Location was perfect for where I needed to be and that it really was dog friendly. The staff were exceptionally helpful to me as a solo traveller with a dog with carrying bags etc The room was very spacious with a good size tv and tea and coffee provided even the offer of fresh milk if required. Breakfast was excellent . Lovely grounds for walking my dog

The rooms are slightly “ tired” it’s an older property .. but the main thing for me was not being able to open the windows due to the locks .. a fan was provided and it did help but some fresh air would have been preferable and I would of slept better. There was no overhead light and although there were lamps/ wall lights in keeping with the room it was hard at night to read with the poor light .

Lovely and peaceful, lovely scenery, the waitress that served us drinks and food was very pleasant and looked after us well during our stay

Our room only had french doors that we weren't allowed to open that had a table and chairs outside that would of been nice to be able to get out and have open during our stay, no other windows to open ,we wanted to change room but was unable to as fully booked. So only offer we had was a free drink at the bar and a fan for a really hot day ,much prefer some airflow ,just found this made the room feel so much over priced ,would of been happier if they allowed the doors to open

Gorgeous location and charming building, but it does need some refreshing. Our room carpet was particularly tired and the drape pulls didn’t work. We know it’s an old building so hope it gets the maintenance it deserves. Staff were lovely; dinner delicious. Continental breakfast as expected.

Might have been nice to have had a less expensive menu option for the bar. Pictures in our room not well positioned- just heater skeletons.

What a delightful, beautiful hotel. Ok, its not the most modern up to date, all signing and dancing spa hotel, but simply a very comfortable, quiet and very welcoming hotel with excellent customer service. The house is beautiful, old and quirky with open fireplaces and a warm welcoming feel.

Clearly this hotel does need a little upgrade here and there, the bar area could be developed to be more welcoming, but overall not an issue.

What a stunning place Flitwick Manor is. I booked this months in advance having no real idea of what it was or where, I just needed something within a taxi ride of the MK Stadium. This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The location is stunning didn't get to walk much of the grounds as we had other plans unfortunately but the peace and tranquility at this place is exceptional. The staff were so friendly and couldn't help enough. The whole set up is just lovely and the management should praise their staff for making and maintaining this place to the level that it is.

Does not having enough time there count ???? I have nothing that I did not like about the place.

Lovely location. Lovely food. Lovely staff. And lovely property. However! Requires just a little money into it the fine details like cracks on walls and blown light bulbs and worn tired accessories. It’s a beautiful manor and lovely staff and views but just lacking attention too detail or lacking money to invest. If best western invested in just refreshing it with some fresh accessories and a lick of pain and beating up cables and soon aesthetics this hotel would be stunning and rack in so much more money. But overall lovely stay!

The price of afternoon tea considering champagne or Prosecco wasn’t included. And of course the tired appearance but again didn’t overly bother me

The room was comfortable and the facilities therein were adequate. The breakfast was excellent with a wide and varied choice. The service, both in the dining room and throughout the hotel, was extremely friendly and efficient.

The hot tap in the sink of our bathroom required five or six turns before any water came out and the toilet cistern didn't always completely shut off so water overflowing into the bowl. There was also a very strange arrangement with regard to operating the bedside lights. It seems that these could only be switched on and off at a switch just inside the door of the room. So having read a chapter or two in bed, it was then necessary to get up, go over to the door, switch off the lights and return to bed in the dark !!

Room was really spacious & decorated beautifuly. Great view of the gardens. Had all the necessary amenities. Everything was clean. Staff were friendly & professional. Lovely place to stay if you're in the area.

Had asked for some very early breakfast to be brought to the room. Was a bit of a miscommunication & had to call down for it when it didn't arrive. But was brought up within 5 minutes!

Lovely building and grounds with ample parking. The welcome was friendly and business like. The receptionist kindly told me she wouldn't be long since she was booking in a couple ahead of me. Plenty of choice for breakfast. I chose a full English with a pot of tea and I could ask for more teas if required. My room (17) was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

My room was spacious, but requires re-decoration. Bathroom: the sink's enamel was cracked and the shower was difficult to turn off completely. I mentioned the latter to the receptionist.

Staff were not just friendly - they were kind. Our stay was to meet up with close friends who live far away and the staff were so understanding of what this meant to us. It was little things like bringing us biscuits along with the extra milk we'd requested (we were catching up before dinner over lots of tea!). They didn't need to do that, but it's the sort of care that would have us re-booking.

Dinner in the evening was delicious and the menu interesting but, if I'm absolutely honest, I would have appreciated a slightly larger main course. I have agonised over mentioning this and considered whether or not my expectation was unreasonable for the fixed price (for two courses). However, comparing my 'main' - which was delicious, by the way - to my first course (also excellent), it was simply that my eyes were not completely satisfied.
