The welcome by staff was brilliant. We were quite happy to leave our luggage having come by train and return at check-in time. However, the room is ready we were told and we could go on up. What a welcome change from some hotels. Breakfast is a buffet for the cold and order from your table for the hot which meant it was hot, another welcome difference. The hotel is 100 yards or so from the station and 0.7 mile to the city centre and buses regularly pass the door to the city centre, journey time around 10 minutes.

Room could have done with a bit more clothes storage space for those on a longish trip like us. The air con needed a college degree to work or at best an instruction manual. We kept doing all that was obvious but eventually by luck got it right. The TV was also a nightmare trying to find 'normal' live terrestrial stations. We gave up.

Lovely new hotel. Very clean and fresh. Comfortable rooms with lovely quirky theme and lots of nods to olden days like the rotary phone. Appreciated the residents discount on food and beverages-really made it better value! Location excellent for central Coventry.

All was great but just regarding breakfast-and this is minor but it niggled-not enough fruit slices, had lovely smoothies day one and they never appeared after that! Same with the lovely tomato bread. Tables are small for the size of the cups so they got crowded with crockery fast and could have been cleared bit quicker. Staff were great some were just very new and this is not a complaint just observation. Otherwise breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious. Love that.

Great new hotel. Lovely design. Stylish interiors. Very quiet! Great themed rooms. Well thought-through concepts for each of the tons. Fantastic comfy beds and brilliant pillows. Excellent restaurant and a lovely food choice for dinner. Lovely touches if local cultural history, eg SKA music represented with clever murals in the ground floor bathrooms. A nice nod to Coventry’s music heritage. Every member of staff were first rate. Each having a different personality and not contrived multi-national corporate attitudes. Just warm, super friendly and engaging individuals with a real can-do attitude from the moment we walked in to check-in to our check-out. Would strongly recommend a stay there. As we plan to do next year…

Our room could have done with another towel hook on the back of the bathroom door. One is never enough when two are sharing a room.

Hotel reception staff were warm, friendly and professional. Room was lovely, comfortable and provided all we needed.

Poor display of dining options and times. We sat for an hour on Sunday waiting on a sandwich having reviewed the menu on Saturday. We were then told Sunday was roast day and a totally different menu. We could have had a sandwich before 12!!! Menu reviewed on Saturday, said sandwiches 12 noon to 5pm. Might be useful to display a menu daily, with available food, especially if the set up varies on different days. Had to leave without planned lunch snack. Very disappointing.

Concept, location, restaurant, new hotel, parking located close by. Fish and chips excellent 👌

Road access to the hotel is still under development. Can park on the footpath outside the hotel. Uber drivers block access. Needs a sign stating "no parking" Room not cleaned...no fresh towels etc. bins full. Not restocked. Waited for reception staff to sort. No hygiene services after hours. A mistake with billing which seemed to take a long time to sort out....😕. More staff training required Coffee from the bar drinkable 🥴

The whole feel of the hotel was welcoming and the staff were very friendly. The location was excellent as so close to the train station. I was worried about noise levels because the train station was so close but couldn’t hear any outside noise when in the room. Breakfast was excellent also. Next time we might try dinner in the hotel. A bonus was it was raining the next day and you could rent umbrellas at the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

My only criticism is the shower pressure was poor when it was first turned on. It came ok after turning it on and off a few times.

Very clean and contemporary decor. It is very close to all the sights in downtown Coventry—an easy 10 min walk.

It was a little hard to navigate the surrounding streets by car, and parking is down the street in a not-obvious parking garage. I was very grateful for the satellite-map in our car, but still missed the turn into the drive. Walking around was straightforward, though.

Perfect location for rail travel. Not too far from the center of Coventry. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Everything is pretty much new.

I was surprised that there were no recycling options on site. When I asked at the front desk, the assistant did not know. I ended up taking items into town where there were some public bins. It shouldn’t be so difficult to do the right thing.

Getting charged £49 pounds on my room for drinks only had 4 someone obviously put them to my room but couldn't be bothered arguing about it but apart from that everything was spot on from the cost of the room to the friendliness of staff would definitely recommend it to anyone stopping in that part of the world
