Clean and well maintained. Good location with lovely view of the Priory Church and distant countryside from one of the bedrooms booked

Was expecting both rooms to have equal facilities and views as paid same price for both rooms. They were near each other as requested but was disappointed my son and his fiancé didn’t have a equally appointed room. My future daughter-in-law is a Vegan and pointed out to me that when restaurant staff checked the temperature of the cooked breakfast items the same probe was used for meat a non-meat products.

A unique blend of modern comfort and historic settings. Housed in a Victorian building, the hotel presents a romantic, quiet and relaxing tune, fitted perfectly in the surrounding atmosphere of the town. It definitely deserves the title of one of Malvern's landmarks. The staff was polite and warmhearted. The breakfast menu was delicious and generous. A very energizing place.

Once the daily housekeeping declined, you might change your mind, at least as regards some details. In my case the personnel needed some reminders to do a light housekeeping, such as emptying the bin, renewing daily supply of tea and coffee, as well as of shampoo but after all, they did it. Thus, it was all right.

Breakfast was the usual help yourself buffet and was fine. Location of hotel was excellent both for exploring Great Malvern and venturing further afield. Only a 20 minute walk to the station, which had free car parking if you preferred to drive there. We had a day in Worcester travelling by train, much less hassle than driving and finding a car park and paying for a day's parking. Day return cheap and could use any train, although even less for us as we have railcard. We had 2 evening meals at the hotel which were ok, not an exciting menu and some items e.g. steak were very expensive.

It would have been very good to have had access to the hotel from the car park. Can drop off luggage at the front but lots of steps there too. Although car park is large there is very limited space when hotel has an event in the Elgar suite. Some of the spaces are very difficult to get in and out of. We stayed for 4 days and our room was in lower ground floor, so rather dreary and dark. Always needed light on and very overlooked. So although room was a good size we were a little disappointed having it for 4 days.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, comfortable overall. Nice room, decorated nicely. Perfectly adequate and comfortable apart from sloping ceiling. I liked the character of it but was a little low for husband. Breakfast was ample, good choices and good quality. Bread choices for toast could have been a little more interesting.

The room had a lovely view but restricted headspace. We were unable to open the window fully which was very disappointing. Would have preferred not to be over the wedding party although it did finish at a reasonable time so that was acceptable. The bathroom felt dated and overall the public areas felt very ‘brown’ . The breakfast room felt very 70’s. It doesn’t need to be modern but the decor does feel like it needs a rwfresh.

The location of the hotel was perfect. The staff were very friendly, the room was small but comfortable with a nice view and the breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. I also liked the fact you get a large bottle of water in your room. There is plenty of space to sit in the day or evening for a drink or just to sit and relax around the reception area, which I thought was nice. The hotel itself is very clean. The cleaning staff work very hard. I've been a cleaner, so I can see how hard they do work. Overall, I would recommend the Abbey hotel and I would definitely stay again

The only issue is that the room, which was high up, was so hot at night, but they did supply a fan, so that did help.

We came for a relaxing few days away, and were delighted with the quality of our stay. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view of the Rose Garden and steep hills beyond, and a good bathroom. Overall it was the friendliness and helpfulness of every member of staff which made our stay so enjoyable. It was also a bonus to be able to order food at any time of day - essential if you go walking in the hills!

Only gripes: the pillows were hard and in the bathroom the fixed shower head was annoying. The bath, although deep, is narrow and rather uncomfortable.

The building itself, as you approach, is beautiful. The greeting is warm and efficient which is a very tricky thing to pull off. Our room was comfortable and spacious with an incredible view of The Abbey itself and the valley below. The bed was comfortable with quality bedding, and we slept well despite the church clock bells chiming, gently, throughout the night. Our breakfast was superb...varied, delicious and unhurried. Just what we needed before our drive home. I only wish we'd been staying longer.

Absolutely nothing. If I had to find a constructive critique, I'd mention the confusing signage at the carpatk entrance, the gorgeous bedside lights that have a separate reading light but both have to be on at once and the lack of any shelf in the shower...if you can't bend down where does your soap, shampoo, sponge etc go?

We loved the setting and the style of the hotel. We were so pleased that the executive room we were in was one of the ivy clad suites...just added that extra touch. Everything within the room was really clean, tidy and not "tired" looking, and the set up was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful on reception and the dining room. Breakfast was superb and a fantstic range to choose from. We shall definitely be back!

There was nothing not to like. We did switch off our mini fridge at night, as it did make a regular beeping sound for some reason, but that wasn't a problem at all.

- beautiful building - great location for visiting malvern - ample free parking - really good buffet breakfast - good range at the evening bar - decent room - kettle for tea, and coffee machine in room - loved the plastic free bins and recycling bin inserts, first time I’ve seen this in a hotel and it’s always something I think is needed! - all staff we met were very friendly

- found the bed a bit hard - old looking kettle very slow to boil, only 2 coffee pods (however I don’t doubt they would have given us more if we asked), no fresh milk in room for hot drinks - shower pressure was very weak even when taken off the eco mode - very retro telephone in the room with a big green light up screen, I had to unplug it to help get the room dark enough to sleep in - SO many emails and messages leading up to the stay, online check in and check out didn’t work

Arrived for a 1 night stay that I had booked at the last minute.plenty of parking in the back of the hotel. Checked in quickly and room all ready and spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lovely big comfortable bed, bath and shower plenty of space for clothes, dressing table with mirror(a must)and everything worked. Ordered room service which came quickly and great meal. slept well and breakfast was very good, great choice and someone there to explain how it all worked. Hotel perfect for the three counties show ground.

The only thing I will say is the breakfast could have been hotter although looks great I don’t think these dishes keep it particularly hot.
