My room was lovely. Nicely decorated, plenty of natural light from the window, and everything was clean and tidy. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there was plenty of tea and coffee available (even though I brought my own coffee because I'm fussy!). The breakfast was really enjoyable, I had poached eggs with spinach both days and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I had dinner on both nights as well. The lamb on my second night was superb. And the dark fruits cider on draught was some of the nicest I've had. As a solo traveller, I was made to feel welcome from the start. From previous experience I've found places can often leave you feeling a bit excluded, especially as a solo female. But the staff were lovely and chatty, and the chef even had a chat with me when he brought my dinner out. This is a great base for exploring The Dales. I visit the national park several times a year and will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future visits. Thank you for a lovely stay, I only wish it could have been for longer!

The Street head in was just beautiful! A lovely lady behind the bar checked us in, we were a little late because of Friday traffic in Leeds, I asked my partner what time they finished food and he didn't know. The lady showed us to our beautiful room, gorgeous massive Victorian bed with the most fantastic mattress. ( I've looked on the mattress before we left to see what make it was as we were gonna buy the same, but there's no label on it! ) We went down for drinks and the lady told us she had reserved a table for us as she had heard us chatting about food, we thought this was really nice of her. We stayed for 2 nights and it was lovely. The food is out of this world, we spoke to the chef, but he wasn't willing to take our compliments just for himself, he was adamant that it is team work which makes his kitchen work well, I thought this was really nice of him to say. The location is just beautiful, regardless of the weather. All the staff were just fantastic and we couldn't have asked for anymore and we are most definitely going to return for another visit in the spring.

My only gripe was the pillows, myself and partner both suffered with neck pain after a few nights, as there was little support with them being feathered.

The WiFi was fantastic. When travelling for work this is really important and didn't disappoint. The room was large and clean and the provision of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits was a good standard. The bathroom had a good standard of soaps and moisturiser, big fluffy towels and was very roomy unlike some stays where they skimp on the bathroom size. My room was above the bar and although you could hear talking from downstairs, at bedtime there was no noise. The staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. The evening meals were usual Yorkshire classics plus a few surprises and very plentiful...farmer portions! Great views. Quiet and the pub has a garden area with lots of seating just across the lane to enjoy the views on a summers evening.

I have no real complaints as I wasn't expecting a modern high tech room with air conditioning, however if I could mention ......There was no mini fridge in the room which I prefer for fresh milk during my stay. Breakfast although lovely and plentiful was not served until 09:00 which when travelling for work means I have to leave beforehand. You can ask for an earlier breakfast but I didn't ask on this occasion.

Friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Great food not only breakfast but evening meals also. Lots of lovely places to visit. Don't miss West Burton waterfall or Aysgarth falls and walks. Scenery is amazing and varies from bubbling streams and thundering waterfalls to wild, awesome moors or long green valleys with attractive dry stone walls and barns and hundreds and hundreds of newborn lambs in May.

Late time for breakfast (9.00 to 9.30) although chef kindly came in an hour early when we needed it because of a long journey. No blankets available as alternative to a very warm duvet - fine for winter but not great for a warm summer night. However a couple of light throws were provided and staff helped as much as they could.

Wonderful stay, staff very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic views from my bedroom window with clean and comfortable facilities. I used the restaurant both nights I stayed and the food was excellent and well presented which was matched equally with the comprehensive and very tasty full English breakfast both morning which was served with a smile and warm welcome. The bar served a very good range of products including a very well kept 'Landlord' bitter. Great original country pub with a roaring log fire to warm the evening even better.

Nothing just the usual not being there for longer...may be next if not fully booked.

Everything! The room was lovely, spotless, and comfortable. Nice toiletries, bottled water, and local area guides. The staff are amazing, I felt really welcomed, which is especially important as a solo traveller The food is EPIC. Portions are huge, and everything is freshly made and piping hot. Breakfast is included, and there are plenty of options. You won't need anything else to eat until dinner. It's a great location as a base for exploring the dales.

That I only stayed for 2 nights. I'm definitely coming back!

We were very impressed with the rooms - the size, the comfort, the cleanliness and the attention to detail. It far exceeded our expectations and the online photos don't do the rooms justice. The pub itself was so enjoyable and the owners and chef were incredibly welcoming. Delicious dinner and breakfast, plus enjoyable banter with the locals. We're a family of four and would highly recommend this accommodation to everyone.

We only stayed one night and wish we could have spent more time there.

We stayed here recently as a fairly large family group, as a surprise for my husband's birthday. We made lots of changes to our plans in the weeks and days leading up to our stay, and the staff were patient and accommodating, nothing was a problem. The rooms are gorgeous with amazing views. I can't compliment the chef enough, the food was amazing. Everyone in our group loved everything about The Street Head Inn and we are all looking forward to visiting again.
