The staff was very friendly even when we checked in after midnight. The breakfast was consistently excellent. We had dinner at the hotel which worked out fine. The dining area did not close and the staff was so accommodating.

It would have helped us if we had more information about bus transportation in the immediate area, stops, general directions. We walked in a circle using Google maps. If a basic map to the bus station or train station was available, it would have saved us much discovery time. It would be nice to have a list of close by restaurants. Our phones did not work locally for the first 2 days so we had to look on our own. The dining was excellent. Perhaps a cart available to bus our tables would have freed tables faster for those who were looking for seating in the dining area. The staff really cleaned as fast as they could.

The room was spacious enough. Location was not too bad - right outside was a bus stop and another opposite in the other direction. The city centre was a 10 to 15 minute walk away. It's not exactly next to the city centre or the station so expect to lug your bags to the hotel as there is no bus from the station (as far as I could tell). Would stay again since the photos and the description all match the actual.

The bathroom felt like a capsule with plasticky flooring. The step to the bathroom was unnecessary high. The mirror was huge though.

Location great for event, parking very reasonable, nice rooms

Arrived an was given two keys. Neither of these worked. Went down to reception told them, got two more. Again neither worked.. I called reception from my phone at this point as I had 20 minutes to get into my room, have a shower and leave for my event, someone came up with two more keys… you guessed it. They didn’t work. I said can you just let me in with the master key cos I need to get a shower an leave in 20 minutes. He let me in, an put a master key in so the lights worked… he never returned and was no where to be seen when we left, so I arrived back at midnight an luckily still kept the master key.just annoying when you want to quickly get in after a 3 hour drive.

Very modern & clean. The room was spacious with everything needed. The shower room, although not huge, was well designed & the shower was excellent. The location was excellent being a 10 minute easy walk into the city centre. There's a large car park ( they charge £6 for 24 hours) but this is preferable to parking in a public car park. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. We've stayed in hotels at twice the price which have been considerably poorer.

Single beds are extremely uncomfortable. Every time you flush the bathroom it literally smells of sewage. Having stayed multiple times it’s a recurring problem and needs investigating.

The location is very good, only a 10-minute walk from Coventry station, and there are several bus stations nearby. The breakfast is of good value - though the food area is quite small, the variaty is good, and both continental as well as English options are provided.

The room is super cold for some reason I can't understand. Wind seems to blow through the window, and the duvet are so thin that it doesn't provide any warm. The heating in my room also didn't work well.

Booked a room for an overnight stop when in the area and met my needs. It was convenient for the city with a small bar and menu for simple food choices. The room was clean and modern with a nice hot shower. There is parking onsite but you have to pay. Breakfast is buffet style where you help yourself to either cooked hot food, cereals or fruit. Plenty of choice to set up a traveller for the day.

Have stayed many times, ideal location and comfortable rooms. Staff on check in were very pleasant.

It is a bit misleading having to pay for parking separately, as obviously that adds to the price of the room. Kind of penalised for having a car. Doesn't stop me going, but just worth a mention. It wasn't always this way, as I've stayed over several years. Maybe just put the price of the room up, then everyone pays the same?

The hotel was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The large shower was a definite bonus! The hotel was easy to get to and was a conveniently short (five minutes or so) walk from the railway station.

It would be too strong to call these dislikes, but the stay could be even better with a more varied/better evening menu and some destination EV charging points in the car park — that would be the icing on the cake.

Have stayed at several Ibis around the globe. Love the standardization of the room. Staff are usually super friendly, efficient, and helpful.

Did find some of the fittings in the room were slightly shabby, but that is a minor thing. Did have a meal at night, and while the size of the helping was satisfactory, I thought having processed fish instead of actual cod fillers was a bit of a letdown.
