Very friendly, and dog friendly! Room was immaculate, and perfect for purpose.

One issue, lots of dog bags outside front entrance. As a dog owner, this annoyed me but when walking my dog I discovered there wasn’t a bin in the car park for dog poo so no wonder people left them there even if it’s still lazy of them. But bins at the entrance are a must! It’s my only real issue. The entrance smelled of dog wee, yet another issue with allowing dogs and I accept that. Again, I made my dog go away from the entrance, to not make this worse. Maybe a bit of soapy water thrown over it will hell reduce the smell and it’s probably done regularly anyway to be fair to the hotel.

Did what you expect from a hotel 🏨 & Don't have any complaints other than I don't think you should pay for parking 💁‍♂️ I know we're in la la land now & the government's are out of control & everything they go on about is a lie & the media confirms it all but a lie is a lie 💁‍♂️ obedience is what gives tyrants their power 💁‍♂️ the more we go along the more insane they will be like 20 mph limits like global warming were actually going into an ice age this all about something else 🤡 so clown world 🌎 or real world 🤷‍♂️

It can honestly say it was the best laid-out room for a wheelchair user/disabled person I have ever been in (I am fortunate to travel across Europe every month and we stay in all kinds of accommodation, from standard to high luxury).The staff were friendly, professional and welcoming. They were proactive and really great whenever we needed a little assistance. There was a good selection of snacks, both sweet and savoury, in the chiller cabinet for after hours arrivals to buy, at fair prices too.

The breakfast was nothing special. The hot food was tasteless, only tepid and quickly went cold on the cold plates. The fruit juice was pretty miserable too. I would suggest skipping it and getting back on the road.

Beds were comfy and room was a nice size, clean and airy.

I asked the receptionist about the best way to get to sandy park and I don't think he even knew what sandy park was. I think you should have people more knowledgeable about the local area on front of house. The shower wasn't great...kept running hot then cold and the head wasn't firing the water as it should. Breakfast was easily the worst hotel breakfast I've had in a while. Also I don't think having paid over a hundred pound for one night in a basic room we should then have to pay 5 pounds to park.

> food was low quality, and perhaps expensive (although things are more expensive in England, so it may have been normal) > the room was not the cleanest, the sofa was stained and the place was quite dusty > the room decor could have done with freshening up in general > it is a pet friendly hotel (which is advertised) so a dog did bark which woke up our baby but that's not the hotel's fault really but wanted to mention it

Great hotel , lovely happy helpful staff , good choice of buffet breakfast all fresh and restocked quickly. The cleaners seem to work round the clock ,constantly cleaning hallways and our room was done daily

Not the hotels fault atall ,but we stayed when a local dog show was on , so hotel full of dogs which the kids loved as plenty to pet , but one or 2 owners were letting their dogs pee at the front entrance and by the end of the week the smell was overwhelming

Friendly reception, helpful, lovely clean room, with comfortable bed, breakfast was great, plenty of choice, nicely cooked. Nice bar facilities, I liked the choice of take away continental breakfast

Inthe evening ordered bar meals, my daughters pasta was lukewarm we had to warm it up in microwave, my chips were half cooked, everything was a bit bland my granddaughter had to put ketchup on her bolognaise to give it more flavour so a bit disappointed in that. At breakfast juices were very watery, so had to ask them to sort it out, was OK then.

The hotel was in a good place for an overnight stop the staff were all excellent and very welcoming, we had a meal in the evening which was very good and breakfast was excellent value and very well cooked.

We do not agree with having to pay parking extra if you are stopping in the hotel although the room was at the back and very quiet the two lots of women that woke us at 1.30 am and again at 2.30am ish was not very good laughing and talking at the tops of their voices perhaps this could somehow be policed by staff a little better but really beyond the control of the staff just ignorant public.

Friendly helpful staff, The Location and the Breakfast.

We stayed 4 nights and on our first night we didn’t get much sleep due to a family who had 3 rooms next to ours and across from us, who were making lots of noise, children shouting & running from room to room. Even after the night manager had spoken with them, they still continued until the early hours in the morning. We asked the night manager how long they were staying and were told they had another 2 more nights so we asked if we could be moved to another floor in the morning. The next day the Staff apologised and gave us a new room and the rest of our stay was perfect!

Convenient parking at a reasonable cost, but easy to operate. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. When we had a problem with a noisy fan in the room they arranged a swap quickly and efficiently. Thank.you. The Holiday Inn is located conveniently for access to city and airport, and for us within 10 minutes of our family so ideal for a visit. The room was warm comfortable and spotless. The bed and bed linen were good quality. The bathroom and shower were both functional and practical with soft fluffy towels so you can't ask for more. Breakfast was a bonus with a good selection to help yourself. Continental and cooked were both available. Juice, Tea and Coffee were readily available too although coffee wasn't the best - opt for the tea as there was a good selection.

Coffee at breakfast was the only minor issue.
