Beautiful location, pre-erected tent was great with blow up beds and bedding included. We had a small picnic bench nearby and space for a fire pit/BBQ. The hotel area has a homely feel, help yourself to tea and coffee, relax in the comfy communal spaces. There’s also a take away and whilst the food is quite expensive we found it to be tasty and large portions- one would feel two people!

We stayed Thursday til Sunday. I think this place is amazing mid week when it’s quiet but come the weekend it was heaving with people who were there with the intention of “getting on it” and who have no knowledge of camping etiquette. Up boozing till 1am then the inevitable fighting kicks off. Not the fault of the campsite of course, but I’d highly suggest security are present and enforcing a strict noise policy as this absolutely ruined our last night. I’d only come back mid week to this lovely wee place based on this experience.

Firstly the staff Adam and Margaret who we had most contact with are very professional and personable. They provided a welcoming and efficient face for this accommodation. They provided a warm welcome, an efficient check in and an organised access to hearty meals, things to do and places to see. My wife and I were very pleased with their service. The breakfast is a continental breakfast. To be fair, it’s experimental until they can determine if consistent demand will drive the efficacy of providing full Scottish breakfast’s. The existing breakfast is part of the package and sufficient to get people fed and on their way.

The room we stayed in, the Muir room, was very comfortable and decorated well. The property manager, Andrew I believe, was very pleasant and wanted to make sure we had a good stay. Everything we needed was provided. The beds were very comfortable. It's located near the West Highland Way and access to some good hiking and biking.

The room is located in a house that is available to all of the campers on the property. When we arrived it was raining and many campers were inside the living area avoiding the wetness, charging phones and hanging out. Once in our room it was quiet and not a concern.

When we arrived the owner was very apologetic, and said that he would be able to accommodate us elsewhere after the first night. We did the tent for one night, which was actually fun, because it was so cold we were well outside our comfort zone. As promised, the owner put us in a little hut with a heater and tv, which was lovely of him. A really nice guy, who made sure we were ok. Really enjoyed our stay.

We booked a tent, expecting it to have a bathroom as per the description on Booking.com. It was a very thin tent and not really suitable for the cold weather.

The breakfast had a good selection of cereals, toast, porridge, fruit, tea, coffee etc. The location was really nice, great scenery and the site was well set up. Great for kids, plenty space to run around.

The original price of over £200 before discount for a tent made me think they were going to be something special. To be fair they were nice enough, basic bell tent with 2 large inflatable beds in each with, quilt and pillow but they're not a £200+ a night standard.

I loved the location for this. The view around the hotel did not disappoint and it was a short walk from The West Highland Way. It did not take too long by car to get to Ben Lomond for a good day of walking either. Audrey was around to answer any questions I had and there was a homely feel to the stay especially with the resident pets. You could help yourself to toast, cereal and drinks at breakfast, though the choice was quite limited. I booked the smaller room as I was travelling alone and found it quite cosy. The only thing I felt could have been better was the mattress, it was quite bumpy and I found it slightly uncomfortable. However, I did enjoy my stay and would recommend this hotel to others and would definitely return in the future.

West Highland Way Hotel is a large B&B (about 8 rooms I think) combined with a large campsite (lots of pitches for tents and camper vans). Rooms are comfortable, with their own ensuite facilities. Its location works well for me on my way back from regular trips to the Hebrides so that I can break my journey on my way back south. Andrew is always a very welcoming host and interesting to chat to. Every time I stay there the site has grown in some way or other, most recently with additional pitches for van lifers, adding a charitable side to the business. In the summer season, evening meals are available to order. Breakfast is a help-yourself continental type offering in the mornings which is very convenient.

If you're expecting a traditional cooked breakfast you will be disappointed, and in the summer season it is a very busy place with all the campers. If you book online, make sure you understand exaclty what you are booking, whether it's a room in the hotel, a pitch for your own tent or campervan, a glamping tent or shepherd's hut - Andrew has it all!

This was our first ever trip to Scotland. We wanted to get away from cities and buildings and just explore pure nature, quiet stay. Place was easy to access, friendly staff was ready to help with any of our questions (help with taxi to Glasgow, sorted us with extra rain coat for a walk etc). We spent time in beautiful, warm, cosy and friendly house, not just typical ''hotel''. It exceeded our expectations for sure. Warm greetings to the owner and staff!

I'm sorry but I have nothing to write in this section. We got all we need and asked for!
