The location of Toppesfield is just perfect for those that wish to visit Bude and neighbouring towns. The B&B is located off a main road - perfect. And! 5min walk to a local cinema too. Easy to find too. Parking available which is a blessing. The room was spotlessly clean, bright and welcoming. The shower... well you'll want to live in it. Breakfast, you decide daily on want you want and there is a delightful choice. The hosts were professional, funny and have obviously being doing this for sometime. What a wonderful couple. Canopied mini garden! Thanks for hosting us! We loved it.

We cannot fault Toppesfield at all.

First of all the hosts are fantastic. The place is clean, the room spacious and welcoming. The are parking spaces available and when you get there you feel like you can relax. Everything was perfect and my wife and I were very happy to stay and to know the hosts. The location is very close to Bude and well connected with the A39, it's silent and you can get good rest if you need it. We look forward to going back there in Cornwall.

The b&b was just lovely, Karen and Paul were warm and welcoming and they had Knowledge of the local areas and where the best places to eat. The room we were in was lovely decorated and very clean have never stayed in a b&b before but I am so glad my wife found this one to book, we will be back it was a great base to travel from many of the local attractions wasnt too far from toppesfield house.

Large and clean rooms, with very comfortable beds, fridge, smart TV etc. and even a veranda so you can sit outside if you want. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Hospitality with a capital H! Located only a few miles from the beach at Widemouth Bay and the town of Bude. Many other places worth visiting within driving distance. Large choice of very good breakfasts. We stayed here with our two 20 year old sons, and had a great time!

Karen and Paul are the perfect hosts! We had such a lovely stay here. The room was really modern, clean and cosy. Every little touch had been thought of, particularly loved the dressing gown and slippers. The breakfast was also delicious. Karen gave us loads of great tips about the area too which were helpful for our stay. The bed was so comfy, my partner now wants to purchase the same mattress for our bed at home! I will be recommending this place to my family and friends for future trips :)

The breakfast was very good. Well cooked, plenty of choice and fresh. There was cereal, yogurt, juice, fresh tea and coffee, a choice of cooked breakfast plus toast and croissants. The only thing it might be worth noting is there were no specific vegan options.

There was nothing specific about the B&B that we disliked, it was excellent. The only thing that might be worth noting is that you would need a car for the location as it is a little outside of town and the restaurants are a little outside of walking distance in the evening.

Our hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location was very convenient for touring the north Cornwall coast, and the B & B itself was very easily accessed from the A46. There was easy parking and the guest rooms had there own entrance at ground level. The decor was very attractive. The breakfast cooked to order was excellent.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay! Karen and Paul were amazing hosts. The room was a great size, very clean with plenty of storage. Breakfast was great, delicious food with plenty of options. This is a lovely B&B which we would highly recommend.

There was honestly nothing we could fault with the place, everything was great!

We loved everything! The first thing i commented on was, how I thought it looked "Just like the photo's" Stunning room with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in on holiday! The egyptian cotton bedding was very cosy. We had a lovely little terrace with a gorgeous view, which included cows and also bunny rabbits running around on the field in the early evening. The bathroom was a really nice size with a powerful rain shower . Lovely fluffy white towels, slippers and dressing gown were also supplied. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were great, including a nespresso machine and also water which was topped up daily in the fridge . Fresh milk was also included daily and even a chocolate biscuit! The owners Karen and Paul were the perfect hosts! Always there if you needed them and happy to help with any questions you may have about places to visit etc. They were extremely polite, hospitable and professional and we really enjoyed our chats at breakfast time. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly cooked by Karen each morning. My husband absolutely loved the Full English and I really enjoyed my smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Plenty of choice on the menu. We have had the most wonderful stay at Toppesfield House and hope to come back again one day in the near future.

Over an eight day period we stayed in seven B&Bs ( including two hotels.) Toppesfield House was the best of them all. The facilities are like a 5 Star Hotel. The room was great with an exceptional bathroom. We even had our own private roofed veranda. Breakfast was really good and also offered a fish optional alternative as opposed to the usual "full English." This was the only B&B we stayed in which provided this choice. The hosts are welcoming, genuine and friendly, and committed to providing an outstanding service. There's a lot to see around there. We visited Tintagel, Boscastle and Widemouth Bay. There is also the Rebel Cinema a short walk away. The pricing is good value. We paid a similar amount for other B&Bs and they weren't as good.

There's no real negatives. There might not be a "walkable to" pub, but the hosts don't mind if you bring food in, and they will even provide plates. They'll even drop you off and pick you up from local eateries.
