I have just got back from a wonderful weekend in Cornwall, attending my goddaughter’s wedding. I have to say that staying at Bosvean House was a pleasure. Charley and Carl were so welcoming and friendly, I felt really at home very quickly. It was in a lovely location, unfortunately wasn’t able to spend time in the gardens due to rain, but it has a summer house which I would love to explore on a return stay. My room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were amazing, so much choice! Thank you for helping in making my weekend away absolutely perfect. Can’t recommend highly enough and would go back in a heartbeat.

The host were very friendly , welcoming, friendly and attentive to all our needs . They made us feel very relaxed and offered their valuable knowledge on local sites if interest and places to visit. The breakfast was excellent and varied to all the needs of the guests . We will be definitely be going back when we’re down next .

Everything was amazing - the owners were so lovely, the breakfast every day was delicious, the whole b&b and our room were spotlessly clean - we have really high standards for this and were so happy with the level of cleanliness. Also the views surrounding the property were amazing!

Everything was amazing, only the bed was a bit too small for us but that's just because we are used to a big bed at home.

We had a superb stay. The rooms were spacious, the towels were lovely and large with a hot shower. Breakfast came with a good choice, food was high standard and executed well. Eggs from their own chickens! The guest lounge was massive, comfortable and as the rest of the house well decorated and homely which invited you in. They also had a guest "outdoor living area" which was made up of summer house with bar and radio, undercover decking and barbecue area for your use. All facing west and overlooking the fields. Easy access to the A39 making it a good hunting ground with something for everyone to do, see or relax. This is a family run B&B and could not wish for better hosts. We well definitely book again.

Wow, what a find! This is a gorgeous little B&B nestled back away from the main road in Bush, just a smidgen outside Bude. Holly, Colin and Charlie are absolutely wonderful hosts and we were given a very warm and friendly welcome and they always stopped to chat during our stay. We stayed for two nights in room 2 which is a twin bed / super king sized bedroom. The room is large and beautifully and tastefully decorated / furnished, with a window that overlooks the surrounding countryside. The beds are outrageously comfortable. There is a kettle and tea /coffee making facilities in all the rooms. Room 2 has a decent size en-suite bathroom with a toilet sink and shower - all immaculately clean and very well equipped with complimentary toiletries. There is a gorgeous guest lounge downstairs, with a big TV and DVD player as well as DVDs, books and games you can borrow during your visit. The dining room is communal with a large farmhouse table for breakfast, which is a choice of continental, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and cooked options. They also cater for (and understand) gluten free, which is a godsend - Holly went out of her way to make me a batch of GF muffins so that I had the full choice for breakfast - nothing is too much trouble and the food is amazing. Outside there is a summerhouse and outside seating - as well as a bbq for guests to use, all with picturesque views. Overall I’d give it 11/10 - we are absolutely staying here again next time we’re ini the area - I can’t recommend it highly enough

There’s nothing not to like - it’s all fab

We needed a B&B close to certain amenities, and Bosvean House came up. Located down a bridal path and nicely tucked away from the world was a lovey looking home. So close to Bude for beach access and far enough away for peace and quiet at night. Holly, Colin and Charlie made us feel so welcome and spoke about this being our home for the weekend, which was a lovely touch. The House is beautifully decorated with little trinkets to make it very eclectic and chic. The main house has three bedrooms, we stayed in room 2 which was 2 single beds and a private shower and toilet. The view was amazing, overlooking farmland, where we saw wild rabbits and cows. We arrived late on the Friday and after Charlie welcomed us, showed us to our room with fresh milk for the our tea and coffee we dipped into Bude for a quick curry then back to the house to rest up. The beds were so luxurious and comfy it was hard to get up in the morning. But Colin (Charlie's dad) makes a wicked breakfast so wasn't hard to get ourselves up and ready at the dining table. There was fresh fruit and Yogurt, Croissants, Museli and cereal, plus a range of cooked breakfasts including smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. All cooked to perfection and a very hearty size. We did not need to eat again until the evening. After our full day out we came back with some food and set ourselves up on the balcony patio area, where we watched the sun set and relaxed on comfy Ratan furniture with chunky warm blankets. Watching the chickens run around the horses in the next field playing. It was a lovely way to spend our last evening. The following morning after a restful sleep we had our breakfast and said our goodbyes to a lovely family, but not before booking a long weekend to go back again. Could not fault this B&B at all. Not having a longer stay.

We loved the whole experience, what an amazing house and the owners were so nice. Such a friendly atmosphere and the summer house was a lovely chilled out space for relaxing with a glass of wine and good company. Loved the whole 3 days we were there and would return in a heartbeat.

Nothing, it was just perfect.

Peaceful location, lovely hosts, great breakfast. It is out of Bude , but so wonderful to drive up the bridleway after a busy day and sit on the deck of the summerhouse to unwind. Hosts can't do enough for you.

You had to drive to restaurants mostly but only 10 minutes. A couple of pubs in walking distance but we couldn't get in.

Made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Lovely room, quiet location but not far from lots of interesting places to visit. Amenities were excellent with use of other rooms to relax in and could use the garden also. Breakfast choices were great, lovely cooked food and nothing was too much trouble to provide, catering for all dietary requirements.

We liked the friendly and approachable hosts, the spaces available to sit downstairs and outside with garden furniture & facilities including fridge. The breakfast choice was excellent, including eggs from home chickens, all perfectly cooked by Colin. The room had fresh milk, a pleasing change from plastic cartons!

The access off the main road up the bridle track was a bit tricky but manageable
