The staff were excellent, every member of staff I encountered was happy, polite, helpful and friendly. Particularly the bar staff and breakfast staff. Breakfast was also very good indeed. Large rooms and comfortable beds. Very convenient multi story car park right next door.

The lifts were a nightmare. One of them was out of action for our entire stay and the other two were so slow it was a joke. One morning I waited 12 minutes just to get a lift from the 5th floor. The noisy bathroom fans that ran continuously irrelevant of whether the bathroom light was on or not, cutting in every morning at 6 am for no apparent reason. The shower cubical could have been cleaner.

The room was very clean and the facilities in general was. Breakfast was delicious , chef was great as he went extra mile by making me a well done eggs. The overall breakfast and reception team was great, friendly, police and welcoming but was a bit disappointed on second arrival , which was after 11:00 pm,as the chap(white) at reception was unfriendly and rude. Have worked in hospitality industry for over 10 years but I must say he needs training, as lacks soft skills. His other colleague(Asian) was very friend and polite. I would highly suggest if the hotel could put microwaves in public areas , not only in certain rooms so that other guests could use in case a guest would like to warm up something .

The attitude of all the Staff from the Reception to the Restaurant was just Outstanding!!! The Service, the tasty a la carte food (amazing!), the room, the location in walking distance to the train station (without any luggage) were on top.

The hotel building probably requires renovation but the Staff makes it just the top level with their warm attitude in each area! First time I faced an Example how the Top Service can make you realize that it is so non-important that the hotel building is actually old but means nothing to let you feel comfortable in it.

I stayed at the hotel to rehab after a surgery when I was mostly confined to the bed. The staff were absolutely fantastic, very friendly and caring. I had to order food every day and had to trouble them to bring it up for me, but everyone was so understanding. They also made sure all of the front desk staff knew about my situation so I didn't have to re-negotiate every time. There were a few times when they thought I complained about room cleaning (I didn't - room service was great! It seemed like there was a mistake in the computer system). My point is, each time they took it very seriously, and someone always came checking on the same day. I also had to prolong my stay and arrange late checkout- very smooth too.

As an accessibility room it would have been great if the beds stayed in place. I had to push the two beds to the wall to stop them from moving. There was also a very small step between the bathroom and the bedroom, which was a tripping hazard for stick users. In terms of fire safety, it would have been good if the accessibility room was on the ground floor and/or instructions were given about evacuation points when the lifts couldn't be used. Of course I appreciate it's a wider issue in the industry and it's no fault of the staffs. Otherwise, the room was great, there was plenty of space and a good view of Coventry. Close to all sorts of takeaway places too.

Very clean room, spacious, comfy. There was parking available underneath the hotel though at a cost. Nice, efficient and polite staff. Cooked breakfast at £10 if paid for the night before or £14 on the morning (per guest). Standard cooked breakfast with fruit options on a smaller scale so not as much choice as larger hotel brands e.g. Holiday Inn. Clean and tidy dining area.

Location of shops on the same road looked a bit run down when you first drove up to it so was worrying and didn’t feel safe initially but once you got into the hotel, it was nice.

- My four-night stay here was quite relaxing. The average rate for my stay was £70 per night, which for a 4-star hotel in the area felt reasonable. - Room service was fast and staff were pleasant. - Internet connection is per room and was very reliable throughout my stay.

- This is one of those 4-star hotels that while reasonable, felt average at best relative to its star rating. - Toilet was not properly clean on arrival - stains left over the seat. Receptionist came up to clean this himself, which was nice, but not his responsibility and must be clean on the guest's arrival. - While room service was nice, a tray charge PLUS service charge is excessive. I was happy to pay the service charge, but charging both to paying guests of your hotel is over the top.

For what I considered to be a silly price, I got a nice suite with a living room, dinning area, kitchenette plus a decent double bedroom and bathroom. It is a great place to be if I needed to work in the area and wanted somewhere to 'live' for a few days as there was room to stretch out and not just sit in the bed. Also, there were two large screen TV's.

The area is a bit grotty which is why I imagine the price was so compelling. Also, the car park is not only unattractive but leaves you feeling that you car won't be in the same condition when you come back the next day (but nothing happened). In fact getting from the car park to the hotel (which is only next door) and back again was the least attractive part.

Good location, within walking distance of station. Excellent welcome and really kind offer of early check-in (2-hours). Kind and helpful staff. Efficient lifts. Nice, clean, well-appointed room on 7th floor with view towards Coventry cathedral. Good air conditioning and room temperature. There is a constant steady swish from the air conditoner but we did not find it intrusive and we appreciated the quiet ambience of the room. We liked the Tea/Coffee making facilities, the very nice washroom and the particularly good shower. Quality of cooked breakfast very good. Nice coffee. Availability of evening meals of a very good standard. Pleasant service.

A relatively minor point but it would be good to have cold drinking water available on each floor.

The staff in the restaurant were exceptional and made me - a female dining alone - feel very welcome. The room was comfortable, a good size, and the shower was lovely. I like the fact they had large containers for shower gel, etc, and not those wasteful small plastic bottles.

Lukewarm but efficient welcome at reception. The view was depressing, a busy road filled with roadworks. I didn't like having to park in the adjoining multi-storey, and the area surrounding the hotel was a little rundown and totally uninspiring. I kept taking the wrong turning, trying to find the hotel - although that could just be me! My room was quite stuffy.

only had breakfast once and it was lovely with plenty of choice, room was clean and tidy,the bed was a little hard but i still managed to sleep. Staff are very polite and gracious,couldnt do enough for us.

Driving around to the car park gave me the oh oh what have we done, doesnt reflect the quality of the hotel. Wasnt sure about leaving the car but in the end it was fine. Stumbling block if we were to book again would be the fact you have to pay to park in something which isnt secure, no cameras etc.
