Gorgeous room with a beautiful view of the river. Really nicely decorated, had a mini bar with everything you'd need (extra cost) and tea/coffee making facilities with a nespresso machine. Safe parking. Reception staff were so helpful and kind. Beautiful place I would definitely recommend!

The only negative thing is that we booked without breakfast but were told if we changed our minds we could just come down to the restaurant and pay separately, but when we did, we were told they were too busy and she needed to check in the kitchen, she then did and said it would be a 30 min wait. We would not have minded a 30 min wait, but the way the waitress expressed and communicated with us made us feel like they were doing us a favour, so we preferred to go somewhere else.

The location was exceptional being on the river with wonderful views. The facilities were ideal for a group having flexible table layout in the restaurant and bar, inside and out on the large terrace. The staff were most attentive and most willing to please. The loan of a sat Nav power plug was no trouble. In particular, our waitress Derry looked after our group of 16 for dinner in the evening with ease and charm, nothing was too much trouble. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast was the best that we have had for a long time, highly recommended. Again, the morning staff were excellent. Another advantage for our sports car group was the undercover car parking, most reassuring when expecting rain. We would certainly stay at this hotel when next in the area.

In previous comments some mentioned that the hotel was a little tired. Fair comment but all other assets far out weighed such minor observations.

The room was nice, clean, and warm. I was glad that the room was nicely warm as the weather was cold outside and I just had dinner in another nearby hotel with my colleague (who chose to stay there), and that place was super cold, so it was definitely nice to arrive to a warm hotel room. I also appreciated that it was equipped with an iron and ironing board. I must say, that every single staff member was exceptional!!! I don't recall having such a good experience with staff ever. I was missing a converter from the EU to the UK plug and everyone did their best efforts to help me out. THANK YOU! Small things like this matter!

The location right on the river, with waterside terrace. The pub restaurant was beautifully decorated with lovely furniture and flagstone floors, it had some nice cosy areas, and plenty of room between tables. I was upgraded to a lovely large room, which is really nice for a solo traveller, as normally put in tiny rooms. The staff were really pleasant, from receptionist to breakfast team. There was a good choice at breakfast, and it was good quality. I also liked secure armies g on site with cameras.

Price slightly on high side, but upgraded room was a benefit

Big open wide room, perfectly well clean, beautiful decor. Would definitely stay again. The staff and people were lovely.

Hotel food shuts down at 8 on Sunday. We didn't know this, as we didn't get told until the Sunday when looking for a meal around 19.45 in the afternoon. To be fair we didn't ask but as they knew we staying for a weekend. They should of told us at reception when checking in sat. So we had no dinner Sunday as everything in the area closes by 8. Breakfast over priced, but lovely.

The room I was had a big balcony door and there was plenty of light and really nice view of the river. It was very relaxing and the atmosphere made a big difference.

When I booked the room, it wasn't showing the actual picture of the room, so when I arrived I was given a small room, without aircondition, small window with hardly any light, black walls and there was so much noise coming from the road. I had to pay extra to get another room, which was not in my budget, but I couldn't stay in there.

Our room was lovely and quaint, with a Juliet balcony overlooking the River Thames—spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. We enjoyed a long late lunch on the terrace by the river. We both had the Fish and Chips, and it was delicious, with lovely big portions and perfectly fried with crispy batter and juicy flaky cod fillets. The staff were delightful, friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble and it was so good to see happy smiley faces.

Cannot fault a thing

A little gem of a pub-hotel. I was surprised by how well equipped the room was. Even a little minibar! Had a lovely view and extremely comfortable. The pub downstairs has a nice terrace and food is good traditional fare.

Breakfast seemed a little disorganised. No one initially to greet you. Options a little limited but fine. This is an area for improvement I'd say. It's also not that easy to find reception! Lack of a lift could be a problem for some.

love this place stayed here about 4 times as we often travel up here to collect from a store we always have an overnight stay with breakfast which is really good and a lot of choice on a lovely river bank with swans and ducks which we feed when we go rooms are clean and good the pub it’s self is large dog friendly quite close to a lot of attractions to we will definitely be going back here quite often I love the place and recommend it

nothing bad about this place

We were given an upgrade to the room we had booked. The room was very clean and comfortable if a little too warm for our liking. It looked very much like it had been recently decorated…very fresh and new. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We dined in the hotel…good pub grub.

The TV remote didn’t work so we couldn’t watch TV. There was no milk in the room which we didn’t notice in time to ask for more from reception. These are minor things and actually didn’t detract from our stay.
