A lovely place to stay, nice and clean, good value for money, bed was very comfortable, the staff were polite and helpful.

The only bit we weren't so keen on was that the ensuite toilet was open plan with the room although slightly hidden in a corner and slightly screened but still viewable from the room.

The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable with excellent parking. The gentleman on reception was helpful and courteous and assisted us with a requested change of room on arrival plus additional tea and coffee etc. The cooked breakfast both mornings was superb and the staff serving were also excellent. Wi-Fi worked fine and the hotel was quiet (aside from squeaky floorboards which you get in all period buildings). Location easy to find by car and a short walk into the town centre.

First room we were allocated (300) was tired with uninspiring views over hotel roof and aircon units etc however we were immediately moved on request. No biscuits with the tea and coffee in the room but not a big deal. A choice of coffee at breakfast would be nice but these are all minor things.

Room 212 is a suite and was very comfortable. It was the first time I had booked a suite and I really liked it. Breakfast was very good.

The two wall mounted TV's were a bit small for the size of the rooms. The in room safe is on the floor of the wardrobe with the instructions on the front which required me to lay down with a torch to read the instructions of how to operate the safe. There isn't much natural light in the lounge area as it is furthest from the window in the bedroom, but there is a skylight, but there were no instructions I could find on how to open the blind and it would need to be closed each night before going to bed.

Well located in a fairly quiet spot but with good access from/to M25/M3 and a 20 minute walk to the train station with good links to Windsor, London, and Twickenham. Big car park included in price. Were able to book in slightly early as soon as we arrived Lovely breakfast with both cooked (bacon, eggs, sausage, toast, etc) and cold (juices, cereals, pastries, fresh, fruit). Served on the Saturday but self service on Sunday. Air conditioned room. Reasonable size with TV, mirror/chair/hairdryer/kettle and tea and coffee/fridge Modern bathroom with walk in shower White Swan across the road with a riverside terrace for evening drinks

Room was a little tired but not a problem. Not much presence at the reception

charming hotel with lovely modern rooms. family room was spacious with king size bed, sofa and single bed, the bathroom had a bath and a separate shower, heated towel rack. plenty of sockets in convenient places. the beds were comfy and quilts were warm, pillows were perfect for me. the car park was secure with plenty of space, nice quiet area. not far from retail shopping park the two rivers. had everything we needed.

seems to have minimal staffing, only seeing 1 person mostly at a time covering the hotel. it does need a little bit of tlc, the stairs in the lobby are getting threadbare, and NO LIFT! my elderly parents struggled going up and down the stairs. the dining/dance room for breakfast is a bit dated and no one to greet you upon arrival, only 1 lady rushing around serving all diners. the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours snore, bring ear plugs LOL.

The shower and bath were excellent, as was the cooked breakfast. All the staff we spoke to were lovely and very helpful. The room was very quiet as I'd wanted soundproofing and the beds comfortable. I would definitely stay here again as the location as well as the attentive and pleasant staff made it very worthwhile.

The sink needed a bit of attention, although everything was clean, and my door didn't lock from the inside at night, but I mentioned this to reception on leaving. I only discovered it on the second night, forgot to lock it the first one, and by then we were about to go to sleep so I didn't want to move my toddler! Also my key card to enter the room didn't work on the second night so I had to ask reception to reset it - a bit of a nuisance as I'd just got my tired toddler upstairs.

Nicely situated, close to the Thames. Good parking area at the back. We had a front facing room, not double glazed, but we needed the window open as it was very hot. Surprisingly, there was not much noise from the pub opposite. Breakfast was quite adequate but not kept as hot as preferred.

Not suitable if you are incapacitated but not disabled and have an upstairs room. Stairs are not very wide and not as clearly marked as they should be on bottom steps. To get to your room is a bit if a maxe. The reception area is quite dark, and the signs were missed, causing my husband to fall. The building is quite old and in need of some refurbishment.

Great location - quiet yet just a few minutes walk to the riverside, bars, restaurants and Staines centre. The hotel was very clean and appeared to be well maintained and there was plenty of private parking. No complaints about the room except for the fact that our single duvet covers contained a folded double duvet which was too narrow and too thick and heavy. We dealt with this by taking the duvet out of the cover and laying it over the top single thickness. Self service breakfast was good quality but there were not many staff and items were not being replenished quickly enough. Nearly half the items were used up, including toast which had to be brought from the kitchen. Staff were very pleasant and helpful when approached for items but just not being brought out in sufficient quantities and bread and toaster would be a good idea for self service. We did, however, enjoy our stay and it would not have taken much to make it very good.

Booking in was easy with pleasant staff. The room was much bigger than anticipated with a large bathroom, shower, and a bath with a shower over. Free car park , bar open till late, and a Indian restaurant attached. We were going to eat out in town after a look around, but the smells from the restaurant enticed us in, and we didn't regret it. Good choice of dishes cooked really well. Comfortable bed and tea and coffee provided in room. Breakfast was included in the price and was freshly cooked with good ingredients. Also, continental breakfast if required. Coffee was also good. Great value for money, and we will definitely come back if in the area again.

The only thing I could fault was that the pillows were a little firm for me... not a complaint as it's a personal preference.

Room size was good as having kids. Plenty of space for them to move around. Bath room size was also big. The air con was good even when it was the max setting it was just perfect. Location for leggo land was no more than 25 minutes by car and bekonscot mini village 40 minutes. Car park space was safe and secure so had no worries about the car. Perfect location lovely stay and breakfast included. The receptionist was friendly and pointed out some placed to eat with the family.

The shower door didn't shut properly which meant the water leaked outside on to the floor which we than had to mop up with the towel. Apart from that it was a great stay.
