The hotel was in walking distance of the bus stop and train station centrally located to the main square and 2 mins walk to the lovely beach. My hotel sea room view was nice cosy and exactly what I needed as stated 'sea view' clean, comfortable and peaceful lovely bathroom and shower with a sea view also lots of nice smelling shower gel also by the sink hairdryer large TV bed to die for..I propped myself up in splendid luxury in the eve. There were tea and coffee making facilities if you needed extra the staff would be on hand at reception to get you more, room fan also. All staff were very nice and helpful / welcoming receptionist lady on entering and leaving, breakfast excellent good choice the lady working on her own there in the morning was very efficient, breakfast was plentiful and hot. You have the choice of eating at the nice restaurant or having a drink at the bar which looked cosy peaceful and comfortable. The area Beacon Hill had a row of very interesting houses with blue plaques and alot of historical relevance I read them all to do with the navy Nelson and Byron beautiful area. All in all if I need to stay in Exmouth again I will stay at this hotel. I recommend the Infusion Arts Cafe on the corner you can sit outside I read the blue plaque it was a pharmacy originally in the 18 century. Forgot to say hotel has a lift which was very useful as I had several bits of luggage. Brilliant stay thank you all and the weather was amazing to I highly recommend it.

Nothing all was excellent.

Reception staff were very good, friendly and helpful, hotel was very clean and tidy, room was serviced daily lovely big ensuite shower, and Seaview room was great.

Monday night, lack of staff to run the bar, reception staff covering the bar with no knowledge of drinks or prices, trying her best to satisfy everyone, not good for her or customers. We understood that Exmouth almost shuts down Monday and Tuesday, but staff should be available, Hotel obviously needs to recruit more staff. Toilet brush in room dirty, requires replacing, reported to receptionist as we left, she was most apologetic and would replace.

Lovely location a few minutes from the beach with manor gardens all so close, great room and very pleasant staff. Very reasonably priced hotel room for what we got. If I was going to Exmouth again I would use it. We didn't eat at the hotel as we aren't big breakfast people but I'm sure it was lovely. So close to nice restaurants and the town. The station was so close we had a day trip to Exeter (half hour train). I'd recommend the ice cream on the seafront too.

Parking is a bit of a faff, unless you manage to get a parking space on the road outside which there is a lot of competition for. I think the hotel have some spaces round the back but I think there are only a few and charged quite highly. Room lighting could have done with a few more lamps; it was just a bit white and stark.

This is probably the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in, but then Exmouth is a very friendly place, too. The staff were wonderful, and I had the best of conversations. The room was fine, if a little small, and it was nice to have a bar to sit at in the evening. The location is excellent, a short walk from the beach and the town. You can walk for miles along the beach and the cliff pathway which I reached from the end of the beach.

Sadly, breakfast was a big disappointment. There were no fresh rolls, and it was all a bit unwelcoming - which stands in contrast to the hotel as a whole. If you want a cooked breakfast, you won't get it here...

The property was ideally situated with only a five minute walk from the beach and a two minute walk from the town. We had amazing views from our room over the bay. The room was bright and airy, and had a modern and spotless bathroom. The staff are brilliant, especially Salima and Kez, who were incredibly helpful and gave some good recommendations.

On street parking was hard to find , the hotel does have private parking but at £12 per night, was quite pricey . having said that, we did manage to find street parking by the hotel each of the four nights.

The room was excellent. Better than what I had requested - it appears I was upgraded, as I was expecting something less impressive being a single occupant. The breakfast was very good, too. A wide choice and selection of various foods to suit all pallets and nothing was too much trouble. For instance, I was due to leave early for a boat trip and being early for breakfast was not a problem.

As far as I could see, from the short time I stayed, there was nothing to complain about. Everyone was pleasant and helpful and smiled all of the time when greeting you, making one feel comfortable and welcome.

The Manor Hotel was an exceptional place to stay. The staff were very friendly and very helpful with what I imagine quite a difficult booking with quite a number of us staying and changes being made. They bent over backward to ensure everything went to plan for us starting the Jurassic walk the following morning, so we were able to leave on time, they made breakfast early. The bar was very well stocked and comfortable, the food was fantastic

I didn;'t like having to leave the hotel. As above everything went to plan and was very welcoming and comfortable. Great sun rise in the morning

We enjoyed our stay. I booked two rooms and had asked for one room with a walk in shower and this was organised. Great rooms with sea views. I would like to praise the lovely lady, (I am so sorry that I have forgotten her name,) who set up a table in the bar with cutlery, plates and even serviettes so that our small group could have our takeaway at the table together. The restaurant was unfortuneatly shut but she did her best to make up for this. I also liked the fact that you could open a window a bit to let air in. At some places I have visited this hasn't been possible.

It's not really something I didn't like, but I will mention that there seem to be a few automaticaly generated e-mails that get sent. Before my stay I got several similar messages that were in fact wrong. This could be a bit confusing. I telephoned and everything was as it should be but it might be worth the hotel having a look at the system.

Loved the relaxed vibe of the hotel, staff very welcoming and friendly, felt immediately at ease. Had a lovely view and the perfect location! 5 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the town and near some great pubs and restaurants.

The style of the hotel is mostly outdated, and there’s little things that are “broken”, for example the cold tap did not say ‘cold’ on the top as it has broken off. Nothing that bothered us though!
