Absolutely wonderful stay in Aberconwy house. We adored our room with it’s beautiful view of forests, mountains and valleys and spent our evenings drinking wine watching the sunset. Martin, Pippa and Marian made us feel like VIP guests in someone’s gorgeous home. They always had time for a chat and to give advice and recommendations for exploring the surrounding area. The breakfast was delicious and they went out of their way to accommodate my coeliac partner. To say we devoured Marian’s Welsh Cakes would be an understatement. If we ever come back to Snowdonia we only hope there’ll be vacancy at Aberconwy house. Thanks so much Martin, Pippa and Marian.

The House was perfectly located within National Park for the walking that we were wanting to do, the room was big with grand views of the forests, bathroom was superb, modern and clean, the linen and towels were fresh and Marion, Pippa and Martin were most welcoming hosts very hospitable with some extra touches like the Welsh Cakes to take away, the chocolate on the bed on our arrival, and quality walk advise. Martin was also a great artist so we left with some beautiful prints. We will be going back if they'll have us in the future.

If you are looking at reviews to decide whether to book this place, you must do it! A warm welcome, friendly hosts, spotlessly clean room, comfy bed, delicious breakfast what more could you wish for?! We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived and were very impressed with our beautful room. Breakfast was really lovely and we enjoyed the stunning views and wild birds on the feeder outside. Bara brith and welsh cakes were given to us on both days which was an unexpected but truly lovely bonus! We got the sense that our hosts were proud of Aberconwy house and how they had progressed and improved it during their time of ownership and that showed in every aspect. We were so sad to leave and I am going to make sure this is not the last time we stay here. What a great place it is!

One of the best b&b we have ever stayed at. Everything was perfection! Such welcoming and thoughtful hosts! You know that a lot of considerations have gone into the tasteful designs and choice of high quality amenities. Great food (restaurant standard) and comfortable bed/room/house. Martin even packed us some Welsh cakes for our trek and our breakfast on the go when we had to leave early the next day! Good location, nice stroll into the cute town (could be shorter if the bridge was not under repair). Beautiful artworks :) Would not hesitate to stay there again if we are in the area!

We were on a 6 week holiday in the UK, visiting from Australia. On balance, this is one of the best places that we stayed the entire duration of your visit. The welcome we received from Martin, Pippa and Marian was so genuinely warm and friendly. They gave us lots of information about the local area and could not do enough to make our stay so memorable. The bedroom, sitting area and bathroom were exceptionally clean and tastefully furnished, with a modern bathroom and quality towels and linen. The view from the room was glorious out over the hills and blissfully quiet. The hosts were kind enough to make a breakfast pack for us on the first morning, as we had a scenic train ride we needed to catch. The menu options, friendly service and choice of options with the breakfast menu the following morning were exceptional. We were genuinely sad to leave and felt we left as friends.
Absolutely nothing. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Everthing was absolutely perfect! Martin, Pippa and Marian were warm, friendly with nothing being to much trouble. They had thought about everything to make our stay a fantastic one. After breakfast Pippa offered her guests Welsh Cakes and Bara Brith to take on your day out, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Rooms are spotless and modern with a well stocked hospitality tray. The bathroom was spotless and contemporary with complementary products. The breakfast was delicious and hearty with the most breathtaking, amazing views and there are plenty of car parking spaces.
We liked everything as it was perfect.

There was nothing to fault our visit to Aberconwy House B&B. We were met by one of the hosts called Martin, cracking Scottish bloke, gsoh and down to earth chap. Met Marian and Pippa shortly afterwards and could not have been more pleased, both were thoroughly charming and welcoming !! The B&B itself was absolutely fantastic, immaculately spotless from floor to ceiling, great size beds, showers were great as well, no expense spared anywhere, all the toiletries and towels, were top quality, even got scented toilet roll, warm rooms, our room in parts was great for the views anytime of day, room 1 to be specific, food was good quality and cooked fresh, great location for exploring the area, walking or using your car, never far from anywhere of interest, if you have got any sense, you can't go wrong booking in this place, give hotels a miss and try bed and breakfast for a change, the personal touch is far more enjoyable and I used to frown upon B&Bs in the past, but they have come a long way since the bad old days of shared bathrooms and toilet facilities. I will definitely go back to spend time in one of my favorites places in North Wales. Keep up the good work A-Team, as I nicknamed them, you will not be disappointed if you stay here, trust me. XX
There was nothing there to dislike, I can't honestly find a fault. Broadband not the fastest service, but I don't mind, I tend not to use my phone much whilst I am away, what's the point of trying to relax if you have got your phone in your hand constantly, I never understand people who can't put their phones away whilst trying to relax, switch off your damn phones I say. Only other thing to maybe consider, if you own a largish car, SUV type vehicle, the car park is not very big, but that is being picky if I am being honest.

In the whole process of booking accommodation, good communication with guests is imperative and these hosts have got it 100% right! Marian, Pippa, and Martin are very friendly and approachable, from the moment of booking to the arrival, information about the local area, and up to departure. The location of the bed and breakfast is perfect for a short stroll into the village of Betws-y-coed and is easy to find if driving. There is free reserved parking. The breakfast room and bedrooms are spotlessly clean. Every amenity has been catered to and the rooms are modern and fresh in design. The beds are very comfortable. There are great little touches in the rooms, including a full drinks station, iron, and ironing board, toiletries, and chocolates on the pillow. The view from room 5 was particularly special! The breakfast was a great selection and very delicious! All foods are locally sourced and home-cooked. They have a bird feeding station near the breakfast room window, which provides great entertainment!

The hospitality was unmatched. Pippa, Martin and Marian were very helpful and friendly. I was in town to hike Snowdon and they had tons of information and experience to discuss the hike at length. I truly felt like a guest living at their house and to me that's the pinnacle of any B&B. Very nice facilities too. There were also some other little things like having a light on the room/house key keychain, giving me some homemade trail snacks for the hike, and texting me to make sure I made it back from the hike that made the stay positively memorable. All B&Bs should strive to be like Aberconwy House.

Our bedroom and the building in general were exceptionally clean. We had a front bedroom with beautiful views over the river to Betws Y Coed. The breakfast was superb, and we even given some bara brith and Welsh cakes to take with us for the day. The owners were amazing and made our visit a great experience. Can’t recommend highly enough, and we will definitely be back
Absolutely nothing. We can’t fault it in any way.
