I stayed with an old friend at the Binton Guest House for three nights recently, in mid-November. We received a warm and genuine welcome from Julia and Graham and this set the positive atmosphere for the duration of our stay. The twin-bedded room was comfortable, very clean and well equipped with a small bathroom and an efficient shower on-suite. Breakfast in the dining room offered a very good choice and the quality of the English breakfast and the excellent poached eggs on toast exceeded expectations. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. We will return and we have no hesitation in recommending the Binton Guest House to family and friends.

The stay was extremely comfortable and our hosts were very welcoming. The hosts gave us lots of local information that we made full use of. The premise was well decorated, very clean and most requirements were catered for.

We were the only ones having breakfast and the table allocated was next to a very hot radiator and a very bright sunny window. There was a loose glass shelf in the bathroom that needs to be replaced with a more substantial shelf that will hold a toilet bag. The hot water took quite a long time to reach the shower.

Breakfast was good, although we do like fruit salad rather than whole fruit. Location was fantastic - just round the corner from the main shopping area - and quite close to a sea view and the beach.

The shower was a little 'weak'. The flow of the water was narrowed to the central area of the shower rose & was not able to be adjusted. Also, we had an annoying wardrobe with two doors which were difficult to keep closed.

The breakfast was very good. There was a wide choice available. The cooked breakfast was great :) The room was comfortable and warm to the extent that we did not use the quilt/ duvet. The bed was also comfy. We did not use the tv so cannot comment.

Binton Lodge is maintained to a high standard with great attention to detail. It's conveniently located for the town and beaches. Hosts Graham and Julia are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The owners are lovely and very friendly. The guest house is in a perfect location for train shops and beach all walking distance.

The room was a bit small with no view I didn’t find the beds very comfortable, too soft for my liking. The elastic in the fitted sheets had gone, so kept falling off. Very heavy duvets, although we did find blankets in the cupboard.

Location could not be better, convenient for shops etc.Breakfast was very good plenty of choice.
