Jan, the host was amazingly friendly and helpful. Rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable, and equipped with all essentials. It was a lovely surprise to be upgraded on arrival and also to find a bottle of wine waiting for us. Wonderful stay.

This exceptional gem was a perfect place from which to explore the beauty of this area of Wales. Great location, within the walls surrounding the town and Castle. Welsh Heritage Railway a 12 minute walk from the house offers scenic steam train journeys through the Snowdonia National Park. Victoria House is beautifully furnished in a period style in keeping with its Grade 2 listing each room has its own unique charm. We had a delightful stay here and will definitely return.

I recently stayed at Victoria House and it was an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. Jan and her team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room with the sea view was simply stunning that made my stay even more special. What really set this stay apart was the fact that I could bring my dog along with me. Finding a hotel that not only allows pets but also makes them feel welcome is a rare treat. This thoughtful touch was truly the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience. Thank you to Jan and her team for their exceptional hospitality. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

We stayed overnight as we were attending an event in Caernarvon in the evening. The accommodation, the locality and the room's comfort were excellent. From the moment I'd booked, Victoria house had got in touch, offering hospitality and giving us both directions and helpful suggestions to questions I'd asked. A good and comfortable stay and I would not hesitate to re-book when we visit Caernarvon, hopefully later this year. Also, a good night's sleep for us both and comfortable bed ! Thank you very much, Victoria house, for your kind hospitality.

The room was lovely, with four poster bed, with period furniture. Well equipped with microwave and fridge with fresh milk rather the the pots of UHT. Nice touches, such as Portmeirion crockery. Jan was very friendly and helpful, pointing out places to eat and parking if it wasn't possible on the street outside the property.

Don't really know what to say, other than we couldn't fault the property or the proprietor. Parking was a little awkward as it's on a narrow one way street. Managed a space when we arrived, but returning after visiting an attraction, no spaces were available. Jan's suggested free parking spaces near the harbour which was only a five minute walk from the property. Other than that a pleasant experience which we hope to repeat.

I booked at stay at Victoria House as an anniversary surprise for my fiancée. Everything was perfect from the start, Jan answered the door and was immediately welcoming. She showed us to our room and told us about the facilities as well as providing information about the town (it was our first visit). As a host, she was friendly, informative and couldn’t do enough. The room itself was perfect - comfortable and classy - for a truly unique style that doesn’t let you forget that you are staying within castle walls! We stayed in the room with the jet bath and it was so relaxing. Plenty of tea and coffee provided We would definitely recommend a stay and we knew before the end of ours that we would want to come back

The place was central, the host , Jan, really knows how to treat guests! We were well looked after, the place was spotless and impeccable! We appreciated the little treats (some local biscuits,candles,milk and water, local beer etc) as not many hosts do these things anymore. Jan arranged the place to be a relaxing retreat. We even had slippers and robes, this was also a plus! Jan is a real host, she does not only rent out a room, but make it an experience and a great memory. This is rare to find, and we have been to many b&b places as we travel often. Thanks Jan!

We hated to leave, the host was so kind to accommodate a late check out for us, this was really much appreciated and we were so sad to leave!

Our host was warm, friendly, very helpful. The room was very comfortable with attention to detail with a huge bathroom. There is a fantastic terrace at the end of the paved garden, up some steps, it is part of the property but on the town wall, a bench to watch the sun set and lovely views of the sea. It doesn't include breakfast but we were recommended that because of their connection, if we go round the corner to The Anglesey Arms we could have full English breakfast for £8 each. A great breakfast !

Our stay was exceptional and exceeded our expectations! Jan was the perfect hostess! She met me at the front door to the home and walked with me to a parking spot she had reserved for us on the street. Once we parked, she helped us carry our bags to the house. The sun was setting so she took us upstairs to a deck connected to the Caernarfon Castle wall that overlooks the water. She brought us drinks and as we watched the sunset, she took our bags to the room. What a welcome!! The room was absolutely perfect. Jan thought of everything one could imagine: Robes and slippers in the closet; crystal drinking glasses on the nightstands; a lovely tea service; sleeping mask and earbuds. Victoria House is in a wonderful location. It's a quick walk to the castle and shopping. The breakfasts were amazing. Servers Michele and Lisa went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I honestly can not compliment Jan enough for ensuring that our stay was perfect. Victoria House was, without a doubt, the best Bed and Breakfast we have ever had the pleasure to stay in! Lovely central location within the walled town. Decor was attractive, and in keeping with the surroundings, rooms were beautifully clean and comfortable. Loved the welcome drink and local fudge. Staff were friendly and had a strong customer care ethos. All were keen to make our stay exceptionally pleasant. Breakfast was delightful and accompanied by a lit candle on the table. Can thoroughly recommend this establishment.

There is no dedicated parking, but we had no problems finding a space on the street, which is also exceptionally quiet.
