The staff were excellent in fact amazing, a lovely Scottish lady greeted us I feel awful I didn’t ask her name, she helped us myself and my partner during our stay above and beyond what was required of her. Not only for that reason but I would definitely stay again

The breakfast was not great, I felt it let the facility down, from being show to our table that hadn’t been cleaned to the help your self cooked breakfast that I refused to try as it looked unappealing. So I requested a full refund for my breakfast and went to another cafe to eat breakfast.

Staff were incredibly friendly and could not do any more for us, I was so impressed with their effort and they were so so helpful. Ideal location just outside Cardiff so was very chilled and quiet. Excellent bar and food facilities. Was generally very happy with the stay.

The room was very hot in the night and it was difficult to get any cool air either through a window or via some sort of cooling system. We also had an issue where our blackout curtain was broken on arrival.

The location was great, bar food was excellent, comfy bed. Check in and out was so easy. Facilities in the room were great! Lovely shower, all in all a great place to stay.

The room was quite noisy in terms of its location - traffic outside and I felt the windows looked a little bare, with just a blind. Some curtains would have made it feel a bit more homely! But that's really scraping the barrel to find something I disliked. All in all a great place to stay!

The check in staff were excellent special mention to donna telling us about the facilities and location of amenities as we were new to the area she gave us so much info , the breakfast choice was good and plenty of choice as was the food for evening meal with typical hotel prices.

The bedroom was very dusty not the best cleaned area of the hotel even though everything was in a working order and a nice comfy bed the appearance looked very dated and a bit sad looking

The bed!! The bed was unbelievably comfortable. First time in about three years I've woken up without a bad back. Best nights sleep I've had in a while. Considering booking a room once a month just for the comfort 😅

Whilst I fully appreciate the safety aspect, I would have liked the option to open the windows a bit more. Despite this, it doesn't take away my 10/10 rating. However, the fan was a nice touch in this current climate. 👌

Very friendly and helpful staff. Huge car park. Liked the cinema seating in the bar area in front of the huge TV screen. Loved the wallpaper in the lift re etiquette! Husband enjoyed the breakfast. Unfortunately I woke up with migraine so didn't make breakfast. Loved the chocolate Welsh spoons.

Would have preferred a shower instead of shower over the bath. No bath mat for use in bath and bath was slippy. Bathroom could do with updating. Didn't like the dark walls in the corridor.

For the most part the room, breakfast etc were quite good except one day our room wasn't serviced. We had stayed before and knew what the hotel was like. The reception staff were always helpful as were the restaurant staff.

We could have done with a later time for the ending of breakfast service. The bath could have done with a less slippery surface for when showering.

Lovely welcome from all the team - in particular Katie in the restaurant. The location was excellent and very easy to find with on hand information from reception staff of best transport links to Cardiff City centre. The last time we stayed here was in 2002. The hotel has changed a great deal but still with the same attention to detail, but it is the members of the team whom make this hotel what it is. We will definitely be making a return visit.

The shower in the bathroom was not up to standard and made a strange noise when on.

All the staff were so lovely and friendly, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Lovely rooms and bathrooms, clean and modern. Gym and swimming pool amazing!

The food and drinks in the bar were quite expensive for what it was and took a while to come. Food arrived before our drinks and then when we asked where drinks where they didnt know what we had ordered. Parking was charged

How relaxed the atmosphere is. Staff superb.. leisure facilities were great. Able to use facilities even though checked out is brilliant.

Mens toilets are dirty. Pillows were huge and hard.. bad lighting in rooms for a woman to get ready. A simple menu for room service would be good. ..Toasti3s. Sandwiches or pizza Under reception are is dirty, and rubbish can b3 seen when sitting in fan zone
