Nevermind "with view of the garden" - the room had a spectacular view across the valley, albeit through a small cottage window. Pam was lovely and couldn't do enough to meet my requirements. Breakfast was top quality. Close to Barton, which in turn is reasonably close to Scunthorpe, Hull & Grimsby/Cleethorpes. There's a lovely country walk right on the doorstep.

Slight lack of attention to detail - previous guest had overflowed the kettle which sat in a drip tray - kettle had languished in this puddle for a little while. Bathroom blind, while up, was thick with dust.

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. A real pleasure to have had the opportunity to share such a lovely home. Strong, reliable wi-fi signal meant I could get some work done without interruption. As a motorcyclist, I also enjoyed some amazing roads on the way there and on my onward journey in the morning !!

The weather had turned a little cool when I visited and I wasn't sure how to put some heat on in my room. I would also have preferred real milk, rather than UHT, and some decaf coffee and tea would also have been welcome in the room.

My stay at West Wold Farm House was so restful. Just what I needed. The farm house is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is full of charm. My room, with ensuite, was lovely; spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Pam is a wonderful lady. She was extremely caring and thoughtful and the breakfasts she cooked for me were delicious. Truly, I didn't want to leave. Thank you so much Pam for looking after me. I really appreciated your kindness 💛 .

I loved everything.

The breakfast was brilliant. Pam catered for our every needs. A great selection of cereals, fresh fruit and a lovely cooked traditional English breakfast. It was lovely to have real china and silver cutlery. Plus Pam’s homemade Marmalade.Pam was a wonderful hostess and owner nothing was too much trouble and a mindful of local history. We cannot thank her enough for making our stay memorable.

West Wold was perfect for our needs. Our room was really comfortable and clean and looked out onto open fields. I am coeliac and the gluten free breakfast was great, the owner has a friend who is coeliac so understands needs. Fresh fruit and full English with toast gratefully received! Pam was welcoming and we felt well taken care of.

So homely and comfortable. Immaculately clean , everything you need is there . Good parking. Really amazing breakfast with great choices, excellent quality food. The stay was particularly special due to our host Pam who made us feel so welcome and was amazing with my Grandson Frankie who said he would like to move in ! Thanks again Pam x

No concerns at all.

The owner was so lovely and welcoming. She was quick to help when we were having issue's with our bike. The whole b&b was exceptional. The room was beautiful and clean and had great views from our room. Breakfast was amazing each day, she was so accommodating. Can't wait to return again next year. Thank you so much x

The room was comfortable and very clean; more home than guest house. Accessibility was excellent. Breakfast was as good as 5 star hotel. Overall I couldn't have picked a better overnight place. The owner, Pam was available but never intrusive. This quiet place is a hidden gem and I would recommend it without reservation.

I apsoluley love the location it's my favourite place quite lovely walk wildlife friendly folks . Owner is wonderful. Extremely helpful and chatty. Thankyou for your help while I was there with pip my little Jack Russell. Feels homely breakfast is perfect

Not a dislike as such, but it's worth being aware that West Wold Farm House is two and a bit miles out of Barton upon Humber. No problem if you've got transport, but don't expect to be able to walk to a restaurant.
