Beautiful location, lovely staff, great spa itself. Plenty to do, restaurant was nice and not overpriced.

We had an issue both nights that we stayed as we could not get into the restaurant until 20:30 due to functions at the time, there had been no prewarning of these and the bar were not offering cocktails due to this also. Bit of a let down as we had booked months in advance and not had any heads up that there would be loud noise, lots of people and limitted facilities. - likely would have booked elsewhere had we known this.

Frensham exceeded all of our expectations. Rooms were surprisingly large and spacious, bed was huge could fit 3 people if you wanted, has up to date Air Con units, the quality throughout the room and bathroom was great - no complaints! We stayed for a nearby wedding, but felt like we were on a retreat at Frensham. The hotel grounds and communal areas are lovely and well kept. We used the gym facilities, which is connected to a large open terrace. Breakfast selection was great. Dinner / food was a surprising hit. Staff were so lovely, the head chef even came out to greet us! A general lovely and relaxed feeling around the hotel.

No spa / pool access for guests. We did not see this small print, however I believe guests should by default have access to the pool and was a huge reason for booking. Spiders and webs in many corners of the building! Bathroom plumbing made noises which can be disturbing at nights sleep.

Breakfast and location were lovely. Room was spotless and well supplied. Beds were very comfortable.

Staff were polite but some were not always as welcoming or as helpful as they might have been. For instance, we asked for help in booking a taxi but were just shown some business cards and left to sort it out for ourselves. Also my daughter booked a z bed for her daughter but no pillows were supplied. When they phoned down to ask for more they were told housekeeping had gone home. They had to insist someone find some, which they did in the end. I would expect more from a 4 star establishment.

Our Executive Garden View was spacious & had a good semi-covered outside seating area. The bathroom, with a walk-in shower was well equped. The restaurant was good & particularly the Full English Buffet Brakfast, apart from the fact that at 9.05am, they run out of fresh bread & only had white sliced!! The location beside Frensham Pond was lovely. Our main reason for staying there was to visit the Sculpture Park, which was just about 2 miles away & was well worth a visit.

Inititially just one lady trying to manage a very busy Breakfast room. Eventually one of the reception staff came to help!

Lovely big bedroom with a beautiful view. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Continental could be improved. We enjoyed cocktails in the lovely bar area, and although it got very late and we were the only 2 left, we were welcome to stay as long as we wanted, or at least that how it felt. The outdoor space with a view across the pond was a very relaxing way to drink a coffee in the morning. Beautiful setting and location. I would definitely come again. Next time I may use the spa facilities. I have very few minor "what didn't you like" just to put something in the box.

Continental breakfast was a bit lacking for me. Perhaps fresh cheese laid out and not chunks of it wrapped in hard plastic, floating in ice water. Cheese is to be enjoyed at room temperature is it not. A large dish of greek or natural yoghurt to help yourself to, along with a homemade granola would have been spot on for me, to go alongside the pots of strawberry yoghurt and dried fruits that were not for me. Albeit there were 2 fruit danish pastries left, I did not see any croissants (my favourite) I felt the cutlery was a bit cheap for such a grand hotel, but these are all minor things in comparison to a beautiful stay in a beautiful hotel.

We loved everything about this hotel. The room we stayed in (Number 40) over looked the small green and the garden suites. The room, bed and bathroom were extremely spacious the walk in shower was a dream. We had lunch on the terrace over looking the pond, which was beautiful especially as the sun was shinning. The reception staff were very engaging and helpful. The buffet breakfast was extremely good and was kept replenished at all times. There was plenty off parking, which was safe and secure.

I can't think of anything to dislike about this Hotel.

Stunning location. Great for walking. All staff polite friendly but not intrusive. Everyone from the cleaners gardeners catering and reception were immaculately dressed for the purpose of their job. Special mention for reception lady (sorry didn't catch your name) what a lovely lady. Greeted us warmly and explained the basics for our stay. Food was excellent I can highly recommend the chicken and avocado salad.

Bed was a little firm for us but that's personal preference and won't stop us coming again. We do like a shower and a bath when away so the trend everywhere to only have showers is not the best. However the shower was lovely. Good pressure and easy to set temperature.

Lovely location over looking Frensham Great Pond. Beautiful walks on the doorstep. Swimming zones in the lake. Lots of interesting local history. Food was good in the Waterfront restaurant and the bar food looked good. The garden room had outdoor table and chairs overlooking the lawn and lake beyond. The garden rooms are cosy and intimate and quiet but only a few yards from the hotel entrance. Good number of parking spaces.

A bit difficult getting there as Fareham is a bottle neck and very busy, and you need to go through there to get to the M3. A bit understaffed, so things can take a bit longer than usual. Some things were missing in our room. Only 2 coat hangers in the wardrobe and no chest of drawers, so not much space to put things and no coat hooks for wet jackets.

Stayed for 2 nights in an executive double room. The surrounding area was lovely. The outdoor seating areas were comfortable and relaxing but the garden area near the lake needs a bit TLC and ongoing ground maintenance to keep it nice. The food was nice with plenty of choices and served quickly. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely stay again if visiting this area again.

No elevator to bedrooms, so this could be tricky for less able bodied people to get to their room.

Return stay at Frensham Pond Hotel, highly recommended and the staff are excellent and caring. Food and drink are top quality either for breakfast of evening meals. Rooms are comfortable and quite spacious and the showers are lovely.

Absolutely Nothing to dislike - even the little things like the separate parking area near the hotel entrance for elderly persons of those with mobility concerns, entrance spotless and even early in the morning the staff are busy making sure everywhere is fully presentable 10/10
