I stayed with my parents and my two daughters at the Celtic Royal Hotel for one week and we absolutely loved it. The hotel is full of history but yet down to earth and provides everything we needed. We enjoyed the hotel's location, its facilities, staff, and delicious(!!) dinners. All staff was professional and welcoming. We especially thank Connor (leisure center) and Lorena (restaurant) who made our stay extra special with their kindness and hospitality. We also had an afternoon tea in one of the salons. A real treat! Absolutely recommended. We will be back!

room was dated and bath panel was blown from water damage. noise from extraction unit was constant.

Staff were very good and made the stay very pleasant, all were kind and polite, room was clean and tidy and pool facilities very good. We spent our anniversary here and invited 17 guests which where catered for by lovely staff and the meals served in the restaurant were top quality, the chefs prepared and presented 5 star meals which we all enjoyed.

Wifi was poor over the four days we spent at the hotel, and due to staff shortages our room was serviced only once in those four days. This is no slight on the room cleaning staff who seemed to be rushed off their feet. I did notice the number of coaches arriving over the days for a one night stop over, so it seems those rooms got priority.

The location is superb as right in the centre of Caernarfon. The entrance looks very welcoming and impressive and the parking is free too. The staff are very good and welcoming. The hotel is extremely clean. This is a great place to be - Loved it.

The room was quite big but a bit dated but saying that it was comfortable and clean. The colour scheme and furnishings looked as they were just thrown together but my son thought it was funny. The bar / food prices are quite high compared to what is offered locally so only had a few drinks at the hotel but saying that it was a nice experience.

Great hotel with a great location and plenty of free parking for guests only. Swimming pool area fabulous and some lovely public lounge areas to relax in as well as a nice bar area. Beautifully decorated and furnished down stairs. Lift handy too. Staff all very friendly and lovely and hotel very clean. Only a short walk into town.

Breakfast a mixed bag, hot buffet selection very good but very poor cold selection. No pastries which are normally standard and the worst fruit selection I have ever seen. Whole apples and melon was all that was on offer. The bedroom we had was a family room and a great size but dated decor.

The staff were all welcoming and lovely. We went with my rescue health support animal and we're very accomodating. They left a little treat bag for my pup and a bed. That was a very nice touch and really made us feel welcome as a family. We didn't eat in the restaurant as I was quite poorly the whole weekend but we had room service of the vegan burger and fries and the delicious vegan chocolate brownie with fruit coulee and vegan vanilla ice-cream. The beds were huge and so comfortable. Very clean and tidy good choice of coffees and teas. They had a pool, steam room and sauna although I didn't use them myself my partner did everyday and he loved it. He's been spoilt now. Set a very high standard, the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed. Room was beautiful and clean. Loved the fact they had vegan handwash and shower gel as standard. Great location, a few minutes walk from the harbour. Was great to be somewhere green and lush without loads of tourists. Great little town. We will be back again. Unfortunately the first night there was some extremely loud guests what sounded like they were going in and out of each others room. Late at night and in the early morning passed 2am we were woken by very loud group singing. I have a heart condition and couldn't sleep so that affected my stay.

Perfect location for Caernarfon - only a 10 minute walk to castle and Welsh Highland railway, plus the added bonus of safe car parking facilities. Also a good base to travel to many nearby tourist towns and attractions. Food in the bar was good and breakfast excellent (also extremely well organised with a booking system to avoid overcrowding.) Room was spacious, clean and comfortable and staff efficient and friendly. Didn’t get to me to use the spa facilities but they looked lovely.

Would have liked plain oats, nuts and mixed seeds available at breakfast to help with my special dietary requirements.

The internet was out on the first evening, even after mentioning it at the reception. I really needed internet to prepare my transportations for the following days. I had paid 144 pounds per night during my stay, without the breakfast. I would have expected something special for it, and there was nothing special in the rooms, no particularly comfortable bed. Just a normal room were things were working, nothing more, without even a cleaning every day.

A thoroughly pleasant and smooth stay. The rooms are spotless, with easy access to temperature control - a good old fashioned window / radiator mix, and the general hotel itself is very nice and up together. It can be quite busy without feeling like it, you always have enough space and peace to enjoy yourself. The pool is clean and again, rarely too busy. Breakfast is fantastic. And the staff are always incredibly professional and helpful, in all areas of the hotel. I have never chosen to return to a hotel multiple times, I usually prefer to explore what is available, but when staying near Snowdonia, this is always my first choice.

Sadly the main hallway was undergoing some renovations (which is a good sign in general) but it did mean we missed out on the beautiful lighting arrangement in the entrance. The room's decor is also a little dated, but hopefully they'll update that in due course to a similar style as the ground floor, which is all gorgeous.

Wonderful hotel with A star facilities. Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to help guests (i.e. provided a fan on request, offered to carry bags, offered cheery welcome to guests, held open doors etc), restaurant and bar were both superb, room was brilliant, leisure club was a very nice bonus and location was perfect. Quality stay - would definitely recommend

Only one thing - all in the leisure club. The pool was cold and had reduced access due to planned activity and the gents toilet could do with a refurbishment as rust evident. Easily addressed. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.
