We really enjoyed our 4 night stay in the budget double room. Cosy and comfortable. Lovely hot shower. We had breakfast in the garden room each morning which was delicious, on the final day they were kind enough to provide a breakfast sandwich and filled my travel mug with tea to takeaway as we were leaving early which was a very nice touch. We had the Sunday carvery and two further meals which were all excellent. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. Family friendly, clean facilities. All staff were friendly and approachable. And the views were exceptional. 😁

Slow WiFi, kept kicking you off but we weren't there for that.

Very easy to find. I booked a single room with a balcony overlooking the garden. This gave me a lovely side sea view. It's an old building with many original features. Parking seemed plentiful. Staff were welcoming. Busy restaurant and pub with a varied menu. Lots of hot water.

My bed was too soft, it's a personal thing. Breakfast isn't available until 8am. The coffee isn't very nice. I ended up taking my own ketchup and marmalade down to breakfast. The TV in my room was impossible to watch while in bed, or on the chair. It was fastened to the wall near the ceiling.

Set away from the rest of the village high up the hill - hence the superb views from the terrace. Small clean ensuite rooms with super comfortable beds and decent wifi connection, friendly and efficient staff and good range of bar food. There is a bus stop right outside for connections north to Bude and south to Boscastle. For those doing the south west coastal path there is a track veering straight to the hotel from the cliff top.

The limited breakfast menu was straight out of the 1970's - probably best to head to one of the beach cafes to save money and have something which wasn't fried - the coffee was refreshingly appalling.

WM was our last stay on our Cornish Adventure, and we could not have asked for a better ending. WM welcomed us with open arms and provided us with flexible accommodation, great drinks and amazing food in the evening, overlooking the sea and we found ourselves drifting into the sunset with the magical view this place provides. Beds and rooms were superb. Food was plentiful and tasty, fresh Sea bass, Tennessee chicken bursting with flavor and you must try the local specialty if you can - the RIBS!!! A heartfelt thank you WM for just being who you are and giving us this experience and sanctuary after some staying-experiences which had downed our spirits a bit. Would have loved to stayed longer and use WM as a base of exploration, but maybe next time :-)

Convenient for purpose of visit. We were attending a function there. Most of the staff were spot on, helpful and friendly. The setting of property, and recent refurbishment makes for a great stay. Rooms vary, and is reflected in pricing. Enjoyed a pleasant dinner, and breakfast.

The lesser rooms are adequate, but bed width could be 6” wider as our room could accommodate it. We had dinner, party of 7, had quite a wait for meal after ordering. Evening staff in upstairs lounge fell short: slow to serve, coffee tepid, pot of tea filled only half a cup. Attitude was disappointing. Guests were told to clear area, with lights being turned-up to make point, before we were ready to retire.

Amazing location, loved how we could get to where we needed to go. Staff were above and beyond to make the stay Perfect. A lot of areas in the property to sit and relax with the family if staying.

Hard to say this but we turned up and at £342 for 2 nights, the room when entered really smelled of sewage. The owners/staff rapidly sorted it and was fixed. Sadly when we left Sunday, the problem was back. NOT a criticism as I’m sure it’s something they have to deal with given the weather. But at £171 a night I expected better.

Very nicely decorated ensuite bedroom. Friendly, helpful staff, bar resturant and outside area all looked well maintained. Also very good value. Was only there to sleep overnight after going to an event at The Wyldes so can't really comment further.

Nothing to dislike that l could see. I was only there a short time so l can only go on first impressions. I liked what l saw and would definitely stay again. However l couldn't book in to my room until 3.30 but l was allowed to pick up the key at 2.30 to enable me to go to my event which started at 3pm

Lovely hotel/restaurant with wonderful views across the bay and countryside. Very comfortable accommodation. Exceptional staff, very friendly and could not do enough for you. Food was very good with a main menu of favourite meals plus a range of special meals, these included 3 fish dishes, a curry and meat dish. Desserts looked very good, but we never got to try them as the portions were generous. We returned yesterday and have already rebooked for New Year 2023.

The cooked breakfast was lovely but I would have liked a bit of cereal or extra toast I think I could have had them at an extra cost I was allowed to bring my own cereal in

The staff were brilliant, they were so helpful and accommodating. The hotel and grounds were lovely and the views amazing. . Would certainly recommend and stay again

A couple of things I ate were a little overdone and the mirror in my room was not in the best place lighting wise.
