The staff were friendly from the moment we got there, even thou we were late getting there, the room was excellent. We did not have an evening meal at the hotel as were meeting friends locally but we did have breakfast which was excellent and very filling, set us up for the rest of our journey.

Although the hotel was stunning, it is showing signs of a bit of neglect, with scrapes in the wall paper up the stairs where things have been banged against the wall, and the view from our room over the roof of reception you could see the flashing on the roof is in need of repair and in the dining room the blinds need some attention too I know these are only minor things and non of it effected our stay there but it does seem to be a common thing with Best Western that you have stunning hotels that slowly fall into disrepair which is a shame.

The hotel is in a really nice location and is well maintained throughout. We stayed to attend a fancy dress party at some friends nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful - they even helped make part of one of our costumes for the party! The room was really spacious and comfortable with a large double shower bathroom. We had breakfast the next morning which was excellent. Will definitely stay here again

Our room was next to the stairs which were very creeky with people going up and down them so was a little noisy. However that was only a little minor thing

On entry to the hotel we were met with a very friendly and helpful person behind the reception, I was very tired and went to sleep for a couple of hours when my wife woke me up and we went down to the restaurant for an evening meal, which was lovely really enjoyed it. Forgot to say earlier when we got into the room it was lovely and clean, windows had been left open a little and it was nice fresh smell in the room, so we were happy with that too. Don’t like a horrible smelling room.

I know people are hard to please having worked with the public, but we were satisfied with the room and hotel, so not much to complain about I’m afraid.

we loved everything about the hotel! the rooms were lovely and comfortable and the staff had put fans in each room as the weather was very hot..this was much appreciated! the staff were just so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us..from the maintenance man who was chatting to us, the ladies who cleaned the rooms, the night porter, and the manager and deputy manager everybody was just so lovely! we said we’d go back there just to stay at the hotel again for a night as we enjoyed it so much! the breakfast in the morning was thoroughly enjoyable too..very tasty! thank you so much for your hospitality everyone…you are all a great credit the hotel!

the fact that we had to leave to go home!!

Being able to check in late. Large bed with warm duvet. Big bath towels. Hot water. Bar open late. Good choice at breakfast. Chirpy staff (even late at night and first thing in the morning). No noise from other rooms. USB port in the telly saved my skin as my phone was dead.

TV only had bbc 1 & 2 working. The bathroom was ready for a deep clean. There were a few hairs on the floor which weren't mine. Finally, the breakfast was delicious, but I think they forgot to cook the sausages! A little too undercooked for me.

Every single member of staff was lovely. From the reception upon arrival, to the various restaurant staff and those in the bar - they all served with a smile and a chat - all seemingly genuine people who wanted you to enjoy your stay. The food was nice. The location was lovely and it was a quiet hotel, despite being busy. The restaurant and bar area was nice - a relaxing environment.

The room was a little disappointing - just a little dated, although the size was good. The bathroom could also do with a bit of modernising. My husband struggled with the low mirror in the bathroom when shaving too. The breakfast choice was good, but unfortunately the fruit was kept a little close to the heat lamps so was warm, and there were a few flies landing on the food. I also didn’t appreciate when booking that we would need to go down steps to our room, which was in a separate block to the hotel - not ideal with bags and being a bit unsteady.

Only booked for one night as somewhere to sleep after a concert however was very impressed. The venue is lovely, beautiful gardens with a large pond and waterfall at the entranc. Staff were really friendly and helpful, check in was quick and easy, good parking facilities, I stayed in The Cottage and although small my room was quaint and old fashioned in a cosy quirky way. The bed was comfortable. Checkout was also easy and quick

I do think the room in The Cottage could be updated slightly, i liked the old beams and walls which I assume are original features but the carpet was old and dusty and the bathroom was outdated. You can hear people talking in the next room but luckily I brought earplugs. Just needs a bit of a spruce but nothing major. The room was also cold - maybe an extra blanket would have helped

Good value for money great service from receptionist who was on Christmas Eve afternoon onwards and Christmas day as well, saw her deal with miserable customer before me with professionalism and smile, when I complained of shower malfunction immediately moved us to a diff room with better facilities and outlook!

The breakfast was delicious.The bacon was cooked perfectly, Sausage,eggs tomatoes,mushrooms,beans,plenty of it and hot.I had fresh fruit which was excellent.Lots of other choices.Friendly staff.Location was great,for our Wedding which was just down the road.

Could do with better sign at entrance we passed it with sat nav and went up a private lane. There were a few too many steps down to our room.(an age thing!?)

In a quiet village location, steeped in history. Our room was beautiful and bed very comfortable We ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food was great, we also ate at the village pub and the Thai restaurant during our stay both of which offered fantastic food The staff could not do enough to ensure that we were welcomed and looked after Thank you xx Would definitely stay here again

The price !!! however it was Silverstone weekend so all of the hotels were extortionate in price
