Room was really, clean, the owners are new so there is a few things they could have had in bathroom like handwash, and may be some hooks to hang towels up, whilst your in shower. But considering they have only been there a couple of months, everything is a learning curve. But we were happy beds were clean and comfy. All the towels that were provided more than enough all clean. Breakfast which was full english., was really lovey and served to the time we requested. They had all that was needed orange juice cereal, jams butter etc.

There was nothing I disliked.

It was a 25 minute walk away from the Vauxhall holiday park and i was able to leave my event at 1 00 am each night and not have any fuss with taxis and just check in to my room.

Maybe breakfast should have been available until 10 30 am rather than 9 30 am as my unaccompanied personel stay involved 3 late night arrivals so committing to a pre paid meal not knowing if i would oversleep and miss said meal was not really viable under the circumstances.

We stayed at the very top floor in a lovely double room with a sea view. The room was a nice and warm.The bathroom was a good size,And everything was clean. Breakfast was nice. It's a hotel that is over a hundred years old and it is very charming and lots of character. We loved parking was easy for us,Just to the side of the main street,And alongside the hotel.

Bar area was not in use but then it's still quite early in the year.

The location is excellent, just a short stroll to the main promenade and the beach area far enough away from the main attractions to be quiet.

If I was being really picky I would only comment on the shower we had, as we were right at the top of the building the pressure was a bit low.

Everything was provided for shampoo, shower gel, but we didn’t Have antibacterial handwash in the bathroom.

Close to all amenities 5 minutes walk The beach is Wright opposite the Hotel. The bed was very comfortable, nice hot shower. Could park on the side road. This was the 2nd time I stayed in the Gable end hotel, and I will do it again.

You get what you pay for it was good value.

Only stayed one night due to work. It was a last minute thing but I am happy to have stayed in this hotel. The lady who met me and let me in was very nice and helped me find somewhere to eat. The rooms for the price are excellent and clean. I couldn’t stay for breakfast but it did smell good. I would stay again (254 nights in hotels last year) and this hotel would stand in the top third of hotels I have I have visited. I will go back.

Nothing

The room was better than we expected, more space and plenty of room. Breakfast was spot on-good food and well cooked. Clean bed linen, amenities in the room as you would expect from a hotel stay.

Attention to detail on cleaning rooms could be improved-windowsills could be wiped down and bathroom floor hadn’t been swept. Bed and linen was clean and no complaints. The host did seem to be running everything alone, so could be that it was a time restraint during our stay.

From the start we were welcomed by very friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. And it was a very nice place to stay.

Nothing against the hotel. It was my fault for not checking location but it was a little too far out for me to walk. Quite a walk into the main town.

The hotel was easy to find, due to its location being on the main seafront, there was parking on site. The owner checked me in explained where everything was and showed me to my room. Not a huge room but nice and clean with a very comfy bed and a lovely warm duvet ! A nice hot shower and a great breakfast served to order, the owner let me leave my car in the car park while i was working in the town which i thought was great. Good value for money and nothing i could fault about the experience

The whole place was great for the money so no complaints from me
