Location was great, Drymen is lovely. Loved the huge pool and so many facilities like sauna , steam, gym, squash court. Very friendly and helpful lady serving breakfast

Could’ve been more information re the spa as I couldn’t find anything online to pre-book. Also had to ask about access rather than being told when checking in. Some staff seemed a bit uninterested.. waiting at reception a while only to be asked “if there was something we wanted “ asked for an iron and was given a surly reply and no iron .. asked someone else the next morning and they were happy to help

When arrived receptionist didn't give alot of enthusiasm. Older gentleman staff member asked where our room was very abrupt and not very helpful Night staff amazing and wee jen barmaid absolutely lovely

Everything, the room the location the facilities the friendly team . I really enjoyed my time at the hotel and made full use of the fabulous hospitality and facilities on offer . From checking in to leaving the service was exemplary. In speaking to the new manager he has a clear plan for the direction he wants the hotel to go with and I believe he’ll get there with ease. The only thing I would say is look at expanding the options in the evening meal menu as I felt it was limited although the food I had was really good. I all a good stay nothing negative to say all positive for me personally and I will be back soon 👍

The leisure facilities were great. Rooms were spacious. Shower was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedding was clean. Nice towels. Plenty of wardrobe space. Location is great with restaurants, pubs, and cafes nearby. The bar area downstairs (which we didn't make use of) looked amazing, as did the entrance. We would stay again.

Rooms were a bit dated and tired looking. Chairs were stained. Room was too hot at times. Pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn't included with price. However, none of this got in the way of a great time.

The staff had a private dining room prepared for my sons birthday. This gave us the room for my 1 year old granddaughter room to wander about without annoying any guest. Marco the manager, Niamh and the hotel staff from reception to Leisure Centre could do enough to make your stay worthwhile, The hotel is centrally located and has some great places to eat or drink near byh

Unfortunately the food was not what we expected. I would definitely recommend the burger but was disappointed by the chips and the food did lack heat . This was a busy night for them and could be a one off

The rooms were clean. Standard exactly what you would expect. A bit dated but clean and everything we needed. The pool was great. The food was great. The staff were great. I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but I was pleased with everything. You can hear people in the corridor when you are in your room but no-one was rowdy. We had a good sleep and a pleasant stay. Was good to see live entertainment also.

There wasn't anything we didn't like and we would certainly return. For me to improve the stay I would like it to be dog friendly.

Spa facilities were good although a spin dryer would be beneficial. Staff were friendly and the sitting areas were welcoming. The rooms and corridors appeared a little tired.

The selection at breakfast was very limited, the addition of fruit would have been good and a choice of continental breakfast may be welcomed. Very disappointed with the very cold plates which were there for hot food to be placed on. We would also have preferred a teapot of tea served to the table as the flasks do not keep it warm enough.

The hotel and staff were excellent. Room was clean and meals were excellent.

The noise above the room was extremely loud during the night keeping me awake most of the night. The floor continually creeked and things banged now and again and heavy footsteps kept crossing the floor. I felt they surely most lie down and sleep sometime. However on our last night it was very quite. I guess the occupants must have gone home🤣. Our westie dog was terrified to go through the corridor from the gym entrance through the corridor into the lounge. Not sure what the problem was. (Spooky)

The leisure facilities were lovely, sauna and steam room as well as pool were in good clean condition. The jacuzzi was also great. Staff at the leisure centre are great. You can book in for a spa treatment, but I would recommend giving the hotel a call in advance of your stay if interested as the therapist is usually booked up. My partner had a treatment and was very pleased with the quality! Although we didn't use the gym due to the short length of our stay, the gym was very well equipped with weights and cardio equipment - and even a squat rack.

At the time of our stay some of the pool was closed off, but this didn't prevent guests being able to use it. We asked for an iron as we urgently needed one before a dinner reservation - unfortunately it didn't come. We also asked to be given towels as you have to use the ones from your room at the pool and waited for ages, until we got frustrated and went to wait at reception for them to be given to us.

The young girl and man were very polite and helpful. The location was good and parking was easy to find and get a spot

The shower didn't have cold water so was boiling hot and couldn't be used as was burning our skin. There was no toilet holder so the rolls were piled up in the back of the toilet. Hair in the bath and sink. They seemed under staffed. The staff were great but service was slow due to lack of staff. Only ever saw 2 people and they were running reception, the bar, and the restaurant. Food was basic for the price. And the hotel looked very tired and desperate for a renovation. The paint was cracked around the doors and on the walls. You could see the filler in the walls, the bathroom door was badly damaged damage I think there is a lot of potential for the hotel but definitely missing the mark at the moment. I do feel over charged for a room I couldn't even have a shower in.
