Lovely pub with rooms in the beautiful little village of Stisted. Pub is exceptional - fab decor, great food and drink. Our room was absolutely stunning - modern, clean - like our own apartment with open plan kitchen / living area, separate bedroom and shower room - all tastefully decorated in a rustic yet modern comfortable style. Hypnos mattress in the bedroom - so comfortable, best night's sleep I've had in ages. Breakfast was absolutely out of this world - so very impressed. I will definitely be back - Chelmsford holds a lot of the UK's greatest music festivals and this is a gem of a place to stay if you want something quiet and wonderful after a crazy day of partying 😊

The apartment was lovely, everything we needed was there such as an iron, hair dryer and even a fan. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, we requested a cot for the baby which was in the room when we arrived. We also paid for early check in so we could get ready for a wedding. We were only there for 1 night and I would have loved to have stayed for at least a few nights because it was so nice!I would recommend and will definitely book again if I need to stay in that area in the future.

Food was delicious! Room was spotless and had a modern feel. We both really loved our stay.

Whoever arrives first thing to open up the pub part up plays the music quite loud while they're setting up. I don’t think they realise how loud it sounds in the rooms above.

Lovely restaurant, really clean rooms and super friendly and helpful staff

The main door to get up to the rooms was very awkward, we had to put in the code about 20 times before the door would open every time. Very noisy, our room was right above the restaurant and the speakers are built in to the ceiling of the restaurant. On Sunday morning we was woken up at 9am with really loud music so didn’t sleep too great.

My stay was for one night only whilst attending a local function. The room was a nicely presented, immaculate and spacious twin which catered perfectly for my needs. The bathroom was large with a big walk-in shower (no bath). There was a tea/coffee station which I always appreciate. Although I didn't use the restaurant facilities or have breakfast, the dining area was large and inviting :)

Perhaps a little on the pricey side, this would have been more acceptable if breakfast had been included.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The atmosphere was so quaint. It felt luxurious while still being reasonably priced. Overall it was an amazing experience! The restaurant was so accomodating, and the food was delicious! We will absolutely stay here again!

The restaurant downstairs was a bit loud, but overall it did not impact our experience.

Room was decorated well & had everything you needed.beds firm & comfy how I like it . lovely shower in bathroom with nice toiletries & soft fluffy towels

No option for breakfast & nowhere-locally to go for it either . Couldn’t get on the wifi. Although room was very clean there was dust in bathroom on toilet cistern and wash basin stand.

ideal location, just outside Braintree in Essex. Perfect for a one to tonight stuff over all the facilities you require in the apartment would recommend this to anyone as is a quiet little sound, very relaxing.

this isn’t really a dislike, but as being lazy would have loved a full cooked English breakfast done by someone not ourselves :-)

Lovely accommodation and the room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable! Nice large shower and bathroom. Food in the restaurant was great.

Unfortunately, breakfast wasn't served the next morning. You rooms are not very sound proof, I could hear the person next door to me snoring!

Second time staying here and extended our stay for another evening which was kindly discounted. Rooms are always immaculate and well equipped. Bar and restaurant are very nice with good food and decor. Check in is very simple but help on hand if required.

No complaints will stay again when in area 😀
