They have only just started serving breakfast at a very reasonable price in the last two weeks and only on a Sunday which i am sure will increase as it becomes more popular.Bookings.com did not include this information at the time of booking.Plenty of parking space at the rear of the hotel.Great position at the top of the high street.They have live music on the last Saturday in the month which is very popular.

Very difficult to find something negative but if it helps in going forward, our room number 5 was at the top of some very steep stairs which we had no problem with but some might have.The restaurant needs to find another fish supplier,my fish had the shape of a parallelogram rather than a head and tail.Not so good view from our room but believe other rooms had superb views.

Facilities so close to where daughter lived. Both rooms booked on top floor so easy to socialise with other family. Amazing kitchen facilities and manual for cooker controls in drawer.

Booking.com! Because we booked at the weekend, recieved two confirmation emails, one that looked that it was from the pub, and by shear luck i phoned 30 mins before our arrival, to discover that the pub did not know we were coming as booking.com had gone down at the weekend.

The accommodation was excellent. The bed was comfortable and lovely fluffy towels in the bathroom. We could easily have spent longer at the Dog Inn. Staff were really welcoming, friendly & helpful. Food in the pub was top notch.

Small things would be soap for the wash basin in the bathroom and the mugs, although clean, could do with a run through the dishwasher to remove tea stains.

Beautifully decked out, super comfortable accommodation. I was very impressed by the rooms, finished to a very high standard with some lovely touches.

The industrial fridge outside my window humming all night let this stay down for me I'm afraid. Despite shutting all windows and curtains its tone disturbed my sleep on both nights of my stay.

A fabulous apartment fully equipped kitchen lounge area and the biggest king size bed we've ever slept in. We stayed in the greyhound room which had fantastic views across the hills. We only stayed one night but would've loved to stay longer and will come and stay again for a few nights next time.

Really friendly helpful staff, great value for money for what was effectively a really lovely apartment with tonnes of space. Very accommodating with our dog and a nice meal in the pub.

Nothing really! Very minor point but it would be nice if they provided soap etc in the bathroom.

The accommodation was incredible. It was a one bedroom flat that had been recently refurbished to a high standard.

As the flat was at the top of the building it wouldn’t be suitable for people with mobility problems.

Really lovely little find! The room was decorated beautifully, bed was big and comfy and it really did exceed our expectations! Great value for money and the perfect stop off on our way up to the Lakes. Food in the pub was also really good.

A great place to stay, easy to find with plenty of parking. The wifi works well in all areas. The rooms are great, more like a suite. It is a pub so there is a bar and restaurant on site. The staff are very helpful.

Breakfast is not included.

fantastic spacious home from home luxury apartment. Excellent bar & restaurant downstairs. steak night was excellent value, 2 steaks & bottle of wine for £40. Friendly owner. We will return when next staying in the area.
