The room was a fantastic size for two adults and a toddler. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable! Location wise, it was accessible both from the north and south, with a stone-throw to a local services with takeaways and basic shopping facilities. About two miles south Bridgwater town centre, with a selection of supermarkets and other amenities. Despite being on a main road, and above a pub on the Friday of a bank Holiday weekend, the room was peaceful and quiet, even with the windows open! The room was spotless, with a generous selection of teas, coffees, etc, as well as a well-placed bracket for the hairdryer to sit in. The price was brilliant, given the location, facilities, late booking and the bank holiday weekend. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay at a decent price.

The bathroom could do with some refurbishment, there was some grime on the ceiling and in the shower, and the shower bracket was coming loose from the wall.

Lovely clean room and ensuite. King sized bed, which was clean and very comfy. The breakfast was quickly delivered in the charming restaurant, as was our delicious evening meal. Staff friendly and welcoming. Good, big car park which was well lit. There is outdoor seating, dog friendly - loved that there were free doggy biscuits on the bar, and many birds in the surrounding hedges. Close to the motorway exit, this was a good choice for where we were visiting. Charming building inside and out.

No problems for us. Lovely place to stay, and we would stay there again.

Location and parking were good. Lunch was very good value for money - decent size portions. Room was a good size too and very quiet. Bed very big and comfortable.

Bathroom layout a bit cramped. Toilet almost in the shower and not easy to get to. Decor a bit tired in places, notably the skirting boards. Window pane in our room also blown and had been that way for months. Breakfast was a bit haphazard in the morning and noted that the floor had not been cleaned at all - food debris under tables, on the carpet and it all looked like it needed a thorough clean. I know it can't be easy keeping a large pub clean with constant customers etc but this was a noticeable point.

great location for my conference early the next day and easy to find and check in. Very friendly and helpful staff, definitely make you feel at home/like a local. My room was big and comfortable and the room was still nice and dark in the morning so good curtains. i did end up putting ear plugs in as could hear someone coughing in another room very clearly - hotel can’t help that unless they sound proofed rooms more.

a little noisy being by the main road so the windows could be improved water from cold tap wasn’t particularly cold, more luke warm and no remote for tv (I didn’t watch it much but might bother others)

Looking for a place that was near the area I was going to as I'm new in town, so I booked not knowing what to expect. But I can say I'm glad I did. The bed was sooooo comfy, nice toilet, more than enough floor space in the room and toilet. And the bonus for me was the fan. We all know what the UK summer feels like, so the fan being in the room is such a great thing which by the way I wasn't expecting since I've only booked hotels before

We booked the family room as an overnight stop on a long drive and it was very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable.

The bathroom was awkward for showering our toddler as the shower can only be switched on once the doors are closed, otherwise the shower head that can’t be adjusted will spray out directly into the bathroom. This meant I had to shower at the same time as my toddler. The only downside!

Friendly welcoming staff. Large, clean and comfortable bed. No noise from other guests. Decent shower. Good selection of hot drinks on the room.

Noise from passing traffic as it is located next to a busy road. Weather was very hot and the fan in the room didn't make an impact as the room was so big. Neither of these things were under the control of the staff, they left windows open before I checked in to try to cool the room down.

I liked the room itself, it was a good sized room and it had everything needed. The TV was decent, and it was pretty quiet so easy to sleep. The bed itself was pretty comfy. The bathroom was very clean and looked nice.

The restaurant, it wasn't bad as a whole, the food once we did manage to get it was so good but the service wasn't the best. The app is pointless and doesn't work. And they hardly had anything on the menu. By the time we got our food it was like more than an hour from the time we booked our table. The staff were very nice I can't fault that, just service is kinda poor. Also wish there was more lights in the room, or brighter ones. Maybe soaps and stuff could be supplied. The stairs to the exit door is very very very loud and so going out at night was a hard job to not wake everyone up. Through the night all I heard was the stairs.

The food that we had was very good. We didnt have breakfast as we are not used to having breakfast. The room was good with plenty of lighting

The only thing that let the room down a little bit was only one chair in the room, so when theres 2 people to a room, one has to sit on the bed which wasn't so comfortable. The shower door that opens up against the wash hand basin was a bit of a squeeze, unless you are a skinny person !!

The hotel is conveniently located next to the M5. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and cosy, the bed super comfy. Bathroom ok, with excellent shower and plenty of hot water. Really enjoyed breakfast (poached eggs cooked to perfection!). There’s a good atmosphere at Admiral’s Table and we would definitely stay again.

There was traffic noise, however that didn’t stop us getting a good night’s sleep!
