We had a really super couple of days with our friendly hostess Jacqueline, chatting about all sorts of things, including Degas! We helped her with a couple of practical things and were rewarded with a glass of wine. Loved being able to make ourselves a cuppa in the pantry, sitting on the window seat in the lounge, and taking advantage of the extra deep bath. Tasty breakfasts, sitting round the table with other guests. Gorgeous avenue and lovely local views. Would happily go back.

Nothing really, except that for us the duvet was a bit too warm, but maybe that's because we're from the Highlands!

Jacqui, the owner was fantastic. Always available in case we needed anything. Gave us a good welcome and let us know about the property. She cooked an excellent breakfast. We took a wonderful walk in the beautiful surroundings and saw a few deer. We sat in the lounge after dinner and had some wine we brought. Really lovely lounge. The flowers were gorgeous. The bed was really comfortable. It was quiet with nice views of the garden, peaceful and serene. We had a lovely stay. Would highly recommend. We were on our way to the Highlands and wanted a stopping point before the big journey. Jacqui also allowed us to change our reservation at no cost as my husband had a test scheduled we could not change, so that was much appreciated.

There was really nothing we didn't like. We loved it. Would definitely book again.

The property is a house with real character, in a country location, and is very nicely furnished. The Hostess is very friendly.

We requested dual beds but got a single large mattress. Being older folk, we do not sleep as soundly these days, and sharing a mattress leads us to wake each other up... We also found the road into the property a little scary to drive on because it was one lane with passing bays but quite a few blind turns. The hostess recommended a great restaurant to us, but again it required the drive on the narrow twisting road... The food there was, however, great. The breakfast at the hotel was also very good.

A beautiful house, in a beautiful place, with a lovely and kind host, here to help you with anything you might need, always making sure you have everything you need. The room and bathroom were very pretty, clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The area is calm and quiet, you can see and hear animals (birds, deers, rabbits). The park around is totally worth a walk and you can get amazing views from the road leading to Park of Drumquassle! Totally recommend this peaceful and beautiful spot!

The setting of this B&B is just stunning , wild Deer in the grounds was fabulous. The house is stunning, very traditional features and Jacqueline has done a wonderful job of furnishing the house. Jacqueline couldn't do enough for us, and the breakfast room was just fabulous, very grand!

Our room didn't have an en suite, which isn't for everyone, but it certainly didn't ruin our stay and we would definitely stay again, but book a different room. We had private bathroom and toilet down the hall.

Beautiful, Beautiful grounds and quiet! Hotel was comfortable with nice amenities. Owner is sweet! We had to leave early for the airport and she got up and fixed breakfast for us! It meant a great deal! A great deal of history with a field next to the Park in which a Roman Fort sat and there is an old Brothy. There is a sundial from the 1700s in the back garden! Very much enjoyed exploring it! Even had close encounters with deer! Would definitely recommend a stay!!

The hotel was a little difficult to find but the locals were very helpful. The google maps does not have it in the exact place where the hotel is located.

What a gorgeous house! It was simply stunning and with Jacqueline as the host we were blown away. From the moment we entered the house and Jacqueline made a fuss of our dog, we felt we were in a home from home. The house, the grounds and the hostess are all lovely. Breakfast was great and plentiful and Jacqueline recommended nearby eateries for our evening meal.

Nothing to dislike.

After having crossed an alley of century-old beech trees, we discovered, nestled in the heart of a superb green park, a Georgian house full of charm, which seduced us immediately. Our host, Jacqueline, with her warm and generous personality, seduced us just as much and was concerned about our well-being during our 3-night stay. We found the calm and serenity we were looking for with a spacious and comfortable room. A wonderfully unique place!!!!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The house and furnishings are stylish and inspiring, the bed was very comfortable. Jacqui made a wonderful cooked breakfast and she looked after us very well, including Monty who had his own bowl to himself! Beautiful grounds too, we saw an owl fly across on the long drive down to the house. We wish we had stayed for longer.

Monty wanted more breakfast, but in reality it was plenty for a little doggy with big eyes bigger than his belly :) Jackie & Paul

What a nice way to end a journey. Day dreaming in a Beautiful Georgian mansion house in 58 acres with fishing and equestrian facilities, delightful gardens with lovely bushes, historic trees and flowers, dears that come to the house in the morning and little rabbits and squirrels running around and still close to the big cities of Edinburg and Glasgow with its museums and galleries. The surrounding area offers some of Scotland's finest scenery, including Loch Lomond and the Arrochar Alps. Nice little restaurants with top cuisine just around the corner, set in the most picturesque little villages. And last but not least we met the most delightful, with great sense of humor and entertaining host! We highly recommend.
