Staff are attentive and amazing from day of booking. Placed a booking with request for a cot but mentioned I had twins (online booking only allows for request of 1 extra cot). I was contacted by hotel staff to ask if I required an extra cot due to the mentioning of twins. Fabulous attention to detail. Cots were ready when we arrived and extra towels for the littlest ones. We also managed to get milk from the bar at night for the boys as we arrived back late.

Bath tub was a little tired - I got my top and hair caught in the broken part of your bath panel. It really needs replaced in case someone else gets hurt.

The hotel does appear a bit tired but you get decent accommodation and nice food, all at a very reasonable price.

We were stuck in traffic and tried to ring to say we would be late for our dinner booking. Tried for nearly an hour but constantly got an annoying loop of someone apologizing for the delay but telling us we would be put through shortly, but no matter how long we were on nobody answered. Turns our reception closes and all calls are picked up in the dining room, but that did not happen in our case. It was very frustrating.

Food at the restaurant was great, hotel staff very helpful and polite. We didn't request a cot for our little one as we didn't want to bother hotel staff but when we arrived it was already in a room which was great. Room was clean and quiet and we had a nice view.

The beds could be more comfortable, it was no coffee maker as was stated at the room description but it was a kettle and coffee/tea/sugar sachets so it wasn't too bad. The only thing I missed it was a mini fridge which is a standard in other *** hotels but we were prepared it won't be there as room description didn't state it was any. Some people say rooms look outdated and it's true but they're still nice and okay for short stay. Took me a while to blow dry my hair though and to find a hairdryer first.

The hotel is lovely, and the staff were exceptionally cortious. We had our evening meal on night of arrival which was very good. Breakfast matched our expectations after the dinner..

The rooms are a good size but look a bit dated. Pillows weren't to my liking. We were disappointed that we had to pay for breakfasts as I'd unlocked the genius level 2 which lead me to believe breakfast was free. Therefore we ended up paying more for the stay than if we had booked including breakfast.

Stayed here April 2023 after attending a wedding nearby. Thankfully that hotel was full and much more expensive. We couldnt of got a better hotel and price than. The Garstang Country Hotel. All the staff were friendly. The rooms were plenty big enough for 2 adults and a 6&11 yr old. Even the camp beds were strong and very comfy mattress's. The king size bed was very comfortable warm and spotless clean. Towels very large and clean and fluffy. Shower lovely and hot. The whole of the hotel was nice and warm. The breakfast the next morning was included in the cost of the room, available till 10am was brilliant. Such a wide choice. Fresh coffee, various teas. Various juices and iced water. Fruits. Yoghurts. Cereals. Cakes. Toast. And also the full English Cooked breakfast. Sausages were gorgeous. Choice of eggs. Ate our breakfast at leisure then strolled back to our room to finish packing as check out was up till 11am. Really pleased and will return.

Sadly that we left a good fone charger in the room.

Delightful, helpful staff. Excellent dinner and breakfast (scrambled egg would put many 4 and 5 star hotels to shame!). Convenient location for M6. Almost exactly half way between St Andrews and London. Extremely quiet. Easy, plentiful parking in hotel's car park. Well appointed, spacious room. Lovely views over golf course and surrounding countryside. Very good value for money.

Bedside lights could have been brighter for easy reading in bed (a tiny point).

I arrived at Garstang having cycled from Stoke on Trent, and the following day's ride would take me to Carlisle. Normally Best Western would be way over my price range, so all credit to the chain for offering rooms at a budget price on selected (quieter) nights during the off season. I expect a brand standard with a quality chain, and wasn't disappointed. The bike was given accommodation for the night (secure storage), and in spite of being slightly muddy, I was still made extremely welcome. The room was comfortable to the standard I'd expect, and the breakfast was to a good standard too. All round, excellent in fact!

Honestly can't fault the hotel for anything.

Not the best breakfast service. Breakfast was booked on check in and a precise time given, well before end of service, so we expected hot food to be available. However, there was no hot water for tea, no coffee (these were eventually replaced) no sausage, bacon, mushrooms, no fried eggs only scrambled. When items did arrive there was a guest rush which made the giving of breakfast times before pointless, and I came away feeling the hotel hadn’t expected that number of people to eat! Perhaps you were short staffed as only two staff members were seen who were both pleasant throughout.

The hotel was in a great location and close to the bus stop. The room was a good size with everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a bath as well as a shower which was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And I had a very good meal of fish & chips in the evening and a buffet breakfast in the morning

Nothing I wish I could have stayed longer, I do not play golf but it was lovely to look out of the window to see the golf course while in the restaurant

Lovely hotel very clean a little old fashioned but its a beautiful place.The room was spotless and warm beautiful veiw outside the room plus it was very quiet and peaceful ..staff were lovely ..maybe the young men behind the bar could of done with more direction as didn't seem go know what they were doing but they were very polite (maybe they need someone to teach them what to do )food was good all in all its a lovely place will go again sometime just to relax and enjoy the peace.
