The staff were incredibly friendly and very knowledgable, very nice breakfast, nice comfortable bed , quiet room, everything you needed in the room. It's very close to kelvingrove Park, Kelvingrove Museum of Art, The beautiful historic University of Glasgow and the science museum all worth a great visit , a few restaurants and coffee shops alike nearby in this hip upscale area of the city . For shopping, bars, nightlife and more it's about 25 mins walk to buchanan St or a short bus ride. Bus stop is outside the hotel.

Our only thing is the heating came on a little too late in the evening as it was on a timer, was still a bit cold as it was only march when we visited.

Nice boutique hotel in a good location near the University. The staff was very accommodating when we had to unexpectedly extend our stay by a couple of nights. Lots of good dining nearby.

Our primary issue was that for some reason, during the last couple of nights of our stay, the hot water ran out at around 10 pm and we didn’t have hot water again until the morning. I notified the staff, but it happened again the next night. This is not a complaint, but it should be noted for anyone considering this hotel that this is not a chain hotel like a Marriott, so don’t expect some of the typical hotel amenities such as hotel-provided shampoo and soap. I’m sure the same can be said for many of the other boutique hotels in the immediate area.

OK. My Scottish friend phoned and asked whether she could join me for breakfast, and the hotel said yes. But when we met, the receptionist lady got angry with me. She said, “We should inform her before”. However, the other receptionist didn’t tell us to do so. It was just a one-hour meeting after 11 years, and she ruined it. She yelled at me in the presence of other guests. Her manners were very cold and angry while serving us two God dammed egg. I am so very sorry. And I won't accept any apology.

I loved room we had, was bigger then I thought it would be. we didn't have breakfast there but the location of the hotel was so close to so. many places for breakfast. My friend and I felt very comfortable there and safe. We felt like the staff were amazing and very good at their jobs, especially Liz, the duty manager and receptionist. she could have a laugh with us and told ass the good places to get food and made the Glasgow experience memorable. Thank you!!

First and foremost, the staff at the hotel is great. They were pleasant and helpful. The location of the hotel was great for us, as our stay was for events at the Kelvin Hall, which was a 7-min walk away. If you want the main shopping areas by George Square, then it will be quite track (25 - 30 mins), albeit a nice walk. There are some good restaurants in the vicinity and they won't break the bank. The rooms are all located in the lower ground floor and I don't think there's a lift, so bear that in mind. We had room facing Sauchie Hall Street but we were bothered by the traffic noise. There are also lots of electric sockets, which was such a bonus. The wifi was also good. Small bathroom but clean and functional. We liked the breakfast, a good choice of continental and full English/Scottish breakfast, no kipper, alas.

There wasn’t an electric socket in the bathroom. If you, like me, use an electric toothbrush, there is no way to charge it up. You will need to bring an adaptor to charge it in the room. It was raining lots during our stay and we missed not having a coat hook to hang our wet outdoor coats up when we return to the room. There was plenty of wall space for a hook or two.

Joe was so friendly and welcoming and approachable, definitely a great front man! He really helped us feel relaxed and comfortable and felt if we had needed anything we could have easily just asked. We were upgraded too which was a great surprise. Everything was clean and well presented. A quiet comfortable hotel, will definitely return and recommend.

The sink soap dispenser came away as was loose, a minor thing, really.

Big shout out to Liz who's an amazing duty manager and instantly make you feel welcome. The location is great if you're looking to discover Finnieston that has plenty of great dining options or visit Kelvingrove Museum or even being close to both West End and Merchant city. The room (single) was very small but as seen in the picture so no surprise and very clean. It is also priced accordingly (very cheap for a room in the city with such location) and price/cleanliness is great as well as comfort.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They communicated clearly before and during our stay. The location was great, near some nice bars and restaurants and not too far from the city centre (approx 25 mins walk). It was good value for money. On street parking was nearby (outside the front door) which was free after 6pm and weekends.

Noise of a pump or something when running water in bathroom.

Location was perfect near shops and fine restaurants in a fun neighborhood. Clean and fresh room and great hospitality. This small boutique hotel is a great alternative to the big chains and you can personalize your experience.

We were on the bottom floor, under the street level, and with the window open(it was warm) we heard people coming and going from the pubs all hours of the night.

Liz (the manager on duty when we stayed) was very informative and so welcoming when we arrived. She gave us directions to where we were heading during our stay and she was very thorough when telling us details about our stay at the hotel. The room was cosy and clean, there was complimentary tea and coffee as well as a kettle which was great. The bed was comfy and the fact that there was a tv in the room was a great plus. We were heading out that night and there was a seating area with a mirror which was fantastic.

To be honest there isn’t much that I could say regarding improvements. The only slightly negative thing we noticed was that the plumbing is fairly loud when the toilet is flushed etc but even that wasn’t too bothersome.
