For £70 a night you can’t go wrong. This hotel is a 1 minute drive from McDonalds for easy food and a 3 minute drive from a Harvester restaurant. There’s a local corner shop down the road left which helps too. The staff I found were friendly and really welcoming. This was really good to see. The room was clean, tidy and the bed I must say was a comfortable king size. Facilities were great, shower pressure being fantastic, complimentary coffee and tea (only downfall was the kettle was dirty inside so I had to use the downstairs kettle boiler) but everything else was great for £70. With a light breakfast included which consisted of cereals, bread, butter and jam, yogurt and croissant you can’t complain. Overall a good stay, myself and partner would choose this hotel. Don’t expect 5 star but expect a very good room worth £70. Very good thank you Redwings.

Only fault I could find was the kettle was dirty with what appeared to be black dirty coffee water so I had to use kettle downstairs. I presume this was missed when cleaning. Didn’t affect our stay at all, only a minor fault.

Good size room with work desk, kettle etc. Good shower / ensuite and plenty of hanging space. Good choice of buffet breakfast. Microwave and Fridge for guests use. Plenty of off street Parking. Good secure Wi-Fi ideal for work and plenty of free tv channels for chilling out after work. Comfy Bed and clean room throughout Good value for money & nice place to stay for Work and or onward Travel to Luton Airport. 24hr Reception is a plus with 24/7 cctv covering Car Park etc. Helpful Reception Staff & Good House Keeping

No guest lounge and very little seating for breakfast / evening meal, so l had to eat in my room. Not a huge problem but more amenity space for eating and socialising would be nice.

We have stayed here before, always a comfortable and pleasant stay, rooms are spacious and clean We recently had a dog and could take him for an extra small fee which was fantastic. There’s a microwave and fridge to use 24 hours a day. There is a grass area around the perimeter of the building with lots of seating areas, ideal to walk the dog and sit outside for a tea or coffee break or even eat. Staff are always on hand and extremely pleasant and helpful

There’s nothing not to like about this property if I had to say something about my stay it would be the people above our room were a little noisy but I think they had young children so this is only to be expected but we still managed a good nights sleep

We were later arriving than anticipated, but found desk staff friendly, understanding and welcoming. Ivan, (night manager) explained access, fire precautions and breakfast arrangements, repeating when I asked him to(my concentration was shot). Pleased to find all night access available for dog walking (important for us). Room basically equipped but more than adequate, clean and tidy. Shower was over bath so not accessible to my wife, (mobility issues) but ok for 1 night. Breakfast (Bread and cereals, yoghurt, milk, tea/coffee and juices with a good range of choices) was available in the stairwell area from about 6.00 am onwards.

Disappointed to find that next-door restaurant currently closed,(June 2024) but we'd eaten en-route, so no great hardship. Presumably when it reopens, cooked breakfasts will be available. Open access from public reception area to accomodation areas. Not a problem if desk is constantly attended (which it seemed to be) but unusual in my experience.

We needed a quick stay after our late flight landing into Luton. This property was about 20mins from the airport which was fair. Unfortunately our flight was delayed and our booking was wiped from the system after 3am but the receptionist was very kind to still give us our room and said we can sort the room issues in the morning. The room was prepared exactly how I had asked - baby cot already available so we could just get straight to bed. This was amazing to see because bigger hotels don’t usually get this request right. Even though we had breakfast included we overslept so I cannot comment on the quality. The room was clean, comfy and spacious and well prepared with clean towels and sheets. Coffee and tea provided in the room.

Unfortunately I didn’t double check the check out time on the listing which was 10am which is quite early. I did however inform redwings prior to our arrival that we would be landing late and require a late check out. Didn’t get any response from the host so assumed all in order. We were woken at 10.20am and given until 11am to get done. Quite a rush but thankful we had a few extra minutes.

We stayed here 3 nights earlier in a different room, either side of flights and trip from Luton Airport. This experience was 100% better than earlier in the week. The room was clean, perfect temperature, the bed was firm and comfortable. Breakfast was a real welcome addition. Great value for money!

Only little niggles for the rate we paid... Maybe two chairs in the bedroom for eating breakfast would improve our experience? We also only had 2 mugs set up in the room despite the booking be for 3 people.

Have stayed here previously and stayed again for the Silverstone Grand Prix last weekend. Staff couldn't be more helpful and accomodating. Although basic we had all the facilities we needed including access to a communal fridge and microwave; and breakfast was an added bonus too with two hungry young boys. Family room was spacious and comfortable. I can't actually fault our stay. Would definitely recommend but you just have to appreciate and acknowledge that this is a budget hotel! I would definitely stay here again without a doubt! Nb: Best if you do have your own transport due to the location but there is a local bus service; bus stop I used was the opposite side of the road to the post office in Hockliffe (about a 15 minute walk from the hotel) and used this to go into Dunstable for the afternoon whilst my husband went off to Silverstone. There is also a Macdonalds down the road from the hotel which is walkable too.

Perhaps could do with a lick of paint in some areas and a gradual refurb in future years. Also would be better if the 'non-chargeable' checkout could be slightly later than 10am especially if you have children to get round and out!

Continental breakfast available from 6.00 am was great, for as a Type 1 Diabetic hypos, due to low sugars attributable to change in daily routines being away from home, did occur but easily resolved with your early breakfasts! As a bilateral below-knee amputee and prosthetic legs wearer, I found the bed at a good height for me to put on and take off my two prodsthetic legs. Disabled bathroom facilities were adequate, with the WC being excellent, but around the sink rather poor - for me a plastic chair arms would have been a major improvement for me. The bedroom could have benefited with a chair with chairs, as more appropriate for me rather than the chair without arms provided. Overall better than most, but could do better! Happy to return again and booked for a short stay in late June.

Just a motel with everything you need. Self service (continental) breakfast to be eaten in the rather big room (or in the lobby), guest fridge, lots of parking, directly on the A5 (20 min. to MK). Green for the dogs. Good to sleep for a good price, not too loud. clean, they accept dogs.

traffic jam in the rush hours because of a red light at Hogkliffe nearby, rather impersonal, no restaurant in walking distance, but some nearby (everybody is here by car anyway).
