Beautiful inside and out. Very interesting artwork in the dining room. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of tea coffee and milk and very nice shower/soap in the bathroom which was also very spacious. We ate dinner in the evening which was delicious and very reasonably priced. All staff we met were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately on the morning that we left, our door did not automatically lock on closing. We hadn’t noticed the day before. We went to breakfast and advised reception who thought it would be the battery. Hopefully all sorted before the next guests arrived.

From driving up and seeing such a beautiful building and walking in, walking back in time just amazing. The receptionist was wonderful, polite, and helpful. The room was so lovely and peaceful we got a good night sleep. For the evening meal we invited family over and the cost was good but the food was amazing. Breakfast was again just as lovely and even had soya milk. It was that good we booked in for our return journey and got the four poster bed room. Again, staff couldn't do enough. I would recommend this place over any other place to stay as the beauty and historical nature of Miskin Manor and feeling well rested and looked after.

I give feedback on google as it is always good to trust what people say. On both of our stays we were treated wonderfully and all i can say is "IT IS OUR NEW DESTINATION WHEN TRAVELLING THROUGH WALES. PERFECT" no complaints.

The room was absolutely stunning! A huge bay window, four poster, a desk, a table, wardrobes, a free standing mirror! So much space! Breakfast was great too. Super comfy bed, lots of plugs. Easy parking. Really felt special, getting ready here for a wedding.

Only negative was they are damn strict on check in times (I was 20 mins early and wasn't allowed in the room). If you come back late (we were at a wedding), you might have to stand around outside for 10 mins for someone to let you in, which is worth knowing. Also, you have to get water in bottles. You can't drink the tap water. They'll provide them but it's not obvious.

Phenomenal house.. old quirky rooms here there.. spa obviously not open. Our room was stunning like a house .. let alone a creaky bed . But old wood and that.. our view was beautiful.. the gardens are beautiful.. so much can be done with this place.. staff were incredible.. evening meal was small.. but tasty.. and breakfast was lovely.. iv booked again for Oct... I so wish I had the money.. I hope it gets a buyer and gets used how it used to be... Stunning house.. huge grounds.. bar prices were good to. The lady on the front desk was so helpful and Avril the lady that showed us around was lovely .. roll on Oct for my birthday

Sad to see this place so unused.. I remember it in it's hay days..I'd love to get my hands on it

My husband booked this hotel on a last minute deal which was really good value. We stayed on an overnight stay here. When we arrived the receptionist was very helpful and polite. She found a suitable room for us in their Cottage Rooms within the grounds of the Manor House/Hotel. We both have mobility issues so we were grateful for the room provided. There was a lovely garden area around the room outside the hotel. The room was well equipped with all the amenities needed . A very clean room and it had a lovely rural look to it which went with the style of the hotel and gardens there. I think it could have been stables there when built many hundreds of years ago? I did not research it before going there so it is a pure guess on my part. Both of us would highly recommend this Manor House Hotel to any future guests. At an amazing historical location too. I am reviewing this for my husband too. By Lynda Agland

Maybe the lane towards the Manor House Hotel needs some repair eg potholes . This does not affect our highly recommended review of the place as it was excellent to be honest. 😁

Amazing friendly staff. Beautiful grounds, lovely lounge, bar and communal areas. Lovely breakfast, good quality produce. So much history and character in a beautiful building. The staff are doing an amazing job in difficult times for the hotel and I hope for a positive outcome for them and the hotel.

Our initial room was very large but cold, damp and furnishings very worn and shabby. We were moved to room 17 on the 1st floor and this was so warm, clean and fresh and what we were expecting. The hotel needs some tlc.

The location and the surrounding gardens and views

Great place all in all, stunning surroundings very friendly and relaxing, the breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. Stayed in the cottages at the rear which was beautiful. Only one issue though, which was not the hotels fault really ( the weather was so hot ) on requesting a fan for the room we were told they did not have any. As the building is so old obviously no air con, but a simple fan would have been amazing. Great stay though and would recommend to anyone.

Considering the problems this hotel is having it was very good. It is such a shame the building is deteriorating. We had a relaxed time, the staff were friendly, the bed comfortable, the service excellent. Our walk round the grounds was nice but sad, seeing the deteriation of the gardens.

Dinner was okay. Small portions and chewy chicken but the staff are very friendly. We had to run the water in the shower for a while before it got hot enough to use but we weren't in a hurry so not a big problem.

Beautiful building and gardens, lovely room (13) with four poster bed....although bed was too firm for my liking. Spotlessly clean. Receptionist very helpful on arrival

Glass shelf in bathroom was unstable and my toiletry bag slid off, luckily nothing got broken. Shower cubicle slippery, could be an accident waiting to happen especially for an elderly person. At breakfast, help yourself to fresh tea and coffee but the pots were so very heavy, again an older person may struggle even more.
