Tidy, clean, smart and all you needed. Staff were fantastic too and the shuttle bus to the airport saved money rather than taxi.

The room was exceptionally clean and, despite my initial thoughts on seeing the bed, it was extremely comfortable. The shower was superb. The staff were all excellent. Very warm and welcoming, even under the pressure of being inundated with weary travellers due to air traffic disruption at nearby Gatwick airport. The breakfast offering was really good and very nicely presented.

As soon as we opened the bedroom door there was a strong smell of drains. We were very concerned that this would cause us to have a disrupted nights stay however, we went down stairs for food and when we retired for the night, the smell had totally disappeared. This could have been caused by localised drainage issues due to the extreme weather conditions over the previous 24 hour period and therefore have been beyond the control of the hotel.

We booked the Ibis Styles following a late at night flight cancellation. The check-in process was friendly and efficient, and we were quickly able to get settled into our room. All of the reception team that we spoke to during our stay were exceptionally helpful. The room was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. There was a good choice for breakfast, and the restaurant team seemed to have everything under control, despite the high volume of unexpected guests that had arrived as a result of multiple flight cancellations.

There was some occasional road noise during the night, but we still got a good night's sleep.

Friendly and helpful staff. Full breakfast is reasonable priced. Menu for dinner was variable and well presented. Easy access for shopping in Crawley town centre, English pubs via car or bus. Although this hotel is fairly new, the staff on reception was very well equipped to answer any questions raised. Convenient for Gatwick airport with local buses, pick up point for airport shuttle, and also taxi services.

This is not a criticism, but some anti-slip mat should be provided in the shower as a preventative measure for guests with any type of disabilities to avoid accidents.

Location worked well. There's a direct bus from both terminals that stops outside and frequent, opposite a huge Tescos. Hotel decor is a retro style, nice seating, and quirky pieces dotted about. Room was spacious, quiet, comfy and clean with the best aircon! The in-room T&C facilities were a welcome sight as was the Bar on the ground floor. I'll stay again.

No complaints. Only a personal preference is the shower water temperature I'd liked to be much, much hotter than it was. It did the job but know you can't please everyone in the hotel business.

The hotel had all necessities for getting a bit of sleep before an early flight. The staff at the desk were pleasant and polite. A huge bonus is that an airport shuttle bus (£5 for a ride in July 2024) regularly stops just outside of the hotel. The hotel, quite helpfully, has the schedule on display. I would stay at this hotel again before an inconvenient flight from Gatwick.

I dropped a cap from my water bottle and when crawling to retrieve it I found quite a lot of dust under the bed. It could do with some mopping between the guests.

Room was amazing bed was very comfortable best sleep I’ve had in a while, reception was lovely with friendly staff and bar was amazing service was very good

Some of the staff need more training on coffee making.. although the coffee was ok to drink the frothed milk was not that great.. for some coffee is the best thing they can have in the morning and sets them up for a great day it has to be perfect. I would advise management to retrain or maybe even send staff on a short barista course

Convenient location, friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast Buffett (food could be hotter). Lovely clean & well equipped rooms. Less than 10min taxi to Gatwick north terminal.

Room 408 we seemed to get intermittent noise, not sure if this was from pipes or lift mechanism. It disturbed our sleep. A vending machine in reception for snacks, water etc would be helpful. We arrived very late after a flight cancellation & didn’t have any provisions.

Nice fresh property - it still smells new. The rooms are small, but well appointed. Shower was very nice, as were the pillows. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Gihan. Food in the restaurant - we had dinner and the included continental breakfast - was great.

I don't know if the queen and king mattresses are the same but my travelling companion and I both found the twin mattresses barely better than lying on bricks. At least a little give in a mattress is a good thing.

Clean room. I liked that they had USB outlets directly in the wall because I didn't have the correct plug (I only had USA and EU plugs for my electronics)

I told them in advance I was getting in very late and asked how the airport shuttle worked. They did not inform me that the shuttle does not run all night (and that it is 5 pounds each way). Luckily it turns out there were several city buses running that just involved a short walk.
