Garima was an amazing help from the first point of check in til the day we left. She helped us call and book a cab on our exit. She was so patient with us on checking in when it seemed like we were having some issues with our card and our luggage. She was so cheerful and caring and checking in whenever we passed the reception to know if we needed anything. The breakfast was amazing and something I always looked forward to. We had Manoj always on standby to assist us with anything we needed. I in particular loved the waffles, I had like 2 or 3 waffles every morning because of how amazing they were and Manoj would always opt to have it ready for me when I came down in the morning. I also loved the bacon which was of very high quality. I could tell cause of how soft and juicy it was. I also loved the fact that it was close to the train station and 2 bus stops. Less than 5 minutes away too from the train. It was so convenient when we had to move around. I love the ambience. I also made use of the gym. The equipment were not a lot but I love the mirror and the personalized space. I worked out a lot. It was so accessible and the towels.

The AC in the gym wasn't working well.

Everything was amazing But the best part was the breakfast..amazing,full of options and the waffles are delicious A big thank you to Manoj and Garima,(Hoping I wrote the name right) Manoj was amazing during breakfast,always polite and ready to give us a wonderful experience Garima at the reception always with a smile ready to make you comfortable during your stay A very amazing team!!! Room is big and you have your own bathroom,with soap and body cream(amazing),there is a hairdryer and the hotel is very quiet..we had a wonderful stay

The only thing was that they left our room window open the first day before the check in and when we came back was freezing,but they fixed straight away giving us a heather and the situation was fixed very fast..

Nothing, Although new towels I find should be provided in every hotel, daily, This is not a reflection on this hotel. As it was amazing in every way. Would Simply just love for all hotels to provide new fresh clean towels daily, So would be wonderful if the Hampton did this before other hotels as it would add even more value to this hotel. Even if staff where to knock on the door or place on a mat outside the door each morning if not to disturb consumers.

The staff are amazing!! The front desk was very supportive. France (front desk assistant) was amazing at answering my questions and helping me sort out any obstacles. She was so kind! Manoj was a great guy, too. He was so helpful! He went full dad mode on my way out. He was concerned that I had breakfast and coffee before I left. Very much a family vibe. This hotel was very clean and the support staff were so kind and sociable when moving around the building. Everyone had a smile, and it seemed like those who worked their both took pride in the space and truly enjoyed connecting with guests. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to london. Close to the train but also surrounded by lots of food options. The breakfast at the hotel is also very good. They had a little of everything, so it didn't seem like you had to eat the same thing every morning.

Honestly, I can't say much I didn't like. Overall, it was a really good experience.

The location was 5 min walk from East Croydon Station which was perfect for our visit. Price included breakfast which consisted of full English options, continental, toast, cereal, fruit,yogurt and coffee machines. All was hot and replenish during our visit. Room bit small but ok for double. Bed and pillows ok but could have been more comfortable. Room and bathroom clean. France on reception was lovely and very helpful. She was on duty during our visit and always had a smile and checked we were ok. Other staff were pleasant and friendly. Car park available opposite hotel. A local supermarket within walking distance. Small bar, Bigbox eatery and Nandos all 5 min walk away. Free WiFi which was good and available in room. A lovely couple nights stay at Hampton by Hilton

Pillows not comfy. Breakfast area can get crowded if you go down later.

A very good example of its category. Very convenient for where we needed to be. Would be convenient for anyone needing to get into London from East Croydon. Large and seemingly quite secure car park right across the road. Good showers, good internet, quiet, great blackout curtains and notably pleasant, helpful and enthusiastic staff. If I needed to stay in that area again I’d have no hesitation in picking this hotel again.

Nothing really not to like as long as one understands what this category of hotel sets out to do. Default heat setting in rooms a little too high but the windows open so no issue. One of two lifts was out of action the night I was there which was a nuisance but that happens sometimes.

Manoj & Garima was Amazing as we arrived late the night before they happily accommodated our late check out due to our late arrival we missed breakfast but this did not stop Manoj and Garima to provide me and my wife fresh coffee muffins for us to enjoy at no extra charge. Asif Kindly attended to my needs on arrival as the bar was closed he kindly accommodated me as I asked for a Double Jameson & lemonade witch I enjoyed in my room. - The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Manoj and his wife. We appreciate every effort. - Also, the lady who cleaned the rooms was really nice and made sure the room was clean every day. - breakfast was delicious. You can have vegan sausage and there is also gluten free bread. - We were provided with a free baby crib for our toddler. - The location and connection are brilliant: - There is a supermarket next to the hotel and many good restaurants nearby. - It's only a 3-minute walk to East Croydon train station, where there are always trains to the city. From there it only takes about 15-20 minutes to London city

The staff was very exceptional. Very friendly, always have smiles on their faces. Particularly Manoj who is always ready to help us out. The location is also good. It is just a few minutes walk to the train station. There are lots of fast foods and convenient stores near the hotel. All in all, we had a great stay. We would return to this hotel if we get back.

We had some problems with the TV and toilet but when we called about it, the staff were very prompt in answering our call. They immediately addressed and took care of the problems.

Excellent hotel, the rooms are small but there is enough space, the bed was clean and the mattress was comfortable, I’m glad that the shampoo and shower gel are not in samples but in bottles, you don’t have to run for each bag if necessary, the cleaning is exceptional, the girls do a great job cleaning, the breakfasts are very filling and varied and very tasty, the staff is very polite and attentive, thanks to the reception for help with questions, thanks to the guy who served breakfast in the morning, the location is just excellent, 20 minutes by train to the city center, I highly recommend
