The hotel offered fantastic views that were truly breathtaking. Whether it was the city skyline or natural landscapes, the vistas from the property were mesmerizing and added a special touch to my stay. The staff at the hotel were lovely and highly professional. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that guests felt well taken care of. Their warm hospitality and professionalism enhanced my overall experience. The bed in my room was soft and incredibly comfortable. It provided a cozy and restful sleeping environment, allowing me to wake up refreshed and rejuvenated each morning. The breakfast served at the hotel was excellent. The quality and variety of the offerings exceeded my expectations. It was a pleasure to start the day with a delicious and satisfying meal.

However, there were a couple of aspects that could be improved. Firstly, the bathrooms in some of the rooms were not as new or modern as depicted in the images. This discrepancy was a bit disappointing, as I had expected more updated facilities based on the promotional material. Furthermore, the room I stayed in tended to be fairly warm, even with all the windows open. It was quite challenging to cool down the space to a comfortable temperature, which made the room less enjoyable during hotter periods. Despite these drawbacks, the fantastic views, friendly staff, comfortable bed, and excellent breakfast made my overall experience positive. While there were a few areas for improvement, I still had a memorable stay at this property and would consider returning in the future.

All meals were magnificent and well presented with locally sourced food available. The breakfasts were the best we have had with fantastic views and exemplary service by very friendly but professional staff. The housekeeping staff were so friendly and generously gave us information on sightseeing and local destinations to visit. Accommodation was very good with rooms sufficient in size with separate bathrooms. Security in the bedrooms was of a high standard. We required maintenance for a very minor matter and was fixed within minutes. Shout out to this staff member too, great customer service and personality. The spa, pool, sauna and wellness area was the highlight, excellent, very clean, quiet and most of all relaxing. Drinks available and the massages were exceptional. A stay at this resort was so invigorating and we left with great satisfaction and overwhelmed by the whole experience provided by the dedicated staff. Thanks for a truly wonderful stay and experience during our holiday in the UK.

Parking was a bit difficult to find when golfer's used parking spots during competition days.

Amazing hotel with fantastic view sea and Corwall, beautiful hotel , there is a big garden in front of the view sea, spa and swimming pool is fantastic, there are a loro of beach is near, Fantastic, Fantastic, very excelent breakfast and dinner,

Beautiful location, great restaurants and facilities. All of the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Being an older building the bedrooms have obviously been modernised but we felt that they let the overall experience down. Smaller than expected, the air conditioning unit was the size of a small fridge and connected to the outside wall meaning it couldn’t be moved and it was so noisy it couldn’t be on if we were in the room, which also meant it was stuffy at night. Small bathrooms with no storage/shelving and the shower screen wasn’t long enough so the bathroom was soaked and no ventilation meant you couldn’t use the mirrors after a shower. Car parking was limited, again to do with the age of the building.

The food was superb in the restaurants for breakfast, snacks and dinner. Always free cold water available and service if we wanted to order anything else. The snooker room was amazing as well as the spa and tennis courts. Spa and outdoor pool facilities were superb. Staff were friendly and professional. Didn’t get to try the gold but we will be back next time for a visit within the near future. The location was fabulous, near a walking distance away from a stunning beach. Would like to explore a bit more next time.

I didn’t like the rainy weather but who cares if you are in a spa hotel?

The breakfast was outstanding, staff couldn't have been more helpful. The location was fabulous. The facilities and cleanliness were excellent.

The only one thing was that there were no parking spaces left in the car park, I parked at the side of the road very close to the hotel and it was a private road, however I did see in the morning that there were other parking bays further up and across from the main car park which I would have preferred to use. Perhaps more details regarding parking locations could be included in the information.

The staff are simply amazing - they are so attentive (but not over-bearing), can’t do enough for you, the answer is ‘yes’ before you’ve even asked for something. The outdoor is special too with such a good outlook. Pianist in the bar in the evening, amazing coastal path walks to Fowey and Mevagissey.

it’s not the cheapest. and there should be a 30 minute rule for sun beds in spa as there are only 6 and people just hog them all day even whilst going for long breaks away from spa - even just a sign saying more than 30 mins towels removed would stop that behaviour

I enjoyed the spa facilities and I used the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room after a day’s sightseeing. It was useful to be able to use the white towelling robe in the room to walk to and from the spa.

The toiletries were hidden in a cupboard behind the mirror above the sink in he en-suite bathroom. It took me a couple of hours to find this. Some notification would have been appreciated.

Loved the location, the spa, the ambiance and personalised service as well as the wonderful staff who welcomed you like family! We loved the beautiful linen and lovely thick towels. We stayed an extra night and were upgraded to a lovely side sea room, at no extra charge. The room was lovely and quiet.

The beds were ok, but not the most comfortable. A comfortable bed is my no 1 priority when staying somewhere, along with cleanliness and quiet. Maybe worth the hotel investing in some hybrid memory foam mattresses which are super supportive and comfortable :-) ? We ate lunch in the bar, the prices were high and we didn’t feel the food we had reflected the high price charged. Breakfast was ok, but pretty average. Improvements in the food and beds would bring the rest of the guest experience inline with the areas they do so well on (as above) and make this an absolutely fabulous place to stay.

The hotel staff were incredibly polite and helpful, i was offered assistance almost everywhere i went which made me feel very welcome! I found out when checking in that my room was upgraded to 'sea view' - this was a lovely surprise and i couldn't have been more pleased with the view from my room! It was a lovely shot of the bay, very clean with a very comfortable bed. I hope when i book again that i end up with the same room as it was so nice! Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options and very attentive staff. I wasnt able to try the spa or restaurant as i was either out and about or exhausted from my adventures but im sure these were up to the same standard.

The only thing that bothered me was that i could hear my neighbour taking fairly clearly on one of the evenings so i think the walls/doors may be quite thin but luckily it didnt disturb my sleep
