The breakfast was superb. The bacon and sausages were from home reared pigs and the eggs were from the host's own chickens. I can honestly say that the bacon and sausages were the best that I've ever tasted. I was the only guest for the period of my stay and the family couldn't have been more welcoming. Jane was my host and she took time out to chat to me over breakfast and from day 2 had a glass of orange juice ready and waiting for my arrival.

There was nothing that I didn't like. This was a B&B stay in someone's home and everything had the personal touch.

Host Jane engaged with us on arrival with a friendly and homely welcome. We were taken to a really comfortable room with all facilities, looking on to the garden where we could see the animals in her care. Breakfast to a high standard The Bed was comfortable and Jane proved to be interesting and knowledgeable about the area .It was especially lovely to meet all the animals and the two super Dogs. Highly recommend and will return soon

We had a great stay at Claw House. It's a beautiful property in a lovely location. Jane was very friendly and cooked a delicious breakfast on both mornings. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend to friends & stay again when in the area.

Full breakfast with home produced bacon, sausages, eggs, jam and marmalade: exemplifying hosts’ farming principles….all, tasty! Location beautiful with fascinating insights into principled and successful rural living. Our welcome and contacts throughout the stay, were so thoughtful; responding generously to our interest in the farm and its characterful residents.Must not omit the amazing welcome fruit loaf…..

Cannot think of any negatives.

The house and garden were beautiful, and my room was huge, lovely, and had everything I needed. Jane and Darran were wonderful hosts - really warm, welcoming, and keen to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I had the best sleep I've had in years there and was really quite sad to leave. I would highly recommend.

Excellent comfortable accommodation and very nice breakfast. Superb eggs and tomatoes from owners own hens and vegetable garden. Nice view of the garden from the room and above all a very friendly and welcoming owner Jane.

The breakfast was good, the location was excellent. Nice, thick towels and good to have flannels provided too. The room was lovely and warm. And massive. Lots of coat hangers. Fresh milk provided plus decaff coffee. Fantastic sleep due to marvellous matress.

The family were going through a tough time - a relative terminally ill in hospital. This meant that we felt a little bit in the way. The hostess was very nice but seemed to be "going through the motions". I think she had too much on her plate at this sad time.

Superb hosts. Made us feel welcome on arrival and all through our stay. Breakfast was very good. Room was lovely with garden view. Could not fault anything.

Beautiful house in a pretty, quiet, rural village location. Jane was lovely and couldn't do too much for us. She was very friendly and chatty and even indulged my new scuba diving hobby (turns out she is an experienced diver with lots of good advice). Breakfast was delicious, and freshly prepared when we went downstairs. We can't wait to stay again.

The only downside is that we didn't book to stay longer.

Excellent host, made to feel extremely welcome, beautiful gardens, delicious breakfast with local produce. Definitely stay again.
