It was comfortable. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. I only slept in the hotel, as I had plans elsewhere, so I didn't eat there on this occasion. However, I've had breakfast there before and it was nice.

That you have to pay for parking. This wasn't the case before, I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times before. I was informed by email that there was building work taking place and paid parking after the booking was made. The building work didn't affect me, maybe because it was the weekend, but maybe a note should be added to the hotel information before a booking is made. I'd booked a non-refundable room, so I had no choice but to stay there and pay for parking, otherwise I would have lost my money. The hotel is nice, though.

The accommodation was good. A nice big room - the bed was very comfortable. Good wardrobe space although more shelf space would have been preferred. The only shelf in the wardrobe held an iron and spare towels, but was also too high for me to comfortably reach. The bathroom was nice and clean. The toilet roll is placed in an awkward postiion, one has to be a contortionist to reach it. Disappointed with the shower, which wasn't very powerful. When i tried to lower the shower head, the whole attachment kept coming away from the wall. (I forgot to report it). Otherwise the room was good. I was very pleased with the service at dinner. Being gluten free (intolerance) and a red meat intolerance also i struggled with finding something suitable on the menu. However, the chef came out and spoke to me and went through the allergy menu with me and delivered my food to me which was very good. I could not fault the service from any member of staff. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

My Husband and I were attending a party at a nearby venue (Aug 2024) so we booked a double room for the night at the London Aerodrome. We were upgraded to an Executive double room which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean, spacious and had a large air conditioning unit which was very welcome due the summer heat. Also the bonus of a small fridge. We didn't partake of the hotel snacks other than a cup of tea but it was nice to be able to store our own water! The front desk staff were courteous and friendly. We didn't have any meals so can't comment on that. Overall we enjoyed our brief stay and would consider staying again if it suited our needs.

Good location- central Croydon. Excellent price £74 for a double room including breakfast for 2. Great hot cooked breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Parking available. Good sized room. Comfy bed and pleasing bar and dining areas plus loved the history of the place. Photos of Aviation History. There was once a thriving airport near there. A repeat stay as we stayed here in April 2023. Sorry no photos this time but look at the website. All good.

A little difficult finding things in the breakfast area- ordinary tea and bread to toast. I expect because they were very busy they did not top up the jams, teas etc. but once asked they were only too happy to help. Only a small inconvenience.

Very restful night’s sleep. Good soundproofing between rooms so did not hear any noise from other rooms. Staff very efficient, professional, approachable and polite. Was very pleased to find I had an upgrade to my room due to the ongoing refurbishments. I stayed in room 307 one of the executive double rooms instead of a standard small double I had booked. The bathroom fittings and the aerodome photo backsplash, spa shower head and heated towel rail were excellent and on theme with the hotel history. The bedroom was clean and spacious. The wardrobe was full size with hair dryer, ironing board safe and extra shelves and two more pillows. The curtains were a restful green good quality and lined, and drapes were elegant and the curtain was well fitted to provide total blackout and good sound insulation. Huge widescreen tv for any sports fan or movie lover and a full size desk. Elegant full size modern armchair. Nice clean mini fridge. Good variety of teas, decaf and regular coffee. But no hot chocolate sachets!

1. Disappointed there were no hot chocolate sachets in the tea tray selection. 2. The overall elegance of the bathroom was slightly marred by 2 cracked tiles on the bath side wall. The towel rail is over the toilet and there are no hooks or hanging rail on the opposite wall at the other end of the bath. The bathroom would benefit from a hanging rail at the end of the bath on the wall opposite the toilet, so that when you step out so you can easily reach the towel and there is somewhere to hang your robe or nightwear. 3. One of the pillow cases on the bed had something on it which showed it had not been changed.

Venue is location is good. Approachable and very friendly staff made us feel very welcome. I asked for extra pillows and received them straight away. Although there were no disabled spaces available, we were not charged as we displayed my badge. Your beds are amazing, best sleep ever!

Where our room was located, there was a bad odour, very musky. Me and my friends were rooms 14, 15 and 16. Neither of the coffee machines were working for breakfast initially. Room is a bit on the small side. We were only there 1 night so it was fine. Would defo stay again.

The hotel provided parking although at £10 per day but at least that was overnight and you could add the exact time of your stay when paying at the machine in the car park and so paid exactly for your stay. The family room we had booked was large and clean. Just right for a family of three. The beds were comfortable and the room was modern and clean. The bathroom contained a shower and a bathtub and was a good size. Breakfast was good with options for a fully cooked breakfast as well as cereals and toast. The coffee was also good.

It was very busy when we came down for breakfast and we had so search a while for an available table. The breakfast area has rather limited space for the size of the hotel.

Fantastic, kerb appeal, clean, tidy, well maintained. Inside just as presentable, very clean. Our Family Room was huge. Would suggest an overhead main light and a spot light over the tea coffee making area. The bathroom door had a dodgy handle on the inside, which we mentioned to the Receptionist on checkout, she then proceeded to type on the computer our concern. All the staff we encountered throughout our stay, were polite, courteous and friendly, reception staff extremely helpful, with the various questions we had regarding transport, as we were new to the area.

There is some great history surrounding the local area, which is highlighted in various places throughout the communal areas & the reception/bar area is very welcoming - it does feel like you are in a more luxurious hotel. We didn't have dinner or breakfast so can't make any comments on that - but we did have a good nights sleep, the bed was comfortable & the bathroom was modern and well equipped.

Despite being a double and getting a free upgrade from their standard room, I must admit we still felt it was quite small and little cramped, for example, I couldn't pull the chair to the desk, all the way out... it hit the base of the bed, so I had to squeeze in behind it, plus, with two people in the room getting ready at the same time, it was a bit 'hit and miss'.

The Hotel & The Staff Were Amazing. I Only Wish I New Beforehand That Renovation Was Being Done, As It Was A Little Annoying Hearing Drilling & Pounding In The Morning As I Was Already Trying To Adjust To The Time Frame & Needed More Sleep. Outside Of That It Really Was Amazing..Really Appreciated The Kindness Of The Staff, Especially Those At The Bar / Restaurant Area.

Renovations, Being Done At The Time Of My Stay, But It Was Still An Amazing Experience. After The Renovations Are Done I Think It Would Be Even Better. There Isn't Anything To NOT Like At The Hotel.
