Greenwoods is a lovely building in a lovely location. The spa is very calm and the gym facilities looked pretty good (I didn't use them as I was too busy chilling)! My room was nice, a good size and clean. I used the restaurant in the evening which was really nice! The staff were very welcoming.

My room was too hot throughout my stay! I didn't feel they took advantage of the beautiful outside space - the spa only had access to a tiny concrete courtyard and the cafe didn't seem to have outside seating. My main disappointment was that I like to enjoy a hot drink while reading my book in a spa. At Greenwoods the cafe is across the hotel from the spa and there didn't seem to be a way to make having a hot drink in the spa feasible.

From the moment we arrived the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. We went to our room which had amazing decor but the cleanliness of the room and bathroom where outstanding. the room was spacious and just the right tempreture with no adjustments. The bed wash was super comfortable and felt very fresh. The breakfast was super fresh and hot so many hotels have over cooked breakfast but not Greenwoods. What a place i would recommend to anyone.

Room was lovely, bed was very comfy. Room had a very nice view of the grounds. Melanie in the spa was absolutely amazing and I had such a nice treatment done by her.

Overall I didn’t find it to be that clean, some dirt in the pool and grime on the surrounding floor areas. Cleanliness could definitely do with some improvement& you are unable to get through on the phone so have to email your spa treatments to be able to get booked in. Food was good but quite expensive for what it is, a few local pubs that have nice food nearby however.

From the reception at check in, through the stay and even at checkout it was an incredibly relaxed stay, with friendly and helpful staff. Food was outstanding, and the leisure facilities excellent - particularly liked the size of the pool.

I ate in the main restaurant every night because the selection on the Lounge Bar menu could have been a bit greater. As someone who is trying to lose a bit of weight, it would have helped to have some wider options that were not chips and burgers

Staff were helpful and friendly. The gym is fantastic. The spa was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable with a great array of amenities. The building and grounds were beautiful.

The only thing I can say is I let them know in advance we were attending for our anniversary and we didn’t get a note or anything to acknowledge this. Had that of been acknowledged I would’ve rated 10/10.

The Gym is Fantastic for a hotel gym. and lovely facilities, sauna, steam room and Pool. The room was large with plenty of room to move about and the TV had great signal.

The room was a tad noisy from Road noise, this only bothered me as I'm not used to it at home could of done with some extra try of panelling on the window to prevent this Room 35

I loved the the staff and the layout of the hotel was traditionally done which gave me 17th century tudor vibes.the restaurant and the food was incredible considering that it was included in the hotel price. So in all the stay was very very accommodating.

The fact that there was no toothpaste in the room and that it was two singles made into a double bed. But apart from that it was lovely.

Spa was very busy - pool had lots of people in it, no loungers to sit on as full. Clearly popular which is a good thing, however prefer quieter spa experience for relaxation. I'll go down at 7am next time I stay!

Everything was great. We had a fabulous time. The room, the staff, the bar, the location and particularly the Spa. It really was better than we'd hoped. We cannot wait to go again.

It really was all good

Breakfast was very good. Staff in general are great; professional and friendly. Everyone seems to smile!
