This hotel is fabulous. I love the fact that the ground floor rooms all have a door that leads directly outside. The bed was lovely. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive, yet they seemed somehow to blend in as if they weren't there, but look and there was always a member of staff available. The room was plenty spacious enough....we even had a guest there for a couple of hours for a cuppa and a chat, a bit like having a temporary flat! The bathroom was quite grand and certainly met our needs. The people that cleaned the rooms did a perfect job every time.

There isn't anything negative worth saying. Suffice to say, if you do have any problem I am quite sure the staff would do their utmost to make it better. I didn't bother mentioning it, but, if you are from the hotel and reading this please check the kettle in room 11...it kept switching on and off again until it boiled. No big deal, but you might want to change it.

It was our anniversary of when we met 8 yesrs ago so got same suite..its a lovely old tudor type manor house. You can definitely see the history of the building.im afrsid we didnt have time to try the food drinks etc as had other stuff planned and only there one night

The suite hadnt been upgraded in 8 years to us everything was the same and now very dated, grout missing in bathroom tiles some tiles where cracked there was some black mould in the shower cubicle which csn be expected due to it being without a window, jacuzzi bath bits missing and falling off..The suite just generally needs a total upgrade to bring upto todays standards for the price of it..

The room, the garden, the breakfast all make me so happy. They were quite busy with parties & afternoon tea, and yet we were treated like we were VIPs. We ate in the comfy chairs in a room with fireplace & lovely Tudor decor, fireplace & walls. Customer service was perfect! We previously stayed in Brentwood at this hotel in Dec & found it to be fabulous. Again this time, greatly delighted by our time here.

Book afternoon tea prior to arrival. Unfortunately they were fully booked both times we stayed her (Dec & Apr); however we were able to get seating at Chantilly.

We stayed in the Brampton lodge and unexpectedly got given a very large room with a jacuzzi in the bathroom and a separate living space. It was a lovely nights sleep in a huge comfortable bed. The grounds and the rest of the property were fabulous. The staff were super helpful

Only a couple of minors. Firstly the room was incredibly hot and we had to run the aircon for a couple of hours before it cooled down. Secondly the TV in the bedroom was very small and with my bad eyesight it couldn’t really see it. And thirdly, in the living space the furniture all pointed towards the wall where a TV would be but instead it was a random free standing wardrobe. This room would definitely benefit from a reasonable sized TV in the lounge. This room would then be perfect

The member of staff on reception was very friendly and polite and we were made to feel very welcome. The building was so quaint and the rooms were beautiful. We asked about the local facilities and were given various options for what we wanted to do.

We were so pleased with the overall experience that it is difficult to say what could have gone better. The only thing I can think of is the sat nav had difficulty finding the place.

Charming venue hotel with rooms surrounding a beautiful courtyard. Excellent food both for the wedding we attended and the breakfast (excellent scrambled eggs is always a good sign). The rooms aren't massive but perfectly fine for the price. The staff were all friendly and helpful for the entire event and helped the whole thing go off without a hitch.

Hard to name anything if I'm honest. If I tried really hard to find fault then maybe the bed could have been larger given the room size we had but it was still more than comfortable. Noting in our stay stood out as bad enough to warrant as a proper complaint.

The grounds, gardens and buildings were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was incredible, the rooms were lovely and the staff were absolutely lovely and a pleasure to deal with! ☺️☺️☺️ Room facilities meant that you didn’t need to pack things like shower gel, iron, fan, hairdryer, proper towels etc etc

As a neurodiverse family, we were looking to unwind and relax here away from the hustle and bustle… by pure luck, the gardens we were hoping to enjoy in the evening were full of merry wedding guests (congratulations to the happy couple!) The kettle and hairdryer looked to be from the 1970s which was the only aspect of the stay which wasn’t 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Also the leather bound folder detailing the menus etc also contained a page on ‘local tractions’ which gave us all a good laugh 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ We will definitely stay again but I’ll be checking to see if there are any weddings/bands/conferences taking place during our stay next time 🙉🙉🙉

I have stayed in this hotel many times. the location is perfect especially for access to the motorway. All though the rooms are a bit dated they are clean & comfortable. the staff are amazing from the moment you arrive, the reception staff are welcoming & helpful, to the little Spanish gardener who took great care that we didn’t trip on his hose pipe. everyone of the staff I have always found to be polite, friendly & attentive. I have stayed in some of the most beautiful hotels around the world but this hotel always feels like I’m coming home. It has maintained many of the original features which are beautiful. I can highly recommend a stay at the Marygreen Manor

almost everything especially the staff, the location & the general ambiance of the hotel .

Ideal location on a round-Britain road trip to stop off and visit family. Kathryn the receptionist really made us feel welcome, was really helpful and made the visit worthwhile. Breakfast was civilised, after some horrendous buffet experiences and having freshly cooked breakfast was a bonus.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel, it was an absolute pleasure to stay there.

The staff were excellent and friendly. The Lounge Menu was perfect for what I wanted to eat in the evening. The availability of parking was super and welcome in comparison with just about every other Brentwood hotel that has none.

My room was a garden room, and I couldn't sleep at all because there were powerful bright lights outside in the garden all night.
