the room . None at all by the bed I could only find one other that worked other than the TV and kettle. Two of the plug sockets were for round pin plugs!. No USB points at all. The bathroom was a little bland but adequate. The chairs in the room were very worn need replacing or re covering. The lighting was a strange configuration the lamp turned off with the main light! The carpet tin the corridor gave me a strange feeling it was like looking at a barcode!

Everywhere in the hotel was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The bar area was nice and welcoming. Breakfast was well presented and a nice selection available. Great location for Alhambra Theatre.

The reception staff seemed very unhappy at check in and kept us waiting for a long period even though I'd checked in on-line prior to our arrival. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. There is a lot of construction work in the area and whilst we stayed over a weekend it might be very noisy during the working week. That said at 8am workmen were digging up the road outside which was a rude awakening on a Sunday morning and we were on the 4th floor! The breakfast was good but very crowded,unfortunately our stay coincided with a large party of rugby players, so they were very quick to fill their plates, leaving long waits for various foods to be re-stocked. The staff did their best but at times were overwhelmed.

The staff were lovely, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable!

The bathroom in my bedroom was adapted which is great but the sink was very low and therefore uncomfortable to use for teeth brushing/face washing etc. Also, the sink was far too small for the room so very hard to use and you couldn't fit the kettle under the tap to fill it up! You couldn't place your toothbrush anywhere or your toiletries as no place to do so. The chair at the desk was broken (the chair back) which made it very uncomfortable to work from.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Iona who went above and beyond when our other accommodation had fallen through. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite. Dinner was delicious and again the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. There isn't any on-site parking but we managed to get a park on the street opposite.

The welcome i got was lovely and the complementary crisps with drinks was a lovely surprise when I walked in the room with a note . The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming and made me feel very comfortable The Hotel is very convenient to everything all on the doorstep shops restaurants bars clubs . Rail and bus station right on the doorstep. I would recommend this Hotel for a stay to anyone travelling to this area.

Central location. Spacious, comfortable room with a huge comfy bed. The room was well laid out. The staff were all polite and welcoming. Excellent value for money. I have never used this hotel group before and I was very impressed, I would highly recommend it.

Nothing, it was perfect for what I wanted. There was a small issue with the hairdryer which I believe had been previously reported but not dealt with, but this was very quickly rectified by the Duty Manager.

Best in Bradford, the staff are excellent, the pricing is fair and always clean. Don't get me wrong you will find some negatives but they're very minor in comparison. Park in the NCP parking it's safer than off-street parking attendants are keen. Book your stay here...

Can't complain too much. It can be very busy. The lighting in the room isn't the best but very warm and cosy so not really negative. It's Bradford.

Perfect size room which was very comfortable. Excellent central location close to the square with a great range of pubs and restaurants. A bit disappointed that the on site bar wasn’t open at all durning our stay. Breakfast is overpriced at £14 or £12.50 if ordered earlier when you can walk a short distance to get an equal breakfast at Hal the cost.

Cost of breakfast. Bar should open more. Umbrellas for customers would be a nice touch.
