The staff, especially Jack on arrival at the front desk (would put a smile on anyones face!!) were so nice and accomdating nad helped with any queries I had. Very genuine. Honestly when I booked I did not expect the hotel and the room to be as good as it was. Bedroom was really clean, the best was SUPER comfy and they also go to effort by putting a fan in for during the night! One downside, and this is if I have to really really look for one was, the shower was a bit small but other than that probably the best stay I have had in a hotel in a long long time.

Shower was a bit small but that is me really trying to find fault.

Conveniently located very close to train station and walking distance from town centre, with other shops and eateries much closer. Friendly and helpful staff. Well presented interior. Clean, comfortable room with ability to control room temperature, TV and kettle etc. and well presented bathroom.

Being so close to train station (you can see the tracks out the window), noise could be an issue. On that note, I can't imagine there being a pleasant view possible out of any window in this hotel given its location, but obviously I can't verify that. It also looks a bit shabby from the outside, could do with some restoration I think. The starchy towels will exfoliate much of your skin... I'd bring your own.

Warm welcome from Claire in reception. Everything's fine for an overnight stay. Clean room, comfortable beds, bathroom include shower and hand wash units, extra towels & pillows.

The extractor did not engage when the bathroom was in use. We came to the conclusion that this may be connected to the shower. No, broken. This was reported to Claire at checkout. It would be nice to introduce a night light in the bathroom, so not to disturb others throughout the night. There is possibly the option.

Big rooms, better than other Ibis Budgets. Actually has carpet and a full en suite rather than the usual hard floor and shower and sink next to the bath. We booked the family room which at other Ibis Budget hotels is a bunk bed over the double. This one has a double and a single bed separately and still had plenty of space. Breakfast was decent enough and had a good selection too.

The shower was cold and wouldn’t warm up above luke warm.

Gorgeous converted building, with a welcoming reception team. Rooms are a good size and although basic remain very comfortable, clean and in good condition. Car parking on site is easy and the location is fairly quiet too so none of the disruption you can sometimes get with people coming and going at different times. I didnt use the breakfast area but it looked very welcoming

Would benefit from plug socket next to the bed

Not a luxury hotel, but it is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Good sized rooms. Perfect for what we needed. Staff were very friendly and very helpful, especially the guy who checked us in ( didn't get his name). He gave us recommendations for restaurants and pubs nearby. Lovely guy. Would stay here again.

Not in the best area, but fine for what we needed.

The staff were very friendly, and it was nice to have someone at the desk when we arrived to check in. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The company managing the parking, but this had nothing to do with the hotel.

Hotel is in historic grain warehouse that has been repurposed. The room was comfortable and quiet in spite of overlooking the car park (even on Saturday the car park wasn't busy). The staff were friendly and welcoming and dealt with a minor problem in the room quickly. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Burton station so I could use the train rather than drive and was able to enjoy the terrific real ale pub (the Weighbridge) in the out buildings immediately by the pub. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the cooked items were fresh and hot. The coffee was good. I would stay here again.

I couldn't turn the TV on which may have been a problem with the remote and the plug got stuck in the hand basin (just one of those things). I told the supervisor in reception and she immediately asked one of the housekeeping staff to deal with it. So sorted!

We liked the fact it was a central location as on the Friday night when we arrived we wanted to be within walking distance of the town for pubs and an Indian. We were at a wedding the 2nd day and was close to The Brewery where it was being held. The parking was great just £3.00 a day and plenty of space. It is an old converted building which we liked. Also, a special shout out to Claire on reception. She was great, very friendly and helped us out with a room we had booked for friends on the Saturday as they required an earlier check in to get ready for the wedding. She was so helpful throughout our stay. Also, the lady on breakfast each day was lovely - apologies I didn't get her name. Lovely stay. We were concerned it said budget but don't let that put you off as it has everything you need with great staff to make you feel welcome. Also, the bed was really comfy we both slept well. We would stay again if ever in the area.

Nothing it was all good.

There is nothing you need to improve, staff are great. The room was excellent and maybe increase the channels on the TVs and more coffee in the room
