This place is outstanding. The building is impressive. The rooms are spotless. En suite bathrooms in dorms… quite something. There is a great communal room downstairs with TV, sofas and charging points for your devices. The staff are amazing. Polite, efficient and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. I was taken ill; they looked after my things whilst I was in hospital. Just so kind. The prices are superb; the beds have curtains around; this is a nice touch giving privacy and shade at any time of day. Great location where everything interesting is close, an outdoor laundry, parking and Charing Cross railway station are a stones throw away. Excellent. Good friendly vibe. No tolerance of nonsense; it really is safe. Highly recommended.

The liquid soap dispenser and toilet roll dispensers are, well, a little faulty sometimes. Just ask the staff, don’t be shy. They will put it right straight away, they always do. It’s a tiny issue, given that these are in en-suite, clean, modern nice bathrooms.

Fantastic quiet location with easy access into the city centre and trains. Privacy curtains on beds were much appreciated. Modern clean bathroom.

Bathroom fan didn’t switch off (not a problem unless you’re a light sleeper or positioned in the bunk next to it). Stained/ugly carpet in hallways etc. Not really any space in my room to lay out bags etc and locker storage was too small to fit a suitcase or large backpack. Shower dial was confusing to operate (consensus of all in the room also).

Room was much better than I expected, especially the bathroom, by far the best I have ever experience in any hotel of the same category. Beds are very comfortable with enough space overhead if your are sleeping on the bottom bunk. I must also complement the cleanliness of the rooms and public areas, which where done daily, as well as the overall appearance of the building which as been well maintained. Great team; very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Location is quite central with easy access to the main lively areas even by foot.

The only two down notes were the weak wifi signal and the absence of an iron board.

The location is perfect for where we were heading, Glasgow Green, Def Leppard gig. Room was clean, lounge clean. The bedding was lovely and crisp Shower room ideal as an ensuite although didn't use it. The curtains around the bed are ideal as are the little shelf with individual light and socket/usb Very spacious room for 6 people

The smoking on the doorsteps to enter the property, was like walking through a cloud of smoke, but at least it's outside. The bedroom carpet very thin and stained. There are no hanging hooks in the room or in the lockers which would be ideal for hanging up wet coats. My mattress was extremely hard with no give at all and the pillow was definitely a brick. Could do with another mirror rather than just 1 in the bathroom

The room was comfy and quiet.

The staff ! I arrived quite late and had to wait 20-30min to check in, they had police officers checking some footage! In the morning at the desk was Indian background girl, she was with rude attitude yelling at me telling me that I shouldn’t have been in that room I stay in wrong room as my fault entirely .. she expected it me to pay extra.. and then she yelled that will charge me £5 for late check out and she did! she was demanding me to pay.. it was 45min late check out which I had to carry down stairs my heavy luggage. horrible experience I will never ever be there again! Then I stay 6 days at euro hostel Glasgow! 5⭐️

I thought that the beds were very comfortable with plenty of space and privacy offered by the draw curtains. The addition of a charging socket for my laptop and a small lamp were also appreciated. The room temperature was also excellent and the room felt as though it were well ventilated without the need for an open window. I also liked that the common room was accessible for waiting and working after I had checked out, as my bus did not leave until the evening. The staff were also helpful and friendly.

The automated extractor fan in the bathroom, whilst appreciated for drawing away humidity after showers, seemed to remaining functioning for quite some time after leaving the bathroom and turning out light, which could be a little noisy when people were sleeping, but it was not terribly loud, just seemed a little energy-inefficient.

The location of the hotel is close to Central Glasgow, the staff were very friendly and accommdating, the room was clean and served our needs well, and the facilities were comfortable, not to mention very good value considering we booked on short notice. More than happy with our stay here!

Hardly worth mentioning, but I noticed that in the bathroom, there wasn't a bathmat to keep the floor dry. A very minor issue and one we solved by simply using a spare towel. Otherwise, there were no issues at all, and we were very happy with our stay.

The room was very nice, bathroom was a really nice size with a very big shower. Big and comfortable bed with cleaned sheets etc. In a really good location in regards to lots of shops, restaurants, bars, and more yet still not in the middle of the busy night life. Easy check in and check out process.

The only thing I would say is there was no microwave or kitchen for any food preparation so if staying for longer than a weekend and trying to not eat out every night, would maybe be a problem. Also if wanted to get hot water down by reception, we would have to pay for it (coins only).

I arrived at Charing Cross train station, so this Hostel was just a stones' throw from there! A lounge area to watch tv & hang out. Bed was super comfy -- bathroom was very modern & clean -- curtains around the bed -- plugs & light close by. The staff, very friendly & helpful. I would stay there again! GREAT as a base -- mostly because it's so easily accessible to the train station which, at the same time, connects up with the other train stations in town!

the only thing was that it was a bit far from the downtown area. It's only 15-20 minutes by foot, but if you have an early train or bus .... or .... if you are coming back late at night, this may be a problem for some. I stayed in a room with two international students, staying in the room "long-term" -- I didn't have a problem with this, not at all -- BUT -- it might be an issue for others.

There are curtains on each bunk, the bathroom has a hot towel rack and there was also a set of lockers for each bunk. The staff was incredibly helpful and very kind. I paid an extra two pounds for a female only room which - as a solo female traveler - I find to be worth it. The room was six bunks and a bathroom. Check in/check out was super easy and I felt very safe here.

The location was fairly far from a lot of things but for the price it is of great value and totally worth it. They didn’t have any locks for the lockers when I asked but I didn’t feel like I needed one based on the room I was in - it is something I wish they had available though if I were to be staying in a larger dorm with more people.
