The room's decor and style was lovely, it felt very luxurious. I have taken away some decorating tips for my future home renovation! There was everything we needed and lots of space to put our bags. I really appreciated the smell of bleach in the bathroom on our arrival! The TV had lots of channels to choose from. The bed was very comfortable, so too were the chairs. The breakfast had ample choice, and the pain au chocolat was particularly delicious. All the crockery and cutlery was clean and well organised. I especially appreciated having a fan in the room!

The only thing to comment on is the state of the towels. Although they were clean and were a lovely colour, they had bleach spots and were torn in places. This is the only negative thing to mention, and would not prevent me from recommending the hotel or staying there again. If the towels were in a better state then this would have resulted in my rating being 10/10.

Description of room was misleading saying the room had tea and coffee facilities which it didn't you had to go out into the corridor for the facility , also felt that the breakfast menu was misleading as it was a continental type breakfast which didn't have cheese or cold meat as being part of it ,plus your taking all your breakfast things into your room to eat and drink them which was a first for me ,we did mention about the cheese and cold meat to one of the girls in the restaurant but she said that it couldn't be left out even though their was a fridge to keep it in where all the breakfast facilities were.

The location was perfect for us. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious enough. We barely saw any staff but when we did they were courteous, pleasant and efficient. I gave a mark of 8/10 for the staff but on reflection I would have changed that to a 9 or a 10 if I had been able to edit my mark.

The breakfast arrangement. We would have preferred individual tea and coffee making facilities in our room. Instead the kettle was on the landing. Not ideal for your early morning cuppa. I know this is down to the guests rather than the management but leaving the breakfast items on rhe landing is a system open to abuse. On our first morning all the water bottles had disappeared from the fridge.

The bfirst was OK but setting was a bit strange.on arriving car park was full.spoke with Mathew who had a full resterauant. But within 5 minutes he broke off what he was doing moved a few cars and we were parked up.mathew and his staff were brilliant. Always had a smile on their faces and nothing was too much trouble.room was excellent.

The entrance and departure down the fire escape.taking suit cases down the fire escape was not ideal for me and my wife as we are not great walking and are knocking on a bit.

The bedroom was large and pleasantly decorated, with a good en-suite too! Think there are only 5 rooms. Breakfast is a help yourself continental style one, with great choices and plenty of it. It’s available out in the large hall then you take it back in to your room to eat!

The bed is placed in front of the window, which made opening the windows and closing/opening blinds very difficult. When leaving, had to take my suitcase down a steep set of fire escape-type stairs. Quite dangerous.

Parking limited. No space when we arrived. Manager moved his car, so we could have his bay. It's something they do often for guests lodging. We ate at the Galleon Steakhouse, meal was tremendous and staff very welcoming and helpful.

Generally happy with a continental breakfast, but choice extremely limited. No natural yoghurt for cereal (I don't like milk) and as have allergy to strawberry & orange, the preservative choice was strawberry jam and marmalade. They did have honey though, so this was good. And allergy wasn't previous notified to The Spire, (so not their failing), I just presumed there'd be other flavoured jams avail

Stayed overnight as we was there to see Queen tribute at the Windmill Theatre which is just a 5 minute walk from there. Everything was perfect. Stayed in room 1 Loads of storage and so spacious. Bed was massive and clean with extra cover in the wardrobe. Shower was easy to use and lovely and hot. No facilities in the room for making hot drinks but just outside the room there’s everything you need to make hot drinks. Kettle and a coffee machine and a fridge with plenty of milk and fresh water bottles. Breakfast was continental that you help yourself to which was lovely. There’s a lovely modern dressing table and two comfy chairs in the room and large tv on the wall. Everything was spot on.

Nothing to dislike only the fact that we wanted to stay an extra night but all the rooms were booked up 🥲

Large comfortable rooms. Great location. Bed was huge and comfortable. I slept very well. Breakfast in the morning was continental. It was delicious. I would highly recommend to others to book there

Lovely place, nice and clean and extra comfy bed. Continental beakfast was all set out in the morning for us to help ourselves and there was a good selection. Was not really anywhere to eat our food because the breakfast bar was where all the food had been placed for people to help themselves but not to worry we ended up having a bed picnic.

The only downside of our stay was that we had a meal in the steakhouse which was amazing but we were disappointed that we did not receive a discount as we were staying in the hotel.

I had stayed there twice before so I knew how much I liked it, hence why I chose to stay there again. Lovely rooms and I like the self service for breakfast. Handy location for city centre and free parking.

Parking is tight but we got in. We were going to eat in the restaurant but the rude manager put us off as she was very rude to her staff which was off putting and they were very uncomfortable so we went elswhere
