I am age 72, and have been travelling full-time for several years all over the globe---2 years in the UK. Laundry is always an issue. Although I love the UK for many reasons, it is one of the world's most challenging and expensive places to get laundry done. Every three weeks, I typically send a large pillow case full of ordinary cheap cotton tourist clothing, weighing about 3 kg. for 'Service Wash', which is a simple wash, dry, and fold service, with no ironing or other special care. Moxy and several neighboring hotels use a third party service, called ALS for Aberdeen Laundry Service. In addition to dry cleaning, etc, they offer a same-day 'Service Wash', which is 'in by 9-----out by 5'. Pick-up and delivery are from the Moxy front desk. Payment is made at check-out time. The current fee for the 'Service Wash' is 18.50 GBP (23 USD) for up to 5 kg. I was somewhat suspicious because Moxy hotel guests never interact with laundry service personnel-----only Moxy hotel staff. However, my experience was very favorable, regarding quality of service, and promptness. The price was reasonable for the UK. I would recommend trying it.

The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. We found the hotel to be good value for money. There are luggage carts available and a taxi ipad so you can very easily book a taxi. The walk in shower was great for easy accessibility and the water pressure was very good. Free toiletries are in the bathroom.

The temperature of the room is difficult to adjust. The instructions were as follows: "If you're hot, turn the temperature control OFF (it is not possible to turn it either up or down) and open the window (which only opens to "kip"). If you are cold, turn the unit on and close the window. " The room remained quite hot even with the window open as far as possible, which is only a few inches. The bathroom is quite small. For one night this wasn't a problem. The hotel is a bit too far from the airport to walk, with luggage and there is no shuttle service. The very short taxi ride cost approx. 15 GBP.

The room was clean and excellently presented! The bed was very comfortable, and the size of the room was perfect for our needs and what we paid! The hotel itself was pretty quiet too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and very welcoming to our dog. I also appreciate that the hotel is dog friendly - makes it easier to travel with a canine companion.

The main issue was that the room was VERY warm overnight. We had the climate control on, and kept the window open but both of us were slightly uncomfortable. Also a small (very small) issue was that the promised chromecast to the TV didn't work.

Everything was lovely. The staff were really great, the guy who checked me in had a badge saying he was a new staff member, but this didn't show. He was very quick and friendly at checking me in Beds were so comfy, shower was great pressure and temperature and the soaps all smelled really nice Hotel looks absolutely beautiful, everything was very clean. I noticed Housekeeping cleaned my room as a stayover (I stayed 2 nights) and everything looked exactly as it did when I first checked in, on my second night!

My room was a wee bit cold, and the shower drainage wasn't the best so I stood in about a half inch of water whilst showering. Not a big deal though!

Easy going atmosphere. Nicely 'quirky' - I've never seen a pool table with pink felt before. Rooms very clean with very adequate amenities. Staff helpful.

The electrical socket by the bed was a continental one (2 round pins), not a UK 3 square pin. I use a CPAP machine and I had informed the hotel at the time of booking that I needed a socket near the bed. The hotel had no continental > UK adapter, so the manager had to go out and buy one for me! Very surprised and disappointed that a UK hotel did not have UK socket by the bed?? Also could not get wi-fi connection on my phone. Staff could not fix this for me and said it was an ongoing problem. TV service not great.

Check in was easy with the added welcome cocktail!! The hotel was easily reachable and only a 15 minute walk from the P&J Live. Our room was lovely, it was a family room as our 24 year old daughter was sharing with us. The living area had a sofa bed made up with her own TV which was a nice touch! The room itself had some nice touches, although the magic "knocking" door on opening was a bit freaky! The coffee machine was very modern with a nice selection of coffee pods. One thing that might be a nice added bonus would be a small fridge, but otherwise excellent value for money and the breakfast was very fresh and plenty of continental and hot choice!!

Everything was delightful! Absolutely nothing at all I didn't like!!

Very nice, comfortable and modern hotel close to the airport. Enjoyable breakfast with plenty options, including vegan. I've stayed in many airport hotels but this one was my favourite so far. Also big thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. The decor is interesting with a modern & relaxed twist. Games, books, chilling out zones are much appreciated. Room was very clean and comfortable, I don't mind the lack of a wardrobe because it makes the room more airy

Just a small thing - breakfast is served in a bar setting, not typical restaurant so maybe a bit uncomfortable with kids but we've managed:)

Worthy back-up from Christie as my stay at Moxy would have been shortened that 13th of June. Flight cancellation in Heathrow had postponed everything in my schedule and I was meant to unexpectedly stay overnight in the hotel between 13 & 14 of June, which was precisely the date of Elton's concert at PJ Live, with as a consequence all Aberdeen's hotels beeing overbooked. Christie assisted me so well that she blocked a cancelled room from Moxy's planning for me, allowing mw a comfy night instead of the Heliport benches than were in sight that day.

Nothing, but just a tip at the reception, the other side of the counter, there is that big pile with the electrical board. I think that would be the ideal place where to nail a huge Big Ben like clock with the local time being at every customer's catch (for the airport being close, taxis stop near by, customer night time bar control :))

A couple of simple little touches made a massive difference! Black out curtains and zero noise from any aircraft. Low level soft lighting comes on as soon as you step out of bed was an excellent touch. Happy staff. Engaging without being intrusive and great knowledge of the local area and services (bus times and routes etc) Room cleaned every day and fresh towels. Very comfortable bar and reception. Great pizzas too!! Was there for a whole week and would go back tomorrow! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Shame the treadmill was out of service.

Wow! Where to begin! The staff were extremely helpful and excelled on Customer Service. Welcome cocktail on arrival and just such a cool and trendy atmosphere! I had popped in the notes that it was My Partners Birthday and we are 10yrs married this year and our Room was giving the Star Treatment with warm welcome notes and a few complimentary beverages. Demitri and tall lady with blonde hair made this happen so thanks so much!

I'm an asthmatic (ain't easy being Wheezy). Room could have done with 2 pillows per guest but this is purely on personal choice...my partner was fine 🤣
