The location was stunning, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well decorated and the bathroom was beyond what we expected in terms of size and having a bath as apposed to just a shower. We had an email in advance to inform us that this is a working quay in a busy street and attached to a busy pub so there may be noise. But we didn't have any issues with noise during our weekend stay. Dinner in the pub was lovely, good food and a nice vibe for us and our young daughter. Breakfast was perfect!

The room could get quite warm (but there was air con which helped cool the room when we first arrived, and then windows open seemed enough to keep a good temp) and the bed would squeak every time you rolled over!

Excellent location, just by the river and in the town centre. Good atmosphere, friendly staff who gave me some advices on where to go and how to get there. Room was large, more than enough for one (or two). Comfortable bed, bathroom with bathtub. View to the rooftops and just over the patio which became a little noisy at night but the staff had emailed me telling me about it, so it was no surprise. Just take earplugs with you and it will be fine. Had dinner on the pub, with view to Fowey River. Service was quick, food tasty. Didn’t have drinks, though. Quite a lovely place.

Room was very good size and included a kitchen diner which we didn’t expect. Juliet balcony opened directly onto the harbour and provided lovely view across the estuary.

Breakfast options a little limited but what was offered was good with branded cereals and good quality full cooked breakfast. Staff were happy to bespoke to satisfy our picky eaters.

Well situated in a beautiful and quaint little fishing village. Great pub atmosphere but very quiet at night so no noise issues. Excellent breakfast and very clean renovated rooms.

One of our Superior rooms did not have air conditioning and was quite warm even with a floor fan, though the room description claimed to have air conditioning. A superior room means it has a superior sized bed, but not a superior quality room so this was a little confusing. No parking at hotel although you can find some parking at the council car parks.

Great location, and the room was spotless, modern and comfy. We had a fabulous view across the estuary and a window that opened wide to let lots of fresh air in. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The two things I really want in a hotel room (apart from the obvious) are a full length mirror, and hooks for wet coats (on the back of the door for instance). The Galleon provided the mirror, but not the hooks - if it had, it would have been the perfect hotel!

Fabulous location right on the waterfront. Right in the centre of cafes and little shops. It is also by the two ferries (to Bodinnick and Polruan), so access to other areas is great. The staff were lovely. We were well looked-after. The food was excellent.

No parking - the trade-off for being in the town. We got a weekly ticket and managed to park in the ferry car park every day. The upside of that is the Italian coffee shop and ice cream shop...

Picture perfect view directly on the river! Beautiful room. Lovely atmosphere. Spotlessly clean. Very convenient location. Enjoyed dinner at Galleon Inn pub next door. Pretty memorable stay!

Not a fault of the property, just noting that the great location comes with some tradeoffs which were perfectly acceptable to us: - No parking nearby. However, there is a frequent bus service from the main parking to the harbour. - There may be some occasional noise from people staying late at the pub next door

The cleanliness, the choice of food & drinks, the staff who were marvelouse, special mention for Nikki who, because my wife and myself are over 80 yrs old went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed, I should also mention her young colleague. However all of the staff were excellent, a credit to your establishment.

nothing, even the location, although difficult for us to get round didn’t spoil our stay.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The staff were so amenable about altering the menu so we could get exactly what we wanted and the food was delicious. When we arrived we were dismayed to see that it was not a twin room as we had asked. However I was partly at fault as I hadn’t checked the booking details to ensure that they had got the correct room. However they said that they could change it into a twin room and lo and behold 15 minutes later it was! The harbour location was absolutely excellent and we didn’t have any problem with noise as it was the middle of October.

The only downside is were extractor fan which was located just outside our bedroom window and the shower was a bit tricky to get the same temperature on the overhead and handheld units.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a relaxed atmosphere. The room and bathroom were clean and of a decent size with all you need for a short stay. The bed was so comfortable that you just collapsed in. The view over the water was stunning and actually surprisingly quiet, considering it's a working harbour. We booked to stay again next year, a day before we checked out.
