Very friendly efficient staff. Hotel & hotel room welcoming, clean and modern. Breakfast was delicious and the carpark was spacious... they were both included in the price! Great location, City centre near by. We both enjoyed our stay.

The plates used for breakfast were way too small and I hate going up twice! I can totally understand why the hotel use this size though, as it cuts down on waste. The good thing is... it all tasted absolutely lovely & you can go back up to refill x

Location for Arboretum, Clean Hotel and Room, Staff very Helpful, Great Breakfast lovely Food. Restaurant and Pub 5mins Away. We all Had a Very Pleasant Stay, and My Dog was Welcomed Too .

ITS not what I didn't like it was just a Observation at Breakfast The Table and Seating Area Could have been Better, only because I had a Dog, We Like to Sit at a Table Not on a high Stool Breakfast Bar or Comfy Chair bending down on a low table, otherwise everything else was Fine.

A warm welcome at the front desk which is always a good start. Car parking is spacious. The room and decor is excellent for the hotel class and we were amazed at how clean the room's were, spotless even. Not the biggest room spaces but it definitely makes up in cleanliness. Breakfast was standard with regular top ups of food.

The location isn't the best, although there is other shops nearby. I wasn't aware of the £3 surcharge for the car park.

Staff friendly. Clean throughout hotel. Breakfast on the good side had fresh fruit (bad side see comments on what I didn't like).

Breakfast was not good! For fried bacon there was more fat than meat. Sausages only cooked on 1 side. No other items for normal English fry. Coffee machine worst I had! Bathroom staining in sink and wc. For a hotel that makes a point of its recent revamp, simply chemical cleaning would have prevented the staining

It was very clean, staff very friendly, room was nice although a little small.

Breakfast area was too small for the amount of people there, could be a bigger selection also the sausage and bacon etc. To be topped up more/quicker, a couple of times I went up to get something to eat and the bowls were empty. Also the juice - orange and apple were horrible, as though they had been watered down.

Don't book through booking.com they have been a nightmare. Took payment in full for the booking then did the same amount account as pre authorisation. They blamed it on the hotel when I queried it but the hotel did not pre authorise anything. My issue still isn't resolved and the customer service has been shocking.

Lovely clean room and bathroom, great breakfast, quiet location. Staff all very friendly and always to hand. Some food served 24hrs and was reasonably priced. Bed was HUGE (I think it was 2 put together) and pretty comfy. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Shower was a bit feeble but I guess they are saving energy by not having full powered spray. It served a purpose so all good.

Housekeeping and front desk staff were exceptional... Buffet breakfast was tasty and did the trick. Busy periods were handled well overall... There was even a Quiz Night for charity.

Tables at breakfast and in the lounge area weren't cleared and cleaned in a timely manner, on occasion...

Paying for parking, alsoBooking.com sent me an email advising of attractions to visit but they were all in Birmingham which is about 30 miles away about an hour's drive. We booked to visit family and went to the national memorial arboretum at Alrewas. Why wasn't it offering more local attractions.

The room was well presented, very clean and tidy. The staff were very professional and courteous. I was very pleased. Cleaning staff, evening staff, night manager, and brakefast staff were all very polite, made eye contact and smiled. Could our stay have been better? I can’t think how!!

I’m thinking really hard, the only thing that wasn’t good was the weather. Can you try to improv that? 😉
