Good location.

Had to find parking off site, we parked down a side street. The room was very dark. I didn’t find out until after I had a shower that there was no hairdryer, my husband went down to the bar to ask for one, however the bar was so busy that he couldn’t get anyone’s attention, so no hairdryer and had to go out that evening with wet hair, why was there no hairdryer? It’s hardly a luxury item? I couldn’t raise it in the morning as there were no staff about and we just had to leave our key in a drop off box,

Excellent accommodation, above a well appointed pub/diner. But noise was not a problem. Room very modern stylish and clean. Food was good and staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Its within walking distance of the the great tapestry of Scotland ( and the main street).

Parking. (Not the inns fault). Galashiels has a one way system which is tricky and at times very busy. We arrived 16.30 when schools nursery and shops were all busy. You couldn't get a space outside the Inn,until it calmed down. I would suggest if you've travelled far, to stop first in the Tesco car park and walk round to the Inn until spaces nearer the Inn become available. But don't let that put you off, Galashiels and the salmon inn are a great place to visit.

Comfortable bed, pillows and good towels. Nice coffee, bottles of sparkling water, tunnocks tea cakes, hot chocolate.

Room was hot and duvet even hotter. Would have liked offer of sheet to put under duvet instead of having to pull it out of cover to sleep. Otherwise absolutely no complaints. We knew breakfast wasn't provided but perhaps the offer of some kind of continental breakfast in a box might be considered (orange juice, croissant or roll, butter, jam, muffin type )

Comfy room, nicely decorated. We had a great sleep. Food in the evening was superb and a good choice on the menu. Staff were fantastic.

Parking was an issue, husband is disabled and there were no parking areas at or near the accommodation. Obviously I hadn't looked at that properly. I also thought I had booked bed and breakfast, but there was no breakfast on Sunday mornings. The accommodation was all locked up when we left, never saw anyone to say goodbye to or give feedback.

Did not have breakfast but had evening meal which was delicious. Staff so helpful gave us bucket of ice and flute glasses for our room as it was my birthday even chilled my Prosecco in their fridge whilst we enjoyed a drink outside in the sun. lovely area outside to enjoy the open surroundings. lovely comfy bed had a great stay and will be back here in the future. Would definitely recommend the Salmon Inn.

Fantastic stay at The Salmon Inn. Ideal location and fantastic comfy room. All the staff were lovely at the pub downstairs was well priced and had a great atmosphere.

We arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon so the on street parking was a bit of a hassle as we couldn’t get a space near the property. But this was well advertised on the website when booking so wasn’t a massive deal.

Clean, comfortable, centrally located, fantastic staff. Excellent restaurant. For the first time in our travelling life we ate dinner there every night of our stay. Normally we like to sample different restaurants, but the Salmon inn was too good!

Nothing - we loved everything about it.

Clean tidy lovely wee special extras like bottled water and tunnocks tea cakes

It wasn’t that I didn’t like it. I just found it slightly bizarre there was no duvet cover on the duvet but I couldn’t decide whether it was one of these just wash covers but it didn’t look like it.

Friendly, welcoming. Good at finding tables for us for dinner. Good local Dhu Stow Ale. Comfortable room with good shower.

There's nothing not to like but useful to know street parking is free when available until 09.30 in the morning, nearby. The Salmon Inn don't offer breakfast but there are several places within 100 yards or so.

Great place to stay, staff were lovely, room was surprisingly pretty and had lovely tea coffee facilities with cake and bottled water. Very clean , great towels, overall very happy!

Room and hallways were slightly perfumed which is an issue for us due to allergies but for most people this would not be a problem.
